    The room is dim and ...

    The room is dim and has a calm, relaxing atmosphere, but it makes it difficult to apply makeup. (I would appreciate it if the lighting were a bit brighter and adjustable.) That’s my only concern—everything else was excellent. I would love to stay again.

    We stay here once a ...

    We stay here once a year for our family trip to Takayama (this was our third visit). We love the lounge service where we can enjoy alcoholic drinks, and we bring our own snacks and spend relaxing time together. One concern we notice every year is footwear etiquette among some international guests. Every year, we see people wearing outdoor shoes all the way into the large public bath changing area, and we speak to them about it. We really love this property, so if manners could be improved, we think it would make the stay even more comfortable.

    Although it is a bit...

    Although it is a bit far from the station, it was very convenient for exploring Takayama. Check-out is at 10:00, but the parking lot can be used until 12:00. The property was clean, and the service was casual and friendly. There were many international guests—so many that there seemed to be fewer Japanese guests. In the large public bath, some overseas guests with tattoos were using it as usual, so the rules may differ from those of a typical Japanese Onsen Ryokan. There are only four washing stations, and both the men’s and women’s areas are small. Overall, I am satisfied.

    A Hotel located in a historic streetscape

    This Hotel is located in a historic streetscape and is very conveniently situated. We were able to use a nearby restaurant for dinner, and the parking lot was also conveniently located in the adjacent building. In the evening, we enjoyed complimentary sake tasting, beer, and soft drinks in the lobby. We also had the breakfast we had reserved in the lobby. It was a bento made with local Takayama ingredients, but it would have been even better if it had been served warm. There were many international guests, mainly from Europe and North America, and breakfast seemed to accommodate halal and vegetarian options. It was clean, the service was excellent, and overall it was a great Hotel.

    It was wonderful.

    The staff were kind, warm, and made the accommodation very relaxing. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

    Japanese guests are welcome.

    I stayed at a Hotel in Takayama city for single use. Most of the guests were foreigners, and I didn’t encounter any Japanese people. The staff were also foreigners. There was no TV, but I didn’t feel inconvenienced. The mattress was very comfortable, and I slept well until morning. What I liked the most was the slippers—they were excellent!

    Back in Takayama for the first time in 12 years

    I stayed here during my long-awaited solo trip to Takayama. The Hotel is located just one street behind the old town, and there’s a convenience store right next door—an excellent location. I also enjoyed the sake tasting at the Hotel; it was a great idea, and I even stopped by the brewery of the sake I liked and bought some. It was very relaxing. I only realized after checking in that my Room didn’t have a TV, and personally I would prefer to have one. Breakfast in the morning was beautifully presented and delicious. It became a wonderful travel memory. All of the staff provided excellent service. Thank you very much.

    It was wonderful.

    This was my second stay, and it's one of the hotels I want to repeat. I am completely satisfied with the location, facilities, service, and breakfast. The parking lot is a bit far, but they provide shuttle service, and it's a pleasant walking distance. The staff at the front desk, lounge, and breakfast are all very kind, making it a wonderful hotel. Thank you very much.
