    Beautiful Hotel

    I was looking for a reasonably priced Hotel for an overnight stay as I had plans in Karuizawa. Although the price felt slightly higher due to the year-end season, I decided to try it out because of its high Review ratings. The location is just a 30-second walk from Saku-Daira Station, and the Room has a simple yet functional beauty reminiscent of an international city Hotel. It is well-equipped with features like internet TV where you can watch YouTube and a desk. The Room only has a shower booth, but there is a public bath with an open-air section. The lounge area allows you to step out onto the terrace and enjoy the night view. The French toast served at breakfast was delicious. While it’s slightly disappointing that there are no late-night snacks like "Yonaki Soba" or Onsen facilities in the public bath, which seem trendy in Hotels these days, I found this Hotel highly satisfying overall. The front desk staff provided clear and polite explanations, and security using code keys was excellent.

    Clean and convenient, but an unpleasant experience with restaurant service.

    I visited Karuizawa for sightseeing and stayed for the first time with a 1-night, 2-meal Plan. The Hotel was new and clean, the view from the Room was great, and the front desk staff were very polite, making my stay comfortable. However, I felt disappointed with the service I received at the breakfast restaurant. Since breakfast's last entry was until 9:00 AM, I arrived before then. Upon arrival, a female staff member gave an attitude as if to say "Finally here," and simply guided me to my seat while saying in a dismissive tone as she left, "Breakfast ends at 9:30." The way it was said clearly implied that we should hurry up. It made me feel uncomfortable; just stating the time would have been sufficient. This level of service is unacceptable in hospitality. If that had been all, I might have let it go and enjoyed my breakfast peacefully. However, another staff member came to our table five minutes later to remind us again that "Breakfast ends at 9:30." I couldn't understand why this needed to be repeated multiple times—it felt unnecessary. Additionally, during our meal, we could hear conversations among staff such as "Only two more guests left" or "Three minutes remaining," which were loud enough for us to hear clearly even though they might not have realized it themselves. This kind of behavior made for an unpleasant experience—something I've never encountered during breakfasts at other Hotels. I fully understood beforehand about their operating hours and acknowledge that we arrived close to closing time due to circumstances on our end; one of my companions wasn't feeling well this morning which delayed us slightly. However, restaurants should consider various situations guests may face when arriving late without letting dissatisfaction show through their service or operations—this needs improvement. Having enjoyed a delicious dinner course the night before only made this unpleasant breakfast experience even more disappointing. That being said—the front desk team’s courteousness along with clean Rooms offered at reasonable prices were excellent points worth noting here as well!

    A Very Comfortable Stay

    It was truly an enjoyable stay. The Room was clean and tidy. Although not very spacious, the separate toilet and washbasin made it convenient to use. The large public bath was relaxing, and the spacious indoor and outdoor lounges provided a perfect place to unwind. The Shinshu premium beef dinner was incredibly delicious, with reasonable pricing. Parking was conveniently located across the street, and thanks to the Hotel, it was free of charge, which we appreciated. There’s also a large AEON Plaza nearby, making it very convenient. I would love to stay here again when visiting Karuizawa!

    Clean Hotel Near the Station

    Conveniently located right next to the station, perfect for train travelers. The property has been beautifully renovated, with the Room, lounge, and restaurant all exceptionally clean. The double bowl sink in the Room's bathroom was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of Japanese and Western dishes, all of which were delicious.

    I will book again.

    I am a repeat guest because it was convenient during the summer. The room is compact but simple and comfortable to stay in. The curtain rails are designed to overlap at the center, blocking sunlight and allowing for a good night's sleep. Although it's not an Onsen, I like that there is a large public bath and an open-air bath available.

    The Room and the entire facility are impeccably clean, making every stay extremely pleasant. The temperature of the open-air bath is just right for me, allowing me to relax while watching the clouds drift by. The front desk staff are also very courteous and attentive. I definitely plan to visit again.

    Business? No, Resort Hotel The excellent reviews are true.

    The reviews were so good that I visited with a bit of skepticism, but... the reviews were absolutely true. Although I didn’t mention it was our wedding anniversary when making the reservation, I called to confirm what to do in case of a typhoon since there was a forecast for one close to our visit. During the call, I casually mentioned that we were looking forward to celebrating our anniversary with mountain hiking as the main activity. It was my first time visiting and being categorized as a Business Hotel, I didn’t expect much. However, there was a message on the dessert plate! All the staff members were kind and attentive; we enjoyed delicious meals while chatting about sightseeing. At dessert time, they unexpectedly celebrated us—it felt more like Resort Hotel hospitality than a Business Hotel! The room was spacious, and from both the large public bath and open-air bath, you could see surrounding mountains—so much so that you’d forget how close it is to the Shinkansen station. In the morning, we even saw sea clouds between mountains—it truly felt like staying at a Resort Hotel. For dinner courses: appetizers, fish dishes, meat dishes—all delicious—but breakfast stood out even more! The chef explained they don’t use frozen foods just for variety; instead local vegetables and meats are used throughout. From hearty pork miso soup filled with big chunks of vegetables and pork belly to sweet-and-savory stir-fried beef or walnut soba noodles alongside freshly made French toast—everything tasted amazing! My husband and I couldn’t stop saying how delicious everything was as we ate. I feel torn between wanting this wonderful hotel in Karuizawa to remain undiscovered by others versus wanting everyone else also knowing about such an incredible place! When will be my next stay? Hopefully by Golden Week at least!

