KOKO HOTEL Sapporo Odori

I stayed for five nights as a solo traveler. I chose this Hotel for its location and price, and it turned out to be the right choice.First of all, the location is excellent. Odori Park, Tanukikoji Shopping Street, and Susukino are all within easy walking distance, and the streetcar and subway stations are also nearby. That makes it easy to head out on a whim—or come back to the Hotel for a quick rest if you get tired. There are also convenience stores and plenty of restaurants close by.The Room was a twin Room, but since it’s a relatively new Hotel it was clean, and it had all the basic Facility amenities you’d expect. The window opens slightly as well. The view is just a typical city scene, but I found it surprisingly enjoyable to look at.All of the staff—both at the front desk and housekeeping—were friendly and always smiling. Embarrassingly enough, I forgot something after checkout and had to come back twice, but they helped me without showing any annoyance at all.If I have another chance to visit Sapporo, I’d like to stay here again.One minor issue: the in-room refrigerator had a slight odor. I couldn’t tell whether it was coming from inside the fridge or from inside the cabinet space around it; it wasn’t unbearable, but there was an odd smell each time I opened it... Also, coffee and green tea were provided as amenities; if possible, I would have liked black tea as well.

We enjoyed a convenient two-night stay in the city.The Room was truly clean and comfortable.
