    We had a relaxing stay.

    The baths are excellent, with an open-air bath and a sauna. The lounge in front of the baths has a great view, and you can buy your favorite drinks from the vending machines and relax. Dinner was delicious, and the complimentary drink was a nice touch. It was also great that they offer a good selection of local sake. Breakfast also featured local items, which I appreciated, and both the bread and rice were tasty. The only disappointing thing was that check-in took about 30 minutes. Maybe it was just bad timing.

    We had a wonderful time.

    I stayed for three nights and was completely satisfied!! The Hotel was spotless throughout—bright, clean, and beautifully maintained. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were friendly and welcoming, which created a great atmosphere. The amenities were refined, and I was especially happy to have organic coffee. One small note: the complimentary mineral water in the Room refrigerator had to be picked up at the front desk from the second night onward. It would be even better if it could be placed in the Room during cleaning. The Room was bright and clean, with no odors in the bedding. I’m a bit particular about cleanliness, but there was nothing that bothered me here—I felt very comfortable. The bath area and changing room were also very clean, and the open-air bath was wonderful. The ReFa hair dryer and other amenities such as shampoo were great as well. I especially loved the post-bath lounge and terrace. I think this is one of the best Hotels in this price range. I already have a Reservation for next month. This time I had a Room with a view of Mt. Asama, and the sunrise was beautiful. I’d be happy if I could have a mountain-view Room again next month—can I request that? Thank you for a wonderful stay.

    Next to Karuizawa

    I stayed here because of its convenient access to Karuizawa, and I’d been interested in it for a while. The French mini-course dinner was also very delicious. It’s perfect for adults who don’t need a large portion but want to enjoy great food. The Room was simple, refined, and very easy to use. The Room has only a shower booth, which makes the toilet area spacious. The large public bath was clean and comfortable to use, and there is also an open-air bath and a sauna. Since it wasn’t an Onsen, I gave it 4 stars. The staff were very friendly as well. I will stay again.

    The Hotel is clean and reasonably priced, but

    The Room is very clean and the view from the window is nice, but the front desk staff are not very efficient. To reduce check-in lines, I think the Hotel should install self-service check-in kiosks. A request that could be handled in one minute ends up taking a 10-minute wait when someone ahead is struggling with check-in, which is inefficient. Also, because the front desk staff handle things at a relaxed pace, guests waiting in line get frustrated. Since the Room is clean and comfortable, I believe this could become a higher-level Hotel if customer service improves. I would like to stay again, so I hope you will consider making improvements.

    It is a wonderful Hotel.

    We stayed here for a family trip to Karuizawa. We expected a Business Hotel with a large public bath, but the Hotel was very stylish, the atmosphere was great, and all the staff were very kind. The large public bath was spacious and relaxing. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was delicious. We would definitely like to stay here again.

    A Hotel that exceeds expectations

    We stayed for one night with breakfast during the three-day holiday weekend in July. It was very convenient, as it’s about a 40-minute drive to Karuizawa. Since Hotel prices in Karuizawa are high from this season, we felt this Hotel offered great value: we could relax in the large public bath and enjoy a wide variety of dishes at the breakfast buffet. We would definitely like to stay again in the future. The staff were also very courteous, and we highly recommend it.

    Extremely close to the station, with highly recommended baths and breakfast.

    I stayed here again following last year. The Room is simple and clean, and the large public bath is fully equipped with an open-air bath and a sauna (including a cold plunge). There is also a spacious relaxation area just outside the bath, where you can buy drinks or ice cream and even step outside, which made it very relaxing. I also love the breakfast for its wide variety; this time, the eggplant miso soup was especially delicious. If possible, I would personally be even happier if rice porridge were added alongside the rice, but that may be asking too much—so I hope you will keep things as they are.

    This is my go-to accommodation (lol).

    It’s close to the station and very clean; the large public bath is spacious, and the open-air bath feels wonderful. The lounge on the same floor has a spectacular view, the Room is spotless, and the food is delicious. From now on, I’ll stay in Sakudaira instead of Karuizawa. If only two Shinkansen trains stopped at Sakudaira Station every hour—though that’s not really up to the Hotel. I’ll be back again.

    The service was excellent, and the parking lot felt spacious.

    The service is excellent. There are two elevators. Since there is a bus stop in front of the Hotel entrance, unloading a lot of luggage from a car or stopping there requires extra care. Entering the building from the rear parking lot can be confusing if it’s your first time. I think it would be better to have more guidance signs, such as “Front Desk this way.” Breakfast is very delicious. Considering the price, it’s very good value. The large public bath on the rooftop is also great. The showers are inconvenient because they stop after a set time, but there are plenty of washing stations, and if the weather is nice, the view is great. The shampoo and other amenities were also good quality. It would be nice to have two pillows per person on the bed. The bed was quite comfortable. There seem to be various places to eat, but the closest was Yoro no Taki (izakaya). This Hotel is recommended in Saku City. Thank you very much.

