    This is my favorite property.

    I stayed twice this month for photographing snowy Kyoto. This time, I had breakfast for the first time, and it was very delicious! The rice was especially tasty, and I was completely satisfied with the small bowls of obanzai and dessert. The stew made with chicken that had a fragrant charred surface—was the secret ingredient miso? It was very rich and delicious. (Sorry if I'm wrong) The location is excellent, and the free coffee is truly appreciated. I will stay again.

    Comfortable Hotel

    This was my first time using this property. It is a cozy and comfortable hotel. The staff were very accommodating, and there are restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel, so I opted for No Meals Included. It was great to be able to go up to the rooftop; the view was fantastic. I would love to stay again. By the way, check-in was at 3 PM, but thank you for allowing an early check-in. Even before my stay, I made an inquiry call and received courteous service that felt pleasant; also appreciated the directions given on my way back. Thank you very much indeed.

    Wonderful recommended Hotel

    It is a comfortable and recommended Hotel. The Room is clean, and the furnishings are tasteful and charming. Despite being located in a bustling city, the interior is enveloped in tranquility, making remote work productive. The bathroom has a spacious washing area, and the bathtub is large enough to stretch your legs, alleviating work fatigue. Even without much heating, the Room was warm and comfortable. The surrounding area is lined with many restaurants and shops, and a loft is nearby, making it a convenient location for shopping. Although I did not use the breakfast service, it looked delicious, so I plan to try it next time. The front desk staff are friendly, and the Hotel has a refined quietness and charm, making it a high-quality and recommended Hotel.

    The property exceeded expectations.

    Although I couldn't imagine what it would be like since the bath and toilet are separate, the functional layout made it feel not cramped at all. The bathtub is large, and the amenities include basic skincare products, plus the pajamas are separate top and bottom, which was nice. The location is excellent, and I would definitely like to visit again.

    I missed the last tr...

    I missed the last train and urgently needed to find a place to stay, so I ended up here. The response from the front desk staff reminded me of human kindness after a long time. The room with a Taisho romantic feel, the comfortable bed, and the separate bath made the morning shower extremely pleasant. I would like to repeat my stay. Thank you very much.

    Excellent access, perfect as a travel base.

    I was looking for a Hotel with good access and was attracted by the retro interior, so I stayed. The access was as convenient as I expected, and since it was just off the main street, it was very quiet. There are plenty of restaurants around, so I had no trouble finding meals. There was a free flow of coffee and tea available in front of the front desk. It was available until around 21:30 at night, and I was able to relax while drinking warm coffee in my Room. The Room had a retro design, and although compact, it was very user-friendly and I was able to spend my time comfortably. The separate bath and toilet allowed me to stretch my legs and take a bath, which was appreciated in the cold winter. The rooftop was open, and I was able to enjoy an unobstructed view. It felt like a waste to just use it as a base for my trip, and I wished I could have spent more time there. I will use it again.

    It was comfortable in a cute Room.

    I was attracted by the atmosphere of the room and decided to stay. It had the retro feel I expected, yet it was user-friendly and well-cleaned, which was great. I also had breakfast. I entered about 20 minutes before the end of reception (reception ends 30 minutes before the end of breakfast), and there were several items that were running out. A few people came in after me, but there were no refills. I saw someone give up on getting more rice as there was no refill. I understand there might be concerns about food waste, but I would appreciate a little more consideration. This time, I was not present during the hours to enjoy drinks and the bar, so I would like to use those facilities next time.

    Fully satisfied with breakfast.

    The room was on the second floor of the lower floors, but perhaps because it was cold in December, there was no outside noise, and I was able to sleep peacefully. The facilities felt well-used, but they were kept clean. Up to this point, it was quite ordinary, but the breakfast had a wide variety, offering both Japanese and Western dishes, which was very satisfying. There were also many types of desserts to enjoy. Moreover, the location was excellent, with many dining options around, allowing us to experience the lively atmosphere of the tourist area, which was a great bonus. We checked out early and took a walk along the Kamo River, where we unexpectedly encountered a variety of birds, providing an unexpected experience with nature. Kyoto is indeed wonderful!

    Unfortunately,

    I wondered if they forgot to clean the toilet? I thought so. I wanted to use the toilet immediately after checking in, so I cleaned it myself before using it. I was surprised when the water from the bathtub overflowed to the toilet side. It seems the drain wasn't cleaned, as it was clogged. I regretted my decision since it was a Multiple Night Stay.

    I am a repeat guest.

    As always, it was great in terms of cleanliness, quietness, and convenience. However, there was a half-drunk paper cup of coffee left on the table where the newspaper (morning edition) was placed, so I think the staff needs to pay more attention to areas beyond just the front desk. The impression of cleanliness diminishes, so I believe individual attentiveness is necessary. This hasn't happened before, so it's important to maintain a diligent attitude.

    A small boutique hotel with a great location

    This is my second stay following my visit about half a year ago. The location is very convenient for transportation, with the subway, Hankyu line, and buses all nearby. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance, yet the area is quiet and has a quaint, stylish atmosphere that I like. This time, I stayed for three nights with my wife. The room is small, but the bathroom and toilet are clean, which satisfied my wife. I noticed for the first time that there is no internal phone in the room, so there is no morning call service. We had to use the alarm clock in the room, but its time-setting function was off. My wife went to the front desk to ask if there was a replacement clock, but in the end, we arranged to have someone knock on our door the next morning. The next morning, we were already awake, but as promised, there was a knock at 7 o'clock. However, considering that the bathroom is equipped with a ReFa shower head, hairdryer, and even beauty devices like curlers and steamers, wouldn't it be reasonable to have a spare alarm clock available at the front desk?

    As always, it was good. In terms of accessibility, quietness, and cleanliness.

    I was satisfied with everything. Previously, when staying for two nights, I received two cans of water as a gift, but this time it was only one can. It was a bit disappointing, but it doesn't change my overall impression. I have booked a two-night stay in December, so I wonder what will happen then?!
