    Returning guest.

    I had another comfortable stay. However, throughout the night, I was bothered by the sound of some kind of motor. It would be nice if you offered bath additives or bath salts in exchange for unneeded amenities. Even though the Hotel is old, it is well cleaned and feels pleasant.

    It’s disappointing that there is no information about Rooms with windows that cannot be opened.

    I stayed for the third time because of the breakfast, and it was just as good as expected. The route from the station used to require going up and down a pedestrian overpass, but a crosswalk has been added, making it much easier. However, although I was told I had been upgraded to a renovated Room, the window was frosted glass and the stopper did not work, so I could not tell anything about the weather outside. Since it is in a downtown area, I was not expecting a view, but I do not like Rooms that feel closed in, so I was left dissatisfied. The wallpaper and bathroom were new, so there is no doubt it has been renovated, but I would have liked an explanation of these drawbacks as well.

    Delicious breakfast.

    The breakfast was certainly delicious, but my expectations were set too high by the reviews. I also wished there had been a few more Japanese-style options. The Hotel felt compact overall, and it’s a bit of a walk from the station. The Room was a little old and on the small side, but it was very clean.

    Hotel with high-roof parking available

    I stayed here while traveling from Osaka for a reunion with friends. Since I mainly travel by car, I made a Reservation at a Hotel near parking. At check-in, I was asked whether I would use the parking lot. Because my vehicle is high-roof, I said multi-story parking wouldn’t work and that I had parked elsewhere, but they told me a few high-roof vehicles can be accommodated. After checking in, I stopped by a convenience store and checked the location. There was plenty of space, so I moved my car from the other lot to the Hotel’s parking. It was 1,500 yen per night and could be used until 3:00 PM the next day. From now on, when staying solo in Kobe, I plan to choose this Hotel. The Room itself also had two rooms—more than enough for one person—and overall I was very satisfied with the Hotel. Thank you very much.

    Highly satisfied.

    We stayed overnight to celebrate our grandchild’s birthday. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and the bathroom—especially the shower curtain—was spotless, making our stay very comfortable. Breakfast lived up to its reputation, with a wide variety of dishes you don’t see at other hotels. They also used vegetables grown locally in Kobe, which was a big plus. And the juices—these days many places use machines, but not here. There were many drink options, and since I couldn’t resist, I tried small amounts of several kinds. There were also plenty of side dishes, and I ended up eating too much. The staff’s thoughtful hospitality was wonderful as well, and we would love to stay here again.

    My plans changed and...

    My plans changed and I ended up spending more time in the Room than expected, but the TV was connected to Prime Video, so I could relax and watch things I don’t usually get to see. The amenities were plentiful, and it was a pleasant surprise that I could stay without bringing anything. The bathtub was also large, so I could take a long, relaxing bath and unwind. Since I didn’t have any bath salts with me, I thought it would be nice if there were a service where you could exchange unneeded items like razors for bath salts. Because the walls are thin, noise from other Rooms was noticeable at times, but overall I was able to relax comfortably. I’ve stayed at Hotels of many different grades, and this is one of the few Hotels that made me want to stay again.

    The epitome of femininity

    It was truly wonderful! Right after arriving, I could refresh myself with the fruit tea in the lobby. There were plenty of amenities and rental items. On the shelf under the microwave, there were plates and cutlery. Truly wonderful!! As for breakfast, it goes without saying how great it was— the variety, taste, presentation, and even the tableware were all amazing. Truly wonderful!! Above all, the staff were absolutely wonderful!! All I can say is “wonderful,” and I almost feel sorry for my lack of vocabulary—it really was that amazing!! Next time, I’d like to invite someone who hasn’t had this experience yet and stay together!!

    Breakfast was as well-regarded as expected, with a wide variety of delicious options. Very satisfying from the morning. The Room and bathroom facilities have also been updated, making the stay comfortable. The only improvement I would request is the curtains. The blackout performance is not quite sufficient, and especially in this season, outside light comes in from early morning and wakes me up. Even in a west-facing Room..., so it would likely be even tougher in south- or east-facing Rooms. I would like to request that the curtains be replaced.

    The breakfast was great.

    I stayed here during my trip to Kobe. I arrived by car and was worried because I was told a Reservation couldn’t be made, but since I arrived early, I was able to check in. The Room was simple, but it had all the necessary amenities, and there were also tea bags and coffee. The bathroom is spacious and relaxing, so it would be great if bath salts were provided. Breakfast was very delicious with a wide variety of dishes—I couldn’t finish everything, which was a shame. The sweets selection was excellent too; I almost wanted to take some pastries home. Next time, I’ll come hungrier for a rematch. It may be difficult for those who prefer Japanese-style meals.

