    Request for loungewear made from natural materials.

    This was my second stay at Tokyu Stay. Overall, I was almost completely satisfied, but there is one issue. The room wear is very uncomfortable and unbearable to wear. Since the material is not natural, it sticks to the body and traps sweat. While I could bring my own, I prefer to travel with minimal luggage. If you could provide natural material options for an additional fee, I would love to continue using your accommodation regularly. As someone who travels light, having a washing machine in the room is extremely helpful. It's also great that the room wear can be used at the spa. I kindly ask you to consider improving the room wear situation. Thank you!

    Great location and view.

    I stayed one night in a twin room on the 16th floor. The room wasn't very spacious, but it had a harbor view with a great view of Mashu Maru. The Onsen on the 18th floor had an open-air bath where I could relax while enjoying the ocean view, which helped relieve my travel fatigue. The ReFa hairdryer was easy to use. It would be even better if hair oil was provided among the amenities in the changing area. Guests need to bring towels from their room to the Onsen, but since there are only bath towels and face towels available, using a wet towel for hands and face back in the room is inconvenient. It would be nice if Onsen-specific towels were provided like at other hotels. Despite being high season, it was reasonably priced and conveniently located near Hakodate Station and next to Morning Market. I’d love to stay here again when visiting Hakodate. I also recommend trying out the gelato shop on the lobby floor!

    The Perfect Hotel for a Multiple Night Stay

    In July, we went on a family trip to Hakodate with my daughter's family, staying for 3 nights in a total of 3 rooms: two Luxury Twin Rooms and one High-Floor Twin Room. It was an amazing Hakodate stay for us. The Luxury Twin Rooms were fantastic, featuring Onsen and offering great views. One of the highlights of this Hotel is that each room is equipped with a washer-dryer. We did laundry every night, which allowed us to pack minimally. My daughter and her husband, who have two young children, were also very satisfied. The Hotel staff were extremely friendly and kind. Breakfast consisted mainly of seafood from the morning market. While preferences may vary regarding this type of breakfast, my grandchildren seemed to enjoy it immensely as they had fun chatting with the local vendors at the market in the morning. I would like to note that since this Hotel is categorized as a Business Hotel, it does not offer services typically found in Resort Hotels. This is something worth keeping in mind. Overall, we are very satisfied and deeply grateful to all the staff at the Hotel. Thank you very much!

    A very convenient Ho...

    A very convenient Hotel for sightseeing. The building is visible, so it was easy to find without getting lost. For laundry, bringing a laundry net was helpful.

    It's great to have a washing machine in the Room.

    This was my first stay at the accommodation. The location is excellent, within a 5-minute walk from Hakodate Station, and with no tall buildings around, the view from the room on the 12th floor was fantastic. The room also had a washing machine, which was very convenient for doing laundry before heading home. The open-air bath on the top floor offered great views as well, allowing me to relax while enjoying sights like Mashu Maru and JR Hakodate Station. However, one disappointing point was that food and drink remnants were left on tables in the lounge located one floor below the open-air bath. Although it was outside business hours, no one came to clean up, which felt like a missed opportunity for such a lovely lounge space.

    The Onsen was clean and wonderful.

    The washroom was clean. The shower nozzle was good, but the Room's power outlets had accumulated dust, and the bathroom ventilation was poor. Upon checking the fan, it was clogged with dust.

    The location and room facilities are excellent.

    Close to the morning market and Hakodate Station, the in-room washer-dryer is also convenient. Breakfast is chosen from a set menu at designated stores in the morning market, but none are particularly satisfying.

    Convenient and clean.

    I did not use the Onsen (even though it is marked as 1). The room and lobby were both great. There was a washing machine and microwave, and I would like to make better use of them if I have another opportunity. I did use the washing machine. Above all, it is very affordable and has a great location.

    We stayed for 3 nights. The location is convenient, being close to the station and ideal for sightseeing. The staff were all friendly and kind. Even if we opted out of room cleaning, used towels left hanging were replaced, which was very helpful. Having a free coffee maker in the lobby and lounge was great; we could enjoy coffee after returning from breakfast at the morning market. A few points of concern: - There was a dishwashing sponge under the sink, but it was soaking wet even though it seemed new out of the package. - Perhaps due to water usage in other Rooms? The drainage part in the mini-kitchen made rattling noises, possibly due to water or air pressure changes. It startled us with loud sounds during the night. - On our first night, when using the washing machine for drying clothes, an error occurred midway through drying and it stopped working properly throughout our stay despite cleaning its filter as best as we could with tools like toothbrushes. Since we chose a Room with a washing machine to minimize luggage, we had no choice but to dry clothes indoors without sufficient space or hangers available—this caused some inconvenience. It might be good to conduct thorough checks on Room Facilities moving forward!

