    I used the breakfast buffet, but

    I had heard this Hotel was highly rated in business Hotel breakfast rankings, so I had high expectations, but unfortunately it was disappointing. The reasons were: 1) The only drinks available were the kind of all-you-can-drink juice dispensers you find at family restaurants. It would have been nice to have real fruit juice in pitchers. Health-conscious options are important for everyone, regardless of nationality, age, or gender. 2) Having only one soup option—chilled vichyssoise—was questionable. It would have been nice to also have something warm, like corn soup. 3) There wasn’t a standout local specialty dish. I think the experience would feel more special if you actively featured and introduced more products from local companies within the prefecture. I didn’t use dinner here so I can’t comment on it, but I believe many guests use the breakfast buffet more than dinner, so I’d like to see more effort and budget put into it overall. Everything other than the breakfast buffet was good, which made it even more disappointing. Normally we leave a buffet feeling full, but neither my companion nor I did this time.

    Wonderful!

    The front desk service, the cleanliness of the Room, and the quality of breakfast were all excellent. I would like to stay here again.

    The layout change has made it very difficult to use...

    I’ve been using this Hotel for about a year and a half, and this was the first time the breakfast buffet layout was changed. Honestly, it has become much harder to use. Of course this is partly my personal impression, but I felt it was unreasonable that the dressings were placed opposite to the overall flow, and that items like yogurt—which aren’t necessarily in high demand—were placed along the main circulation route. There may be some operational reasons on the Hotel’s side, but since this first change left a very negative impression, I wanted to share my honest feedback.

    Thank you very much for your kind support.

    This was our first stay. My wife, who is very particular about everything, said, “This Room is comfortable, so we’ll be fine,” and even wanted to cancel the other Hotels we had planned. We were wondering what to do for a four-week Hotel stay during our home renovation, so we consulted the front desk. Despite being busy, they kindly helped us, and as a result we changed our plans and stayed long-term. The breakfast selection was extensive, and my wife—who rarely eats out due to food allergies and usually has to cook for herself—enjoyed it every morning without getting tired of it. The lounge, the Onsen, and the parking were all excellent as well, and every staff member was very courteous. When we mentioned a concern about cleaning, they responded immediately. We are truly grateful that our long stay went smoothly. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

    Staying During Extreme Heat

    The Room was quiet and clean. We stayed during an extremely hot day, and the Room was very warm. We turned on the air conditioner right away, but it took a long time to cool down, which was disappointing.

    My friend was very satisfied.

    A friend came to visit, so I made a Reservation at this well-reviewed Hotel and had them stay here. They were happy with both the bath and breakfast, and said it was a very comfortable Hotel.

    The service was not what I expected.

    This was my first trip to Shizuoka and my first time staying at this Hotel, and the staff member at the parking lot reception was very kind, which put me at ease even before check-in. The large public bath had the most spacious washing area I have ever seen in a Hotel, and the bathtub was also large, so I could relax comfortably. Breakfast the next morning offered a wide variety of both Western and Japanese dishes, which surprised me. I was very satisfied.

    A bit disappointing.

    Although it was only a one-night stay, the Room, breakfast, and large public bath were all very good. I had asked in advance about dining options around the Hotel, so I really appreciated that you prepared a map for me. However, since I stayed on Wednesday, many places were closed, and I had wanted to eat oden at Aoba Oden Street, so that was a little disappointing. I would like to stay again, and I look forward to visiting next time.

    Clean guest room

    I checked in late at night, so it was a shame I couldn’t fully enjoy the Room, but it was very clean and comfortable. Next time, I’d like to stay and relax.

    When I left my lugga...

    When I left my luggage in the morning before check-in, the reception staff were not very friendly and did not smile. I was also disappointed that the coffee and cafe latte in the lounge were very weak. I guess it can’t be helped since they are free. Overall, I was satisfied and would like to stay again.

    A clean, great-value Hotel

    A leisurely trip from Osaka to explore Mt. Fuji. We arrived a day early and searched on Sunday for a good-value Hotel in Shizuoka City, and chose this one. It’s a functional, no-frills, very clean Hotel that works well for both business and sightseeing. The front desk service was great, and the breakfast staff were also polite and attentive. What surprised me most was how courteous the parking attendant was. It was my first time experiencing that level of service, and I was genuinely impressed. I would appreciate it if the top-floor Onsen were a bit larger for a Hotel of this size.

    I mentioned that I have difficulty walking, but…

    The meals were delicious, and the bath was an Onsen, which felt wonderful. The guest room was also a comfortable Room, and I had a very pleasant three-day stay. However, I informed you by phone that I have difficulty with my legs and lower back, but the person who answered sounded very cold and told me it was close to the parking garage so I could walk. Having to stand while moving the car in and out was extremely painful for me. You may not realize it, but please understand that some people find even standing for a short time or walking difficult. The parking staff were kind, so it was disappointing that only the person who answered the front desk phone left such a negative impression.

    Elderly guests with limited mobility can stay here with peace of mind.