    This Hotel may not stand out, but it’s quite good—a hidden gem.

    My first stay here on a business trip. The lobby is spacious, and check-in was smooth with no crowds. The system that lets you place your luggage yourself next to the lobby is also well thought out. The exterior and surrounding area are not very noticeable, but it’s close to Shin-Kobe Station and within walking distance of Sannomiya, so it’s quite convenient. The Room is generously sized, and I was satisfied with the classic Hotel style. Breakfast is healthy, with carefully selected foods that are good for the body. The female staff at reception were pleasant and helpful as well. A surprisingly great hidden-gem Hotel that I was happy with. It’s different from today’s luxury Hotels, but considering the cost performance, it’s worth using for business trips. I will stay again.

    Breakfast to Look Forward To

    This time, I stayed here because I had long been curious about the breakfast that has ranked No. 1 in the whole country for seven consecutive years. The result… Personally, since I prefer Japanese cuisine, it felt like a standard Western-style breakfast. The hospitality at the breakfast venue was good, but I was concerned about the flow of movement around the entrance and exit. The Room had a unit bath… surprisingly spacious, so it was more comfortable to use than I expected. I hope to visit again for a change of pace. Thank you very much for taking care of me during my stay.

    A stylish Hotel with a true Kobe vibe

    A stylish Hotel with a true Kobe vibe Breakfast lives up to its reputation, with a wide variety of carefully prepared dishes—excellent. The Room is spacious and was renovated a few years ago, with the bathroom and toilet separated, making it very convenient. Amenities are well stocked, and I was satisfied overall. The only drawback is the window curtains: they don’t block light well enough, so I woke up from the morning sunlight. Replacing them with blackout curtains is essential.

    The breakfast is very satisfying, but

    I chose this Hotel because I wanted to find one I could recommend to friends, and decided to stay locally over the holiday instead of going out of town. First of all, the breakfast was excellent. Not only the food, but also how well the staff timed clearing plates was wonderful. However, the guest room was truly disappointing. I don’t mind that it feels old—that can’t really be helped—and not being able to adjust the air conditioning is a drawback, but more than anything, the cleaning is careless. The ceiling you see when rinsing at the sink had mold; there was mold on the in-room phone as well; and dust had built up. The antique-style wood-grain furniture is lovely, but there was dust on the bedside table too, and it made me feel like I might start scooping up dust like a picky mother-in-law. Also, the elevator hall area was dark even in the morning, which made me wonder if they keep it dim so that skipped cleaning won’t stand out… I’d been wanting to stay here for a long time, so it was truly disappointing. From now on, I may just come for breakfast only.

    An excellent breakfast, as expected

    I was amazed. I had heard this Hotel was famous for its breakfast, but it exceeded my expectations. There was a great variety of dishes, and I enjoyed the desserts as well. The warm, family-like hospitality really came through, and I felt it even surpassed the breakfast at some five-star Hotels. The Room was also very comfortable—the bath and washbasin area were spacious and easy to use. They’ve won me over with the food, so I’ll probably find myself coming back to stay again.

    This was my first time staying here.

    Based on online ratings and Reviews, and its proximity to Sannomiya Station, we chose to stay here. The twin room was very clean. However, personally, I would have preferred the bathroom and toilet to be separate. If I have the opportunity to stay again, I would definitely like to try the breakfast.     Wedding Anniversary

    We stayed to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were very satisfied with the polite and kind service at reception. The Room, bed, bath, and toilet were all spotless, and we had a very comfortable stay. And the breakfast menu was amazing! Everything was truly delicious. Thanks to everyone at the Hotel, we got to see my wife’s smile and it became the best wedding anniversary. Thank you very much.

    Family Trip

    This is feedback from a women’s family trip with my wife, her mother, and her sister! The Hotel was clean, and the newly renovated Room was also spotless—apparently it was amazing! The breakfast buffet had options that women would enjoy, and everyone was very satisfied!

    Great Hotel!

    Used for a business trip! Not sure if I was upgraded, but the Room was spotless and very clean, and the bath was huge! That’s a real plus for business travelers who are on the road often. Breakfast was also excellent... I’ll stay here again next time!

    I always stay at my regular accommodation in Kobe.