    The price was reasonable and both dinner and breakfast were excellent, but...

    I was able to stay at a reasonable price with both dinner and breakfast included. Both meals were very delicious, which was great, but... Having drinks in the lounge in front of the large public bath is nice, but several men were gathered right in front of the elevator talking loudly, which seemed to make it difficult for women to go to the bath. Perhaps you could reconsider the layout/traffic flow between the elevator, lounge, and the large public bath (especially the women’s area)? The free parking lot is across the road, and since it was raining heavily when we arrived, carrying our luggage was a bit difficult. However, given that it’s right by the station, that may be unavoidable.

    Third time.

    Whenever I drive around Saku and elsewhere in Nagano Prefecture, I always stay here. The Room, the front desk staff, and the cleaning staff are all wonderful, and personally I don’t think there is a better Business Hotel than this one. I’ll be back!

    The breakfast is absolutely delicious!

    Our family of four stayed here, including a young child, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful care we received, which made our stay very comfortable. In addition to the Facility being clean and well maintained, we were impressed by how delicious the breakfast buffet was! There were many dishes made with ingredients from Shinshu, and in particular, the miso soup made with Shinshu miso was packed with vegetables and so tasty that we wanted to have seconds again and again!

    The front desk staff were very helpful, and we had an enjoyable trip.

    We used this Accommodation for an overnight stay during our alumni golf gathering. There were bars nearby, and we enjoyed the view from the large public bath on the 8th floor, which made for a great time.

    It just feels so comfortable.

    This time, we visited during cherry blossom season. It was only our second stay, but after hiking Mt. Hikarujo in Azumino, Nagano—despite there being many places to stay nearby—we came here at my husband’s request: “Nagano means Aqua.” We booked a massage, took our time in the bath, and spent a relaxing stay. And the breakfast we look forward to was—“as expected, delicious.” Unlike autumn, there were no cherry-blossom-colored soba noodles or locally sourced seasonal vegetables padded out with frozen fried items just to increase the number of dishes; instead, there was a wide selection of properly homemade side dishes. It’s the kind of breakfast you feel grateful for as you eat it. So this time as well, when the chef came out to check on the dishes at the buffet counter, I stood up and told them how good it was. It was delicious—thank you for the wonderful meal. The staff are all smiles as well. The female front desk staff also greeted us with warm smiles and even gave us sightseeing information about Komoro Kaikoen Garden. It feels very homey and kind. One thing I didn’t notice during our previous stay is that their security measures are truly impressive. Many Hotels require you to enter a password for free Wi-Fi, but at Aqua Hotel each Room has its own password—so I was surprised (and impressed) by how considerate this is, especially for business travelers. Safe, secure, reliable—I once again felt that Aqua Hotel is very comfortable. Next time, we’d like to visit again around late summer.

    Great value for money and very satisfying—I'd love to stay again!

    Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, the Room was clean, the bed was spacious, and the large public bath also had lockers with keys.     Comfortable if you’re not looking for luxury!

    We stayed here as a family on our Golden Week trip to Karuizawa. In Karuizawa, instead of relaxing at a Hotel, we prefer to enjoy meals at our favorite restaurants, so although it’s a bit farther away, we’ve been choosing this Hotel more often lately. The Room is spacious, and while it isn’t an Onsen, there is a large public bath, an open-air bath, and even a sauna—all very clean. The hair dryer in the changing area was ReFa, which made my daughter happy. The phone support regarding our Reservation was very pleasant, and the friendly staff at the front desk also made us feel welcome. We’ll be back again. Thank you!

    We had a wonderful stay.

    The Facility is new, very clean, and comfortable. The twin Room was spacious and bright, and the view from the window lifted our spirits; it was also fun to watch the trains go by. We also appreciated having a bathtub with a separate washing area in the bathroom. There was a sliding door between the washroom and bedroom, so while my wife woke up early to get ready, I could sleep soundly—another great touch. What truly surprised us was the food—it was absolutely delicious. Choosing the two-meal Plan with one drink included was definitely the right decision. Free parking is available, and there were bottled mineral waters in the refrigerator. I loved that they were chilled inside rather than left out on a table. The staff were all attentive and pleasant, making our stay very enjoyable. It wasn’t an Onsen, so I deducted one star for that reason only, but it was still a wonderful stay overall. It’s far from home for us, but we will definitely visit again.

    The breakfast buffet is excellent.

    This was my second stay. The Facility is very clean overall, and the Room has an elegant, calming atmosphere. The bed is spacious, and above all, I love the breakfast buffet for its wide variety and great taste—so I decided to return. This time, my Room faced a streetlight. Since I don’t really like blackout curtains, it felt a little bright at night when I was trying to sleep, but I still had a very pleasant stay. I will visit again.

