    With its convenient ...

    With its convenient location right by the station, I was able to get there even in heavy rain without getting too wet. I have stayed at Hotel JAL City in Fukuoka before, so I had zero concerns about the Facility. By checking the Plan frequently, I think I was able to stay at a reasonable price. Although I didn’t dine there, the restaurant looked bright and spacious, which left a good impression. The reception service was smooth as well, and I would like to stay here again when visiting Toyama.

    This is a great, conveniently located Hotel.

    This is a clean Hotel with excellent convenience, located close to the station and car rental services. The Room is compact and well organized, with everything you need provided. I felt the quality of staff service varied depending on the person in charge. Overall, it was a straightforward, Business Hotel-style approach.

    The Hotel was very good, but the parking was...

    I stayed here after the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival. I arrived around 1:00 a.m., but the staff assisted me very politely. Breakfast was very delicious, though if I had to say something, I wished there were more options. My only complaint was that, perhaps due to the fireworks festival and because my car is a high-roof minivan, the Hotel parking lot was full and I had to park at a nearby coin-operated parking lot. There were quite a few coin-operated parking lots in the area, but likely because of the festival it was hard to find an available space, so it took some effort to search. For that reason, I rated the Facility/amenities and meals 4 stars. Overall, it was a good Hotel and I was satisfied. Thank you very much.

    Other than the Hotel itself being new.

    The front desk staff did not smile. At the shop’s self-checkout, the receipt was not printed (was the paper roll loaded incorrectly? You would normally run a test print after loading it). There was dust and buildup on the ventilation vent above the sink. There was no power outlet at the washbasin. At checkout, even though there were no other guests at the front desk, we were made to line up for self-checkout. The Room was spacious, with a large bed, quiet, and comfortable.

    Comfortable even for solo travelers! A brand-new Hotel with stylish details and complete satisfaction

    It’s not directly in front of the station, but it’s less than a 5-minute walk, and choosing this Hotel turned out to be absolutely the right decision. The Room is compact, but new and very clean. The stylish interior details and design, the separate bath and toilet, an unpacking rack, and a small sofa made it highly functional and very comfortable to stay in. I also appreciated being able to log into my own account on the TV to watch subscription streaming services. The view from the window was of a parking lot, but personally it didn’t bother me. The in-house Facilities are excellent as well—having “Kurobe no Megumi” water dispensers on every floor was especially convenient. You can fill the provided decanter and enjoy coffee with the Nespresso machine, or chill the water as-is for a refreshing drink when you wake up. There’s a smart shop in the lobby, and it was nice (and very fitting for a JAL-affiliated property) that they sold “Udon desu kai.” At night, the restaurant on the first floor can be used as a bar, and the staff were very friendly. Even staying solo, I felt completely at ease and enjoyed a relaxing time. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with everything. I’d definitely like to stay here again when visiting Toyama!

    A recommended Hotel for JAL fans

    We drove a rental car from Komatsu Airport to Toyama and checked in right away. There is a fully equipped parking lot, and the quality is quite high. It’s very close to the JR station, so you won’t have any trouble finding dinner or anything else. Breakfast is served buffet-style, with a better selection than average. You can earn miles with your stay, so this Hotel is highly recommended for JAL fans—excellent!

    Extremely quiet

    I stay here often. It’s very quiet and comfortable. The Room is clean, and the Facility is well maintained. Kurobe water is available on each floor, so I enjoy having coffee. They also kindly accommodated my request for a parking Reservation, which was a big help. I’d definitely like to stay again.

    Very comfortable.

    Hotel JAL City Toyama is very comfortable. The room was located near the corner by the elevator hall on the 6th floor, and although I stayed for two nights, it was quiet and I did not hear any noise at all. The windows cannot be opened, but the room is equipped with an air circulation system, so there were no unpleasant odors and a natural air environment was maintained with good ventilation. Small items I washed became almost half-dry overnight, and even in the morning the room did not feel overly dry. The room felt spacious enough without feeling cramped. An 11:00 checkout time is also reasonable. If I have another opportunity, I would definitely like to stay here again.