    I used to choose hotels in the Meriken area when staying in Kobe, but ever since discovering this hotel near Sannomiya, it has been my go-to choice. The access is convenient, and while the hotel itself feels a bit dated, the charming interior and renovated bathrooms in some rooms make for a comfortable stay. The spacious bathroom is especially great—it’s perfect for relaxing and unwinding. This time I chose a no-meal plan, but the meals here are elaborate and delicious, leaving me very satisfied!

    Delicious Breakfast

    Last year, I had planned to visit during the Luminarie event with a Reservation, but due to my mother's critical condition, I had to Cancel the Reservation suddenly. The response at that time was very kind and considerate. After a year, I was finally able to stay here, and it was truly wonderful. The breakfast was exceptional with a wide variety of carefully prepared dishes. Although I couldn't try all the desserts, they were delicious—especially the cookies which were perfectly crisp; I wish I could have eaten more! The Room's bath was large and deep, allowing for a relaxing soak. Both the bathroom and Room have been renovated beautifully, making my stay very comfortable. Thank you so much!

    Wonderful Hotel

    A conveniently located Hotel, about a 10-minute walk from Sannomiya Station. Although I expected the Room to be old since it is an established Hotel, it was very clean, possibly due to renovations. The bathroom was spacious, and the interior design was lovely. The breakfast I had been looking forward to was a Western-style buffet with each dish carefully prepared and delicious. The bread from a famous local bakery was soft, and the desserts exceeded expectations with their variety—truly outstanding. This is a wonderful Hotel that deserves its high ratings; I would definitely love to stay here again.

    Enjoyable Kobe Trip

    Stayed for a Multiple Night Stay and enjoyed the popular breakfast on the second day. While the variety wasn't overwhelmingly extensive, it was just right and everything was delicious. The selection was excellent, including roast beef, tasty vegetable dishes, delicious bread, and desserts like petite cakes and pudding. Chocolates, cookies, and candies were beautifully displayed as decorations, making it enjoyable even to look at. However, there were no Japanese-style options like white rice. The Room had stylishly colored walls with a charming design. It was spacious and functional with a large bathroom featuring a wide washing area and bathtub where I could relax with bath salts. Coffee, tea, and bottled water were also provided in the room—very convenient! I would definitely choose to stay here again if I visit Kobe in the future!

    This was my first stay. The Room was charming, the bathroom was clean, and it was a very comfortable Hotel. The staff at the lobby and parking lot were all kind and provided attentive service.     The breakfast was delicious and enjoyable, just as the reviews suggested. The menu felt like a lunch spread, featuring Isuzu bread, fresh vegetable salad, roast beef, and plenty of sweets. The restaurant's Christmas decorations were stylish and truly reflected Kobe's charm. After checking out, we visited the Christmas market at Nunobiki Mountain and were able to purchase discounted ropeway tickets at the front desk. The guest room was spacious and south-facing, providing a pleasant stay; however, I wonder if it might feel too warm during summer.

    The inability to adjust the room temperature and the presence of excessive dust were uncomfortable.

    I stayed at the accommodation, and while there was an air conditioning control panel in the room that seemed to allow temperature adjustments, it turned out that the entire building had centralized air conditioning, making it impossible to adjust the room temperature individually. This was honestly quite uncomfortable. When I requested a cooling fan, one was provided; however, in the heat, the soft airflow from a Dyson fan only circulated warm air around. Additionally, whether due to dust from the Dyson itself or from within the room, my throat became irritated. The room temperature was fixed at 25°C, so I don't believe my throat irritation came from overly cold air. I also considered using a humidifier but found that increasing humidity at 25°C only raised discomfort levels without suppressing dust effectively. After staying for two nights and realizing I couldn't adjust the temperature as needed, I regretted not checking out earlier...

    I stayed to try the highly-rated breakfast. The room is old, but the spacious and well-cleaned bathroom area, along with the simple interior design, made for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was elaborate and delicious, with the vegetables and roast beef being particularly outstanding. The colorful plates enhanced the presentation of the dishes, and there was a wide variety of desserts that left me very satisfied. I especially recommend the pudding and cheesecake. I would love to stay here again!

    A comfortable Hotel with thoughtful touches throughout

    This was my second stay, and this time I stayed in a higher-grade Room. The meals, staff service, and parking attendants were all to my liking, making my stay very comfortable. I believe the Room's interior design successfully balances cost-efficiency with creating a pleasant space. In particular, the breakfast venue and parking staff provided hospitable service that made the experience enjoyable. Long-term stays are also recommended. I plan to visit again.
