    Activities (asobi)

    We enjoyed sea kayaking as a free activity, accompanied by an instructor, which made it safe and enjoyable. The Room was compact, but the terrace offered a stunning view of the ocean, making it perfect. We chose a breakfast-only Plan, and the food was delicious. Next time, we would love to try dinner as well.

    Booked for the third time after the second repeat.

    The accommodation offers a stunning ocean view, but the highlight is undoubtedly the amazing staff. Breakfast features ingredients from Goto, which adds a delightful touch. The Goto rice is cooked slightly firm, achieving a perfect balance. In 2024, guests could enjoy unlimited servings of Goto raw eggs and seasonings for tamago kake gohan (rice with raw egg), but unfortunately, this was discontinued by February 2025. While it may have been challenging to maintain financially, I sincerely hope for its return as the combination of rice, eggs, and seasonings was exceptional—one of the main reasons I chose to stay here again. Activities are mostly free and highly recommended; however, summer is undoubtedly the best time to visit the Goto Islands. The staff's friendliness and warm smiles made my stay even more memorable. This accommodation also offers car rental services or serves as a convenient base if you rent a car at the airport to explore destinations like GOTOJIN or enjoy church tours and beach activities nearby.

    A lovely Hotel with an ocean view

    Upon entering the lobby, you are greeted by a stunning view of the beautiful ocean beyond a stone dome-like structure. The high ceiling and open atmosphere of the lobby create an incredibly comfortable space, giving a sense of unity with the sea. The Room is not very spacious, but the ocean view from the terrace is spectacular. Dinner featured creative Mexican cuisine; while I found it slightly spicy as someone who isn't fond of spice, I enjoyed every dish made with local sweet vegetables and deliciously tender pork. The soup with Goto somen noodles served during dinner was truly delightful. The rice from Goto served at breakfast was sweet and tasty—I even had seconds! I also learned about the meaning behind Hotel Kararito's name and appreciated how efficiently and warmly the young staff worked. The large public bath connected to a semi-open-air bath offered relaxation while enjoying views of a bamboo garden—it was wonderfully warming. However, since only hairdryers were provided in the washroom area, having some lotion available would be much appreciated. As for the café closing at 4 PM, it felt rushed when checking in at 3 PM; extending its hours to 5 PM might be more convenient—though I understand this may not be feasible due to dinner preparations. This was my first trip to Goto Fukue Island, and it left me with wonderful memories—thank you for your hospitality! The cat on-site was adorable; although I couldn't pet them as much as I'd hoped, having cats around during travels is always soothing!

    The stay was very comfortable, although there were some rough edges as it was run by young people. Thank you very much for setting up a tent sauna just for me and for speaking to me during meals. The sound of the waves from the Room was also nice. The meals were very delicious, and the dinner was invigorating and appetizing.

    The food was very delicious!

    The creative Mexican cuisine for dinner was very delicious. Especially the pork with mole sauce! I want to eat it again. The steamed white fish wrapped in leaves was also tender and soft, with a nice aroma from the leaves. The view of the sea through the glass from the entrance was wonderful! The building was stylish. It seemed difficult to warm up with the large window glass and concrete. I'm sure it would be cool and comfortable in the summer. The room had a loft, but it was unfortunate that even after turning off the air conditioning, the loft retained heat and was hot. When the flight to Nagasaki was canceled due to maintenance issues, the staff kindly guided us to transfer to the jetfoil, and we were able to board safely. I stayed in January, but I would like to stay again leisurely in the summer.

    Completely Satisfied

    Kararito Goto Islands was the best Stays. The design of the building is sophisticated, and I think the cleaning is done carefully. The sea is also close, and the view from the Room is excellent. I made a Reservation for the tent sauna and cycling activities, and the staff were very nice, making for a very enjoyable time with lively conversation. The bath is also very clean. It is a very open space with a profound atmosphere. We had meals twice each for breakfast and dinner. It was the first time I looked forward to the next day's dinner at a Stays. The menu was expressed in pictures, and we had a lot of fun as a family, including the children, predicting the next menu. If I revisit the Goto Islands, I definitely want to stay here. It was truly a recommended Stays!! There are only 5 points, but I would like to give it 6 points.

    A property where you can stay without feeling formal.

    We couldn't make a dinner reservation, so we mostly cooked for ourselves in the evenings for all three days. However, it was enjoyable to have a kitchen in the maisonette and to explore the nearby supermarkets. It was surprisingly reasonable to stay, and I recommend self-catering. For those who want to dine at a restaurant, I recommend making a reservation early. Even if there are empty seats, it seems there is a capacity limit. Breakfast was served crisp and delicious! It was a bit inconvenient that amenities were not provided unless you went to get them, but if it's for the sake of nature, it's understandable.

    Enchanted by the Sea of Goto

    The young staff who love the island were lively and energetic, allowing us to enjoy the nature of Goto in a pleasant atmosphere. The Facility was clean and efficient, and the meals, made with local ingredients and creatively arranged by the chef, were all delicious. Listening to the sound of the waves on the terrace while enjoying a leisurely morning coffee was the best. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

    I was soothed by the ocean view.

    This time, I chose this Hotel for my first trip to Fukue Island in the Goto Islands! The Hotel is new, very clean, and stylish with an open feel, so much so that I couldn't help but take many photos! From the guest Room, I could enjoy an ocean view, and the pleasant breeze and sound of the waves were incredibly soothing! The Room I stayed in had only a shower, but the Hotel also has a large public bath, which was clean, spacious, and very satisfying! Dinner was Mexican cuisine using ingredients from Goto! It was innovative to combine Mexican culture with the history of Goto and express it through the dishes, and the food was very delicious, making the dinner time a very meaningful moment! I didn't use it this time, but it seems that various activities and experiences are available, so I would like to try them next time! It seems that rental cars are also available, which is very attractive! If you come to the Goto Islands, staying at Kararito is definitely a great choice!!

    It was wonderful.

    Unfortunately, it was raining, so we couldn't go to the beach, but the view of the sea from the room was very nice, and I would like to come again when the weather is good. The facility was also clean and nice. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying as well.
