    Hotel located within the Kofu Castle grounds

    Conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from the station. Exit Kofu Station on the left side, take the road before Yodobashi Camera, and you’ll find it beyond the overpass. The top floor features a public bath area with a museum-like atmosphere where you can learn about the history of Kofu Castle, making it an enjoyable experience. There is also an observation deck where you can view Kofu Castle from above, including a clear view of its main keep platform. The interior design of the Hotel is stylish and resembles that of a designer hotel. Guest Rooms: Compact yet functional. Public Bath: There is a sauna but no cold bath available. While there is water provided for pouring with ladles, splashes may occasionally reach those in the open-air bath. The artificial bird sounds used as pest control can feel slightly noisy at times. Additionally, frosted glass used as privacy screens in the open-air bath obstructs what could have been great views (though standing up offers some visibility). Breakfast: The taste is excellent overall; however, this time there was no miso-marinated grilled pork loin that was previously offered—a dish worth visiting this Hotel for alone! Its return would be highly appreciated. Many dishes are served in small bowls covered with plastic wrap, which feels inconvenient to remove—especially for salads where tightly wrapped coverings make them appear flattened. It would be preferable if salads were self-serve like at other hotels rather than continuing COVID-era practices. Check-in and check-out can be completed via lobby terminals or assisted by front desk staff if needed. While such systems are becoming common in Business Hotels, they may feel somewhat impersonal to some guests.

    The washbasin area was too small.

    As a Business Hotel, the service level is relatively high, but the sink area is far too small with no space to place amenities! Having stayed at dozens of places, this is my first time experiencing such a design. This significantly lowered my satisfaction level. Poor design. While the public bath and narrow shower-only bathroom are acceptable, the sink area should have been at least 10 centimeters wider.

    This was my first time staying here. I had high expectations due to the good reviews, but I was disappointed with the cleanliness. The room's air conditioner was full of dust, so I had to open the window and endure it. The mirrors in the women's large bath area were covered with scale-like stains and were completely unclear. There was a lot of dust on the walls near the sink, and many hairs were scattered on the tatami mats. It would be great if more effort could be put into cleaning. However, the staff's service was excellent.

    The Room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained, making it very comfortable. The view from the Room was also amazing. I would love to stay here again.

    Delicious!

    This is my second stay, visiting Yamanashi from Yokohama. The accommodation is relatively new, so everything is very clean. Having bottled water in the room is a great touch. The open-air bath and sauna on the 13th floor are delightful. Checking in at 3 PM and heading straight to bathe meant it was almost empty, and around midnight, I had it all to myself—something you can't experience at larger facilities. Soaking alone in the open-air bath with the night breeze felt extraordinary. I ended up bathing four times in total! The sound of wind chimes after leaving the onsen added a lovely touch. Last month, my husband and I stayed at a local onsen in Yugawara but only bathed twice there. Compared to that, this hotel makes me want to enjoy bathing more often! It's also helpful that you can check the bath's crowd status on your room's TV. The breakfast was served hygienically with small portions in individual bowls covered with plastic wrap—impressive attention to detail despite how much effort it must take! Everything tasted great: from hamburg steak to mini dorayaki and even quiche—it was all delicious. For just over 10,000 yen per night, this level of service is incredible. If I may point out one downside: cleanliness of the large public bath could be improved slightly, and some front desk staff lacked smiles. Still, I'm hopeful these will improve someday... I'll definitely come back again!

    First Time in Kofu City

    The location was convenient as it was close to the station. The Room was clean, and the breakfast was very delicious. If I may add, having tomato juice and honey would have been perfect. The Room was slightly small, but it should not be an issue for couples or families. There were power outlets next to the bed, making it easy to charge mobile phones without any trouble. There are many bars and restaurants nearby, which made it very convenient. I would love to stay here again. Thank you!