    Spacious Room, Excellent

    Used several times. There are few twin rooms, so I always make a reservation early. The room is spacious and clean enough. The bath on the top floor is not an onsen, but I could relax and enjoy it. Breakfast feels a bit overpriced with limited variety. The quality of bread could be improved. Ham and sausages are not tasty either; I hope for improvement.

    Dinner is always car...

    Dinner is always carefully prepared and incredibly delicious. Compared to the dinner crowd, breakfast tends to have more people, mostly men, which made me realize it's a Business Hotel. The morning miso soup was filled with vegetables and had a comforting, gentle flavor. The women's bath felt slightly neglected in maintenance. The room wear also lacked a bit of cleanliness, which might make it unappealing for women. Since I traveled light, I decided to wear it anyway.

    Clean and satisfying

    Thank you for staying with us during your golf trip. We are glad you enjoyed our new and clean facilities, as well as the large public bath, which is perfect after consecutive days of golfing. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. One small downside was that the sink in the room was quite low, causing water to splash onto the floor when washing your face. While we understand space may be limited, we believe there is room for improvement in this area.

    A Hotel with Excellent Access to the Shinkansen, Delicious Meals, and Outstanding Value for Money

    The hotel is conveniently located near Saku-Daira Station, with Aeon, fast food outlets, and a famous soba restaurant nearby. At check-in, you can select necessary amenities, including coffee, tea, and Japanese tea for your room. Elevator access requires a card key for added security; two elevators are in operation to ensure smooth use. From my room, I enjoyed the distant view of majestic mountains and the sight of Shinkansen arrivals and departures below. The toilet and shower room are separate from the sink area next to the bed cabinet—convenient for handwashing or makeup application. There’s a large mirror as well as a handheld one nearby; an outlet for the hairdryer is also close by. The bed features Simmons mattresses offering exceptional comfort with power outlets by the bedside. On the 8th floor are both indoor baths and an outdoor open-air bath along with a sauna—all clean and relaxing spaces. The hairdryers provided at the sinks have strong airflow making them easy to use; cleansing oil, lotion, and emulsion are also available here. On this same floor is a spacious lounge equipped with comfortable sofas where you can relax further—ice cube service is also offered. The breakfast buffet was delicious overall! Especially notable were fresh vegetable salads, simmered dishes like miso soup—the variety wasn’t overwhelming but just right (avoiding overeating). Shinshu specialty soba noodles came paired perfectly alongside dipping sauce while yogurt corners featured homemade jams crafted by staff themselves which tasted amazing too! Local specialties such as apple juice & milk stood out alongside delightful French toast options. Staff during check-in—a young female employee—provided clear explanations politely leaving positive impressions throughout interactions made seamlessly pleasant experiences altogether! If there’s any minor inconvenience worth mentioning—it might be parking situated across roads slightly requiring extra effort reaching back/forth between accommodations yet manageable nonetheless given everything else offered here surpasses expectations entirely! Among recent stays within business hotels category ranks among top-tier choices undoubtedly competing closely against others alike ensuring satisfaction guaranteed every visit ahead planned returning whenever visiting Saku City/Karuizawa areas again future trips anticipated fondly remembered moments cherished always!

    The instructions for using the parking lot are insufficient.

    I used a private car, but the external multi-story parking lot was not mentioned in the guidance at the time of reservation, so I couldn't figure it out. I had to drive around the hotel several times and make a phone call to finally understand. It would have been better if the guidance was more helpful.

    Well-located and clean Hotel

    I chose this Hotel considering the convenience of traveling by Shinkansen. It is about a 3-minute walk from the Shinkansen station, with easy access to Karuizawa Station (just one stop away) and Nagano Station. Saku is famous for high-quality indigo dyeing, which even attracted Eiichi Shibusawa for purchasing indigo in the past. The Room and various areas of the Hotel are decorated with stylish indigo-dyed items. I mistakenly misunderstood the check-out time (likely due to incorrect prior information), but I realized it thanks to a call from the staff, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused. The Room was spacious and clean. As it was a single room, there was only a shower; however, there is a large public bath on the 8th floor (with sauna and open-air bath), so it wasn’t an issue at all—I enjoyed using it every time comfortably. Amenities were available near the front desk, and while my Room was clean, convenient, and comfortable overall, there was an unpleasant odor upon entering that resembled aging body odor, which persisted despite running an air purifier continuously. Even the pillow had this smell—it was my only concern during my stay. That said, breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and the staff were kind and helpful. I would love to stay here again when visiting Karuizawa next time—hopefully by then, the odor issue will have been resolved!