    I’ve stayed here several times and am familiar with the guidelines for staying, and it’s a Hotel where you can feel at ease even when traveling with an elderly person who has difficulty walking. Personally, I recommend the triple Room. On every floor, the Rooms are located close to the elevator, and even though the bath and toilet are not separate, there are no steps and they’re fairly spacious. There is also a large public bath, so we don’t use the in-room bath, but the laundry line is long enough to hang towels. There are chairs in various sizes, and since the Room is relatively spacious, there’s no trouble finding space for a senior mobility cart. The large public bath also has one universal chair available. The parking lot also has priority spaces (though numbers are limited). We stayed two nights with breakfast; many items changed from day to day, and I was surprised at how many dishes were offered even though it’s complimentary. The restaurant staff were helpful, the cleaning crew were pleasant, and the front desk staff were kind as well. This time a relative was scheduled for surgery at Shizuoka Red Cross Hospital, and since parking there would have been very expensive, being able to use this Hotel’s free parking was extremely helpful. On our last day we could see beautiful Mt. Fuji from our Room and left feeling refreshed. Just one thing: in the large public bath, the Laura Ashley shampoo amenities had been changed to Kracie products. The hand soap was still there, but it had been one of my little pleasures so I was disappointed. I noticed there is an Accommodation Plan that includes sets from other companies; I would be happy if you could offer a set with Laura Ashley shampoo/conditioner again or bring them back as before.

    I’ve stayed at this Hotel occasionally, but the bathroom had a lingering odor, which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, everything was the same as always, and I’m satisfied with this Hotel.

    Excellent.

    This may be the only Business Hotel better than Dormy Inn right now. They offer package deals, and while amenities are self-serve, the selection is excellent. It’s a shame there’s no 100% juice at breakfast, but the evening curry (with salad) is delicious. The large Onsen bath is great; the open-air area only has a roof, but that’s understandable in a city location. The sauna and cold bath are also very good. I’m especially happy with the manga-reading service—it’s the best. The only disappointment this time was that there was no remote control in my Room. The front desk helped, but it was obvious they suspected me, which felt unpleasant. If you’re going to doubt guests, please check properly first. I would normally give this 5 stars, but this time I rated it 4.

    Convenient for visiting the Suruga Castle Ruins.

    Since there is no dedicated parking at the Suruga Castle Ruins, we used a nearby parking lot. After breakfast at the Hotel, it was a 15-minute walk to the Suruga Castle Ruins; we toured and returned to the Hotel in time for the 11:00 check-out. The Facility feels slightly old, but there is lounge service, and the large public bath was easy to use and comfortable.

    It might be Japan’s best Business Hotel.

    The building, meals, and large public bath were all wonderful! And when I was heading from the lobby to the entrance to eat dinner out, about three staff members at the front desk greeted me with “Have a nice evening.” These days, it’s rare to find a Hotel where the staff offer such genuinely pleasant greetings. The staff who appeared to be of foreign background were also all quick and professional; it felt like an ideal workplace where people from diverse backgrounds work together. The drop-off area is designed so you don’t get wet in the rain, and while more and more Hotels make even short-term stopping difficult, I felt this Accommodation would be reassuring for staying with elderly family members as well.

    We really appreciate the Onsen.

    I was happy that the large public bath was an Onsen. The free drinks, curry service, and wide variety of breakfast items exceeded my expectations in terms of food and drink as well. Thank you very much. Also, it seems the recommended eel restaurant has relocated.

    The Room was lovely.

    I booked a suite because it was discounted under the weekday Plan, but the refrigerator was empty and there was only one bottle of water. I expected at least some added convenience, but there wasn’t any. Since it’s a Business Hotel, I understand I shouldn’t expect too much, but in that case I wondered whether offering suites is necessary at all. The Room was clean and comfortable, but that was all. If I had stayed in a standard Room, I think my satisfaction would have been higher.

    An incident that occurred during my stay in Room 315 on February 27 and 28.

    I stayed here for The whole country senior soccer tournament. After the match, I accidentally dropped my contact lens into the sink drain pipe in the bathroom. When I contacted the front desk, even though it was after 8:00 p.m., they called a technician, who removed the pipe joint to retrieve it. The contact lens was safely recovered, and thanks to that I was able to play in two matches the next day. When I asked about repair and call-out fees, they told me it would be free—I was truly grateful. When I told my teammates what happened, everyone said, “You stayed at a great Hotel,” and if I can compete again next year, I would definitely like to stay at this Hotel. I am very sorry for the trouble caused to all the Hotel staff.

    Excellent value-for-money Hotel

    This is a new and clean Hotel, both the Room and the entire Facility. The breakfast menu was extensive, with plenty of Shizuoka specialties, and everything was delicious. The only downside is that there are few elevators, so you may have to wait a bit, but it is a recommended Hotel.

    It was comfortable.

    We stayed here for my daughter’s university entrance exams. We were glad the Room had a humidifier. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious—I ended up eating too much. The bath area was clean and had plenty of washing stations. It was also helpful to be able to check how crowded it was from the Room. We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much, and we would like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

    The lounge is excellent.

    Overall, it was new and clean. The Room was not spacious but sufficient. The lounge's free drinks, curry for dinner, and breakfast buffet were all delicious and enjoyable. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much!

    Good Accommodation

    A thoughtfully designed accommodation. The breakfast lives up to its reputation, and the spacious dining area means no waiting. There is a pillow selection and a manga corner. Free coffee (a bit weak on the first floor) and soft drinks are available. The bed firmness is comfortable, with USB and power ports conveniently located by the bedside. The onsen felt slightly lukewarm at night but was perfect in the morning. Cleaning staff check every 30 minutes, ensuring cleanliness, including removing hair with adhesive rollers provided. There are 8 washing stations and a sauna available. The onsen operates all night, so you can enjoy it when it's less crowded later at night. The parking staff were particularly friendly and helpful. It's about a 10-minute walk from the station along a main road, so it doesn't feel far at all, with a convenience store nearby as well. However, note that the room only has a cooler instead of a refrigerator; ice cream should be eaten immediately after purchase to avoid melting! A dining map is available at the front desk for recommendations. I would definitely stay here again next time!