    Perfect for solo travelers in Kofu

    I stayed here alone on a weekday during my trip to Kofu. The entire Hotel was impressively clean. While the facility is relatively new, it’s clear that the staff regularly maintain and clean it thoroughly. I chose a breakfast-included Plan, and the dining area was spacious and relaxing. The food was frequently replenished, with plenty of variety, and many items were individually portioned for easy access. Check-in and check-out were done via machines, so I cannot comment on staff service this time; however, my stay was completely stress-free. If I had one suggestion, it would be to provide towels in the large public bath area—it would make the experience perfect!

    I used this accommod...

    I used this accommodation for the first time upon a recommendation from a colleague during a business trip. It is within walking distance from Kofu Station, and the room I stayed in had a view overlooking the platform. The onsen on the top floor, separated by gender, was very relaxing. There were both open-air and indoor baths, and although I didn’t use it, there was also a sauna available. The women’s bath required a security card for entry, which made me feel secure. I initially booked without breakfast but was able to purchase a breakfast ticket at the front desk in the morning and enjoy it. This time, I chose Western-style dishes at the buffet such as bread and other items; everything was delicious and satisfying. Next time, I’d like to try Japanese-style options!

    All Inspiring

    The location is excellent. The entire facility, including the Room, is meticulously maintained. The large public bath offers a genuine atmosphere with a view of the main castle tower. I was also satisfied working leisurely in the lobby with Wi-Fi after check-out. Perfect score!

    It felt new and clean.

    Single room with a view of the area below the window as soon as you open the door, though the room felt slightly narrow. Breakfast was fine, and there were no issues with the Facility. The bed had a smartphone charging port, and the desk was spacious yet compact and functional. I did not use the Onsen as I arrived late. Conveniently located near the station with parking available. There are self-check-in and check-out machines, making it easy for busy business travelers to use. The staff at reception were accurate and polite, but their explanations were somewhat brief, which left some concerns in certain areas.

    Very satisfied.

    It was a lovely hotel located in a corner of the castle. There were many staff members, and they were polite, allowing for a relaxed check-in experience. The free drink selection of juices was abundant and very delicious. I would love to stay here again when visiting Kofu.

    Always a comfortable stay in Kofu.

    Conveniently located near the station with many restaurants nearby. The Rooms are clean, and the beds at Shiro no Hotel provide a great night's sleep. The wine selection in the lounge changes every time, allowing guests to enjoy a variety of wines.

    I stayed here for a business trip and found it conveniently located near the station with polite and attentive staff. The lobby is accessible from check-in time until around midnight. While there aren't many seats, soft drinks are available as free drinks, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. As for the Onsen, it seems to be transported by truck. Perhaps because of this or its natural state, the water temperature is on the cooler side. Those who prefer hot Onsen might not find it ideal, but during summer or after a long day, it could feel just right for relaxation. However, the shower pressure was quite weak. Additionally, I couldn't find facial wash in the large communal bath area; perhaps it was available in the lobby instead. Overall, I was satisfied except for some aspects of the bathing Facility (e.g., shower). The meals looked delicious too—next time I stay here, I'd like to try their breakfast option!

    Enjoy Onsen, sauna, Mount Fuji, and wine to the fullest!

    During my previous visit to Kofu, I had wanted to stay here. The room was clean, minimalistic, and well-maintained, offering great value for money! The Onsen had a silky texture and high quality, perfect for relaxation. The ladies' room even provided a ReFa device, which was a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the Kofu area!

    If I had to say.

    I always have a very comfortable stay whenever I use this Hotel. The amenities and breakfast are worth more than the price. However, if I had to point out one downside, it would be the parking situation. Parking in front of the Hotel is not allowed (I'm not sure who is permitted to park there), and the parking areas behind the Hotel or at the multi-story parking lot diagonally across are often full. While there is a spacious parking lot beyond the station, it requires quite a bit of walking. Personally, I wish that during times when I'm experiencing physical discomfort, such as gout pain in my feet, I could be allowed to park in front of the Hotel. Other than that, my stay has been very pleasant overall. The reduction in stars for Facility and satisfaction reflects this issue with parking.

    We stayed at the accommodation as a family for my son's job placement. It was perfect! The place was very clean. The free drinks were a nice touch, and the large public bath was relaxing and excellent. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying. Sending him off from this hotel became a memorable experience for us.

