Hotel Granview Ishigaki The First

Although our stay ended up being five nights including an extended stay due to a typhoon, we were able to spend the time very comfortably. The front desk staff took excellent care of us, and we sincerely appreciate your support. I have visited Ishigaki Island many times, but this was my first time staying at a Hotel near the port; the convenient access for visiting multiple nearby islands was wonderful, and I would love to stay with you again. There were also several international staff members, and their friendly service with warm smiles was truly pleasant and relaxing. Thank you very much.

This Hotel is very convenient in many ways. First, the location is excellent. For our family, who gets around without a rental car, it was perfect for going anywhere and doing anything. Also, the elevator does not require you to scan your Room key card, which actually made things more convenient. We stayed in a triple Room, and it was very spacious—there was plenty of space even with our suitcases open, so it was comfortable. We also appreciated having a large public bath. After marine activities, you want to shower as soon as you get back to the Hotel, but without a public bath you end up waiting your turn for the shower. In that sense, having a large public bath where everyone can bathe at once is really helpful. However, one thing: I think the public bath closes too early. Breakfast was tasty with no issues, and when we returned to the Hotel from dinner in heavy rain, the front desk kindly lent us bath towels—they were very helpful. We have visited Ishigaki Island several times and stayed at various Hotels, but we decided to make this Hotel our regular place to stay on Ishigaki Island.