    Popular among international guests

    The facility seems to attract many international guests. When I visited the large public bath, I only heard conversations in Chinese. It was unpleasant to see some guests changing clothes in the dressing room while still wearing their indoor slippers. The lounge was also noisy with international visitors, making it difficult to relax, which was disappointing.

    Tokyu Stay Repeater

    Tokyu Stay is available in other regions, but this was our first time using it in Hakodate. The Room was clean and equipped with a washer-dryer, which was very convenient for families with children. Additionally, the ReFa showerhead and hairdryer provided a high level of satisfaction. For breakfast, we enjoyed being able to choose freely from multiple stores early in the morning. The price is affordable, making it highly recommended for those who prioritize cost performance.

    Amazing rooftop open-air bath!

    The open-air bath on the top floor is amazing. The water temperature is slightly high, but it perfectly matches the cool outdoor air, and the steam blends beautifully with Hakodate's night view. During my stay, I was lucky to see a luxurious foreign cruise ship docked right in front of the pier. Also, breakfast at Hakodate Morning Market was fantastic—the seafood rice bowl was delicious. Everything was perfect. I definitely want to visit again!

    Best value for money

    Honestly, I didn't expect much due to the low price. However, since it's a compact hotel, there were no large groups of guests! It was quiet and comfortable! The Onsen on the top floor offered a stunning view of the sea, islands, mountains, and cityscape as I entered before sunset. The hairdryer provided after bathing was from ReFa, which made drying stress-free. Some accommodations still have old hairdryers that take forever to dry hair, so this thoughtful touch was appreciated. I also used the washing machine in the room, which reduced my laundry load after returning home.

    Solo Trip to Hakodate by Shinkansen

    The view from the bath was amazing, and I ended up using it three times even though I stayed for just one night. I enjoyed a relaxing time while looking at the sea and Mount Hakodate from the Room. I would love to stay at this Hotel again.

    It was great.

    The room was very clean and comfortable to use. The sleepwear provided was not a yukata but a two-piece set, which was very comfortable and allowed for a good night's sleep. I chose the breakfast-included option, and there were several partner restaurants within the morning market to choose from. I enjoyed fresh seafood and was very satisfied. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance.

    A bit disappointing...

    I had been wanting to visit this place near the station, so I went with a friend and booked two rooms. The large public bath was smaller than expected, more like a medium-sized bath. During peak season, there might not be enough washing stations and sinks, so I was glad it wasn’t busy. The other compact room didn’t have mineral water provided, which felt unfair and surprising (it’s disappointing that even something as small as mineral water wasn’t included). The onsen in the room was very relaxing. However, one thing that bothered me was an older female staff member at the front desk who gave me an unpleasant glare for some reason—it didn’t leave a good impression.

    Luxurious yet affordable

    Luxurious yet affordable. The Room has a washing machine, eliminating the hassle of waiting for laundry and ensuring comfort. There is also a large public bath where you can relax, and the location is excellent. Highly recommended. I would love to stay again.

    We are sorry.

    This was my first stay. As a Diamond member of IKYU and a member of a certain overseas hotel, I have stayed at many hotels. The following were disappointing: 1. In the Onsen bath, there were small algae or debris floating around, which was not clean and felt unpleasant. 2. The lounge was supposed to be available until 10 PM according to the information provided, but when I visited at 9 PM, the coffee machine was being cleaned, and after cleaning was completed, a sign stating "service until 9 PM" was placed. Shouldn't it be informed that usage is only until 9 PM? I am very dissatisfied with this response from a Hotel bearing the Tokyu name. For these reasons, I will never stay again.

    Enjoyed Hakodate, made the stay easy, and was able to relax.

    The view and comfort in the lounge and room, as well as going out to nearby restaurants for breakfast, greatly enhanced the satisfaction of the experience. Thanks to this, I was able to have a very meaningful and fulfilling mini-life in Hakodate. *The evaluation of the bath on the top floor is due to the lack of user manners and consideration, concerns about chlorine disinfection, and the desire for a more spacious bathtub for relaxation.

    Fun New Year's Birthday Trip

    During this trip to Hokkaido, I celebrated the New Year and my birthday in Hakodate. The hotel offers excellent cost performance, especially with a room equipped with a washing machine and microwave, making it very convenient for long stays. Additionally, the hotel's bathhouse is wonderful, with the open-air bath offering a view that was very relaxing. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay at this hotel.

    Breakfast service

    This Hotel did not have a restaurant, and it was the type where you buy a breakfast voucher and choose a shop at the Hakodate Morning Market to eat. The meal voucher could be used until after noon, and the mini three-color rice bowl I ate at the chosen shop was delicious. The Room was an ordinary Business Hotel, but it was conveniently located near the station and the morning market.

    I was told that there was no lost item, but...

    I wrote a Review for the first time. I called on the day of checkout about a forgotten item, but was told it wasn't there. It's not a big deal, but I wonder how that could be. The bath and Room were clean, but I won't use it again due to concerns about security.