    Everything is just right, and a hotel where you can enjoy wine.

    This was my second stay, and I arrived late again this time. I was reassured by the courteous guidance, as they had checked my previous stay record. Perhaps because it was late, the large public bath was not very crowded, and I was able to warm up comfortably under the night sky. After that, I went to the wine tasting, which I couldn't do last time. The lounge was quiet and had a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere, and I understood why it was reasonably used by guests. I purchased two glasses of wine, poured different wines into each glass, and enjoyed them in the room. The room is compact but has a sofa table, making it a convenient layout, which is sufficient. Breakfast was served in small bowls, making it easy to pick up, with a wide variety of dishes, including Yamanashi specialties, allowing me to taste a little of everything. The grape vinegar drink was very delicious and revitalized my body. Although I couldn't stay long this time either, I was able to enjoy Yamanashi compactly with the bath, wine, and breakfast! Thank you very much.

    Second time

    This is my second stay. The place is well-cleaned, allowing for a comfortable and worry-free stay. It is conveniently located near the station, providing excellent access. My husband seems to really enjoy the breakfast.

    A Business Hotel with Onsen, perfect for a short stay near the station.

    The location was easy to navigate even for someone like me who gets lost easily, especially for my first time at Kofu Station. A large, comfortable bed. A humidifying air purifier. The rooftop Onsen with a great view was accessible with a card key, which felt secure. The Room wear included pants with pockets and buttons at the chest. At night, I relaxed with delicious Yamanashi wine and tasty cheese (available for a fee). Soft drinks were complimentary. You could check the crowd levels at the bath and breakfast from your Room before heading out. The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a variety of local dishes like wine curry and hoto. The amenities were well-stocked, though the toothbrush was a bit hard, so I regretted not bringing my own. Check-out was smooth and quick with the machine. While it was slightly more expensive than the surrounding Hotels, it was absolutely worth it! I would have given a perfect score, but I had to deduct one star due to some issues at the check-in counter. A young staff member forgot to hand me the card key for the women’s Onsen (did I not look like a woman? Haha) and there was a lack of explanation. I hope for improvement in the future. If I stay in Kofu again, I would definitely consider this Hotel.

    Clean Room

    I suddenly had to go to Kofu and made a reservation with a plan that leaves the type of room to the hotel on the day. As mentioned in other reviews, the room is small (you can't fully open a suitcase), but it was very clean and comfortable.

    It was perfect for use at the end of the year.

    Everywhere at the end of the year, prices go up, and after looking around, I found this Hotel to be affordable with great staff service. I was very satisfied with the quality of the large bath. Being close to the station, I didn't feel any inconvenience for dinner. The comfort of the bedding was also very satisfying!! I would like to use it again next time. Thank you very much.

    Deterioration of the...

    Deterioration of the mirror in the large public bath. When the water temperature in the bathtub rose, I saw debris floating up from the bottom, which made me wonder if that was the cause of the water's cloudiness. Considering hygiene, I will not be repeating my stay. It's a shame about the bath, especially since everything else was good.

    New and functional

    The impression from the people I interacted with, perhaps due to the nature of the locals, allowed me to spend my stay with a calm feeling. The lounge, equipped with free drinks available until midnight, and the provision of paid alcohol without skimping on snacks, was also good. The breakfast exceeded expectations in terms of content, and I wished I could have had more if I had room in my stomach. Many rooms only have showers, and the Onsen had a chlorine smell, but I think it's unavoidable due to the Facility. The convenience is also good, and it's a Hotel I would like to use again.

    The parking fee is +1000 yen, but it feels fair, and I think it's good. The staff are pleasant, and I am satisfied with the breakfast, room, large bath, and price. The room is inevitably small, so the TV feels close, and I switched to reading. The book rental is nice too.

    The room size is quite small. Therefore, it feels overpriced, but considering the location and onsen, the satisfaction level is high. I used the lobby, and the hotel staff were very kind, which also increased the satisfaction of my friends who stayed with me. I would like to use it again on my next visit.
