Onsen Guesthouse Suibatonosu

I stayed here for one night during a two-night trip to Shimane because I wanted to keep the Accommodation cost down for one night. This guesthouse run by Kasuien Minami was the perfect choice, especially because the breakfast was delicious. I had made a Reservation for an annex Room, but they recommended another Room instead—and it was wonderful. Taking out the trash and making up the futon were self-service, but it wasn’t a problem at all. The down comforter was fluffy and very comfortable. Tamatsukuri Onsen… the water is great, and even the name “Tamatsukuri Onsen” sounds lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I arrived by motorcycle in heavy rain, and it was a great help to be able to park in a covered parking area. The Onsen water felt soft and left my skin smooth—it was very relaxing. Breakfast included bento-style side dishes, warm rice, and clam miso soup. I was able to enjoy the atmosphere of an Onsen town and an Onsen Accommodation at a reasonable price, and relax at my own pace.