    I would like to use it again.

    I rated the bath 3 stars because I injured my leg and couldn't use it. My partner said, "It was very nice!" Everyone was very kind, the room was clean, the system allowed us to choose only the necessary amenities, and its proximity to the station made for a comfortable stay. The price was much more reasonable compared to a small business hotel in Tokyo where we stayed the previous night. The room had only a shower, but I wish I had asked if there was a chair available for the shower area. Next time, I would like to try the restaurant as well. Thank you!

    A hotel near the station, clean and equipped with excellent facilities. It pleasantly exceeds expectations.

    A very clean hotel conveniently located in front of the station. The top-floor public bath was well-equipped with an open-air bath and sauna. The room was clean and well-maintained, and even during my Multiple Night Stay, the bed-making on the second day was thorough and pleasant. Additionally, the free parking in front of the station added to my satisfaction!

    Perfect Base for Your Nagano Trip

    This is my second stay. It's helpful that check-in is possible until around midnight. I didn't know there was such a clean, well-maintained Business Hotel with excellent meals in Saku-Daira, a convenient base for traveling in Nagano. Is it still new? It's a comfortable Hotel, and I would like to stay here again.

    I love it!!

    I stayed here last winter and had such a great experience that I decided to return. With four beds, a large public bath, and delicious breakfast, this hotel perfectly meets my daughter's requests. In Karuizawa, accommodations like this can be quite expensive, but this place offers it all! The on-site restaurant serves tasty and reasonably priced dinner as well. There's also an AEON Mall within walking distance, so you don't have to worry if you need anything. Although I usually prefer trying different accommodations rather than repeating stays, this is one hotel I'd love to make my go-to for trips to Karuizawa. I hope the excellent value for money continues!

    I almost gave up on summer in Karuizawa because it was too expensive, but I found a wonderful Hotel near Saku-Daira Station, just one stop away by Shinkansen. Only 30 seconds from the station, with delicious breakfast and a large shopping center nearby. Karuizawa is just an 8-minute Shinkansen ride away.

    Stylish Hotel in Front of the Station

    Checked into Aqua Hotel Premium while traveling through Kurobe and Hakuba. My grandchild immediately said, "I like this kind of hotel." The previous two accommodations were a bit older in style, so the stylish Aqua Hotel seemed to be a favorite. My room was slightly small with no bathtub, but it had a desk which made it very convenient for me. The refrigerator was compact and did not have a freezer function. Breakfast was visually delightful, with the French toast being particularly delicious. The highlight was the large public bath located on the top floor. It even had an open-air bath where you could enjoy views of the outside scenery at eye level—such a wonderful way to feel connected to nature! From the lounge area, you can step out onto an outdoor balcony to relax while taking in the view. Parking is available at affiliated parking lots and is free for guests staying at the accommodation.

    The Hotel is new, so...

    The Hotel is new, so the Rooms are clean and comfortable. The Comfort Twin Room is spacious and pleasant. Its proximity to the station makes it very convenient. I have used this Hotel multiple times but choose not to include meals. During my first stay, I opted for breakfast, but a large number of foreign guests took excessive amounts of bread onto their plates (and later packed them in bags to take away), resulting in a shortage of bread. When I requested replenishment, it was not possible, so I couldn't enjoy any bread. I am unsure if meal replenishment has improved since then, but from that experience onward, I decided not to include meals. There are large shopping malls nearby where you can purchase breakfast items in advance and bring them with you without any issues. The parking lot can be difficult to locate for first-time visitors arriving by car; therefore, it is recommended to confirm its location beforehand.

    Hotel with EV Charging

    I stayed with no meals included as I was preparing for golf the next day. This hotel offers EV charging for free when staying, which was very convenient. Additionally, the parking area for charging is covered and has a direct entrance to the hotel front desk. The large public bath on the 8th floor also includes a sauna! Although it’s a compact hotel, I felt their hospitality through both the reception staff and room amenities. If I have another chance to stay, I’d like to try their breakfast.

    Thank you for the two-day stay. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a clean and well-equipped Hotel so close to the station. The location is very convenient, just 8 minutes by Shinkansen to Karuizawa. The Room was spacious and well-received. Breakfast did not disappoint, with options like soba noodles, which were delicious.

    First time staying at Saku-Daira. The new Hotel had excellent facilities and baths, especially considering the price. I hope this quality and cost balance is maintained.