    It felt average for a Business Hotel.

    I chose this place for its location and price. It was comfortably fine overall, but when I try to evaluate it in detail, nothing in particular stands out as especially memorable. I was a little disappointed that there were no instructions for setting up the Wi-Fi and no water cups in the hallway.

    I’m so glad I chose the breakfast-included plan!

    Conveniently located near Toyama Station, making daytime shopping easy, and within walking distance of streets lined with restaurants—great options for dining out both day and night. The room was clean and comfortable with a separate bath and toilet, and the multi-charger was very helpful. The “Kurobe Water” was delicious too. At breakfast, the glossy rice was incredibly tasty, and there was a wide variety of Danish pastries. They were small enough to try every kind—and still go back for more—and they paired perfectly with the freshly brewed coffee from the machine each time. I was very satisfied. From salads to main dishes, fruit, cereal, and more, everything felt well balanced with nothing lacking or excessive. They also had masu-zushi (trout sushi), which made me happy. I usually don’t choose plans with breakfast included. But this time I’m glad I did! I’ll do it again next time!

    Issues with hospitality and service

    Conveniently located near the station, and the rooms and Facility are relatively new and satisfactory, but the staff’s attitude is terrible. At checkout, they were so unfriendly that when I thanked them, I was ignored.

    Not good value for money.

    The bathroom and washroom were clean and easy to use. The guest room was also well cleaned overall. However, there was a stain on the wallpaper near the pillow that looked like dried mucus, which really bothered me. Breakfast wasn’t particularly bad, but it wasn’t good enough to call “delicious.” Overall, I felt the value for the price was low, and it didn’t seem like a very cost-effective Accommodation.

    Your go-to Accommodation for business trips to Toyama

    I’ve decided this is my go-to Hotel for my stays in Toyama two or three times a month. Its convenient location near the station means the station building is close by, and there are convenience stores and reasonably priced parking nearby as well. The Room has excellent soundproofing, and aside from voices of guests talking in the hallway, there is hardly any noise from neighboring rooms or upstairs. The loungewear is a separate (two-piece) type, which is another plus because it makes it easy to relax in the Room. It’s a smart TV, so you can watch YouTube and won’t be left with nothing to do during quiet evenings. If I had to mention one drawback, since amenities became self-service recently, I’ve often encountered inconsiderate guests and ended up feeling uncomfortable. (If possible, I’d like it to go back to how it was.)

    It is clean.

    I’m a repeat guest. The Room is very clean, and the water available on each floor tastes great. The front desk staff were courteous and pleasant, and I would definitely like to stay again. I support your sustainability efforts, such as using toilet paper until the end, but during my Multiple Night Stay both rolls were already nearly empty to the same extent, so I had to go to the front desk to get more. That was a bit disappointing. I would appreciate it if you could consider an improvement.

    Simple and clean

    It’s not particularly special, but it’s a clean and comfortable Hotel.\nThis time I chose a bathroom with a washing area, but I felt it would have been better if there had been a wash basin and a chair.

    It was conveniently located near the station.

    The Hotel still seems fairly new, and the Room was clean and comfortable. However, while having the bath and toilet separate was nice, Bath 2 did not have a wash basin or shower chair, which made it a bit inconvenient to use. Also, there was no place to pull up a car at the Hotel entrance, which was inconvenient on rainy days or when carrying a lot of luggage.

    Very clean, with a nice bathroom and toilet.

    The bedroom, overall space, and the size of the bathroom and toilet were all excellent. The bed was spacious, the amenities were well stocked, and the location was perfect. It’s less than a 5-minute walk to the station. We parked our camper van behind the property and used it as our parking spot.

    Excellent breakfast.