    High-level and right on point

    It was a very good Hotel. They have thoroughly streamlined operations and implemented digital transformation, eliminating waste while investing in what truly improves guest satisfaction, which left a great impression. The Room was extremely clean, and the one I stayed in—unusual for a Hotel—did not have a unit bath; instead, it had a separate shower booth and toilet. Even more unusually, there was a sink inside the Room, which was very convenient. The bed was also very comfortable. The large public bath on the top floor has an open-air bath and an authentic sauna, so I could sweat it out properly and felt great. Also, at the relaxation lounge next to the public bath, you can step out onto the outdoor deck during daylight hours and enjoy panoramic views of Saku City from the 8th floor. It’s not what you’d call luxury, but I found it highly satisfying and felt it is a very high-level Hotel.

    Thank you very much.

    I had another very comfortable stay. I have stayed here during the spring cherry blossom season and the autumn foliage season. The location is very convenient, close to Sakudaira Station, and the parking lot is easy to use. I would like to stay here again when traveling in Shinshu.

    Close to the station, with clean Facilities—highly satisfying.

    This was my first stay. It’s conveniently located right by Sakudaira Station. There’s also an AEON nearby, which was perfect for a walk after using the hot bath Facility after check-in. The elevator requires a Room key. The hot bath Facility also uses a code entry system, which felt reassuring. The Room has only a shower, but it wasn’t cramped, and the view of Mt. Asama from the window was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious, and I could enjoy it at a relaxed pace in a quiet setting. Perhaps families are seated separately; further inside, families seemed to be happily enjoying their meal. Considering the price, it’s only one stop away from Karuizawa and still offers this level of quality, so I would stay again. I gave 4 stars because I prefer very hot water and found the bath temperature a bit low.

    A Hotel with an Onsen in a Great Location

    It’s conveniently located just steps from Sakudaira Station. The Room does not have a bathtub, but there is a bath with an open-air bath on the top floor, and there is also a sauna. It wasn’t too crowded, which was nice.

    Great location.

    The top recommendation is the scenic top-floor bath with stunning views! (The large, sturdy cups in the lounge on the same floor are very easy to use—lids would be appreciated.) Although it’s close to the station, train noise is not much of an issue. The rooms are efficiently laid out but a bit small. Breakfast offers a wide variety and lets you enjoy locally sourced ingredients. It would be even better if there were parking inside the Hotel, but… Overall, it’s affordable with a great location, and I’d like to stay again.

    Oh Take

    An ideal base for skiing

    I always stay here as a base for skiing. This Hotel offers access to an affiliated multi-story parking garage across the road, and having a roof is especially reassuring on snowy days. In the large public bath on the top floor, you can relax while taking in beautiful mountain views. The sauna and cold bath in particular are the perfect way to refresh and soothe tired muscles after skiing. This time I used the Hotel’s partner package for Takamine Mountain Park (formerly ASAMA2000), but with many other ski resorts—such as Sugadaira, Yachiho, and Yunomaru—within about an hour’s drive, it’s an ideal location and an Accommodation I truly recommend to skiers.

    It’s really almost perfect.

    The Facility is clean, stylishly put together, and wonderful. The top-floor terrace somehow only has vending machines, but I was still able to relax there. However, it’s hard to say, but the staff seemed a bit unmotivated, and the hospitality at the front desk when welcoming guests felt limited. The restaurant staff also chatted among themselves a lot, and since it’s buffet-style, it gave off a “help yourself” vibe. I’d like to be able to use the bath until check-out time. Since it isn’t an Onsen, it might be fun to float herbs or fruit in the tub.

    There were no suitab...

    There were no suitable Hotels near Karuizawa Station for a trip to Kusatsu Onsen, so I stayed here the night before. It was just a short walk from the station, and the interior was stylish—I’m glad I chose this place. I also enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

    Beautiful Hotel

    I was looking for a reasonably priced Hotel for an overnight stay as I had plans in Karuizawa. Although the price felt slightly higher due to the year-end season, I decided to try it out because of its high Review ratings. The location is just a 30-second walk from Saku-Daira Station, and the Room has a simple yet functional beauty reminiscent of an international city Hotel. It is well-equipped with features like internet TV where you can watch YouTube and a desk. The Room only has a shower booth, but there is a public bath with an open-air section. The lounge area allows you to step out onto the terrace and enjoy the night view. The French toast served at breakfast was delicious. While it’s slightly disappointing that there are no late-night snacks like "Yonaki Soba" or Onsen facilities in the public bath, which seem trendy in Hotels these days, I found this Hotel highly satisfying overall. The front desk staff provided clear and polite explanations, and security using code keys was excellent.
