Oyado Sansui

We stayed as three generations and booked two Rooms (a barrier-free Japanese-Western Room and a Japanese-Western Room for four).■Room Barrier-free Japanese-Western Room It felt a bit dated, but it was very clean and comfortable even with a wheelchair. That said, the view from the window was mostly the garden hillside, so the scenery was a little underwhelming, and the Room felt slightly dark at times.Japanese-Western Room (for four) A beautifully renovated, stylish space! With an amazing view of the pond right in front of us, our daughters were thrilled.■Onsen・Facility / Inside the Accommodation The tatami hallways meant no slippers were needed—such a relaxing atmosphere. There was also a footbath area where we could unwind. The private bath in particular was spacious, so my mother could use it with peace of mind. The Onsen water quality was surprisingly rich and moisturizing—truly wonderful.■Meals・Service The food portions were generous and everything tasted excellent. The extra-ordered horse sashimi was also very satisfying. When they prepared a cake for us, they kindly helped set things up so we could enjoy it in our Room, which we really appreciated. The free drinks after viewing hanamomo blossoms (including draft beer) were also fantastic.■Overall The Rooms, Onsen, and meals were all outstanding—we had such a fulfilling stay. We would definitely like to return to this Accommodation.

This was my second stay, and I hesitated a bit because I had a poor impression of the attendant last time. This time, the attendant was from Myanmar (I apologize if I’m mistaken), and their attentiveness made my stay very comfortable. The meals were the same as last time, but I was surprised at how much more I could enjoy them simply because of the difference in service. I’m grateful to an attendant who truly wanted me to relax and enjoy my time here.
