    New, clean, and compact.

    As the title says, it was clean overall and compact. The bed was comfortable. It’s in a great location near Gojo Subway Station and Karasuma-dori, making it easy to get around. However, it was disappointing that there didn’t seem to be any tea bags either in the Room or at the amenities bar. I boiled water, but…??

    Enjoy Thai Cuisine in Kyoto

    I booked a plan that included a 2nd-anniversary dinner and breakfast. For dinner, I chose a Thai course meal, and for breakfast, I selected porridge. Both were very delicious and satisfying. The seafood Yum Woon Sen, garlic fried chicken, and green curry at dinner were especially tasty. It would have been even better if the spiciness could be adjusted since some dishes were too spicy for me to finish. Also, it would be nice if wet towels were provided. The room was compact but clean. As mentioned in other reviews, the shower room felt cramped even for someone petite like me. I stayed in a twin room; while the beds were spacious enough, the overall room size was quite small. However, it wasn’t an issue since I only needed it for sleeping. There seemed to be many international guests staying at the hotel; the first-floor area was lively at night but surprisingly quiet inside my room with almost no outside noise. The location is between Shijo Station and Gojo Station—slightly closer to Gojo Station. It was an enjoyable hotel experience!

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night on a solo trip. The room size was perfect for one person, stylish, and conveniently located near Gojo Subway Station, which was great. However, the dinner experience was extremely disappointing. I booked a plan with two meals included and entered the restaurant exactly at 7:00 PM, but no food was served for 30 minutes. Around 7:30 PM, the staff who initially guided me to my table asked something like "When will your companion arrive?" This was very poor service as I had no companion; I was dining alone. The food itself was delicious, which made it all the more disappointing. Overall, I felt that this hotel has a low level of hospitality. It’s unfortunate because this hotel has so many good qualities.

    The location is betw...

    The location is between Gojo Station and Shijo Station, with excellent access to Kyoto Station and central areas like Karasuma Oike. Since the hotel is newly opened, the facilities are clean. Being Thai-owned, the interior features Thai motifs, and there are playful touches like nostalgic Japanese posters. The room is compact, but the lounge is spacious, and with so many places to visit in Kyoto, it's not an issue. If you are uncomfortable undressing in the toilet, you might want to be cautious. The only disappointment was that the TV did not support mirroring. I was looking forward to watching videos on the hotel's large screen... It's a nice point that you can choose breakfast from Thai, Western, and Japanese cuisine. I chose pho, and it was a gentle taste, perfect for the morning. Perhaps not well-known among Japanese yet, most guests were foreigners. I was very satisfied with the stay at such a reasonable price!

    The bathroom is extremely small.

    The Room only had a shower booth, but it was a hilariously cramped space that barely fit one person. The self-check-in system was baffling, requiring all items to be entered from scratch even for companions, leaving the front desk staff perplexed. If you think of it as a cultural difference in Thailand, you can come to terms with it. The Room and bed were clean and comfortable.

    About the ventilation in the room

    I was surprised by the dirt on the bathroom fan, but it was cleaned immediately, which was helpful. The soundproofing is excellent, but I feel the air circulation is a bit poor. The room was user-friendly and kept clean. The breakfast was very delicious, and I found the staff to be kind.