    I chose this Hotel for the bath with a washing area and the appealing Toyama-style breakfast buffet. For breakfast, I enjoyed the special egg-over-rice, trout sushi, and firefly squid pickled in soy sauce. Everything was very delicious. When I told them my Room number, my seat was already assigned, so I was guided smoothly. The front desk staff were also kind and courteous. The tasty water dispenser near the elevators was convenient as well. I could even fill my own bottle before checkout. What disappointed me was the Room cleaning. There was dirt inside the bathtub (something like conditioner stuck to it), cup marks on the table (they came off when I wiped them), a noticeable stain on the carpet in front of the toilet, and an odor in the Room like kimchi. Since I was sightseeing, I only stayed in the Room at night, but it wasn’t comfortable.

    The Room interior is adorable! I loved the bathroom design.

    I stayed one night in a Superior Twin Room. The location is very convenient, with easy access from the station. The interior accents and pajamas featuring touches of red were charming, and the Room itself had a lovely modern design. The breakfast venue felt open and airy, and I was satisfied with the selection. I also appreciated being able to compare different types of trout sushi, and the croissants and pastries (such as pain aux raisins and pain au chocolat) were properly delicious. One concern was that the staff member who assisted me at check-in seemed unwell; their voice was hard to hear, and they coughed repeatedly. They were wearing a mask, but I would appreciate it if you could reconsider assigning someone who is not fully well to a front desk position with direct guest contact. In addition, there were a few areas where I felt the Room had not been cleaned thoroughly. It was not at an unacceptable level by any means, but it left me with the impression that cleaning might have been insufficient. (To note some minor details: dust had collected in corners around the bathroom door, the sink faucet did not appear to have been wiped cleanly, and dust on the accessory tray was noticeable.) Overall, it was a comfortable stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

    The JAL red used in ...

    The JAL red used in various places as points was stylish. The Room was clean, but one disappointing thing was the coffee stains left on the table where memo pads were placed. They came off when wiped, so it seemed to be an oversight. The front desk staff appeared to be a trainee and, although nervous, worked hard and left a good impression. I hope they continue to do their best. I would definitely like to use this place again when visiting Toyama.

    With family

    We reserved three rooms for a family visit after a long time. We greatly appreciated the consideration of placing us on the same floor. The front desk staff were very polite, and they even prepared a kids' stay set for our little ones, which made them very happy. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was spacious, and breakfast was served in a large area with plenty of options, allowing us to enjoy it together at ease. We would definitely like to use this service again!

    A wonderful Hotel you'll want to visit again

    This was my first stay at this accommodation, and I must say, among business hotels of the same rank, it stands out as exceptional. The location is excellent, being close to the station, making access very convenient. The hotel is new, clean, well-maintained, and features stylish interiors. The independent bath was a great touch, helping to relieve fatigue. The staff were all very pleasant, and the front desk service was particularly outstanding. The water from the water dispensers on each floor (Kurobe water) was delicious, and the pitcher provided in the room was very helpful. I booked a no-meals-included plan, but I had breakfast on the morning of my departure. Everything was truly delicious, and you could tell each dish was prepared with care. My favorites were the TKG and the fried fish paste. The bite-sized pieces were fluffy, with a hint of shiso flavor, and absolutely delightful. The cake I had at the café after sightseeing was also delicious. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel that I would love to revisit. If I have the chance, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you very much.

    Convenient to use

    A simple yet sophisticated Hotel. While there is a self-check-in machine, the staff provided courteous guidance, leaving a positive impression. I happened to use a universal room, which was conveniently located near the elevator. The spacious hallway design, low-positioned switches and outlets, and large bathroom were thoughtfully designed. It would be great if more people who need such features knew about it! It’s also convenient for stroller users or families with small children.

    We had a very enjoyable 2-night, 3-day stay. The location is close to the station, and there are many delicious restaurants nearby, making it hard to choose where to eat. However, one concern was finding three strands of hair on the toilet seat.

    Extremely affordable

    Simple Facility. Attentive and appropriate service that fulfills requests perfectly. Amenities designed with consideration for the environment and sustainability. A breakfast featuring locally sourced ingredients. Conveniently located near the station. A very comfortable and well-balanced Hotel, providing a highly satisfying stay. The connecting twin rooms were incredibly convenient for our family of four. We occasionally visit Toyama, and we would love to stay at this Hotel again in the future.
