    I would like to stay again.

    We stayed for two nights. As he wanted to visit Nara, I chose this hotel because I had stayed here before and thought it would be a great place for adults to relax. The entrance and lobby decorations were chic and calming, the room had separate bath and toilet facilities, was simple yet functional, allowing us to spend our time comfortably. For dinner at the restaurant, we enjoyed salad and pasta. The salad came with two types of mousse-like dressings on the side, which were very delicious. The pasta was perfectly seasoned as well, making it wonderful to enjoy a relaxed meal within the hotel. The stylish in-house wear and footwear by SOU・SOU added charm, while the tea sweets served with coffee were from Gion Tsujiri—offering touches of Kyoto throughout our stay. The hospitality from both front desk staff and restaurant service truly reflected the high standards of RIHGA Royal Group; he was so impressed that he said he'd love to stay here again. One small suggestion would be providing something like hooks or racks for hanging bath towels—it would be very helpful!

    A very convenient Hotel.

    Conveniently located near Kyoto Station, the Hotel features a large public bath and is very user-friendly. The coin locker system for luggage storage is convenient. The breakfast buffet with traditional multi-tiered boxes is excellent. Although the Room did not offer a view from the window, it provides great value for money and high satisfaction.

    Some hygiene issues

    Overall, the evaluation is good, but there were some hygiene issues that left dissatisfaction. - Room slippers are rubber sandals. - Severe dirt on the flooring. Personally, I evaluate hygiene based on areas like bathtubs and water facilities, which had no issues; however, these two points were highly disappointing. The black rubber sandals appeared dirty due to white deterioration and also absorb bacteria and odors. Without knowing how they are disinfected, they are not wearable. Although the room seemed reasonably comfortable to stay in, these factors left a very negative impression. It might be part of a lower-tier series of RIHGA Royal Hotels, but I may not choose it again next time.

    Luxurious space

    Upon receiving the card key, I imagined a Business Hotel, but upon entering the Room, I was greeted by a wonderful information display on the TV. Despite the affordable price, it was an excellent presentation. The cleaning was thorough and outstanding.

    The air conditioning is quiet and comfortable.

    Old hotels often have poor air conditioning, large temperature fluctuations, and noisy environments, but this Hotel is new, quiet, and comfortable. It offers top-class comfort among Hotels near Kyoto Station.

    Adult School Trip Part 2

    Following our trip to Nara last December, we traveled to Kyoto this winter. The Hotel had separate water facilities; I used the Room's bath while my wife enjoyed the large public bath. For breakfast the next morning, I was concerned that a three-tiered meal might be insufficient since I eat a lot, but there were plenty of dishes and I was satisfied with being able to choose what I liked from the central buffet. The service was excellent, and above all, it was very helpful that they stored our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Located near Kyoto Station, on the first day we visited the western side by subway (Toji Temple, Kinkaku-ji Temple) and on the second day we visited the eastern side (Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Ginkaku-ji Temple), using city buses for getting around and returning via Karasuma Subway Line which was very convenient. (On the second day we used an included one-day pass for both city buses and subways.) It was a trip from Hokuriku but with good weather in Kyoto it became a wonderful memory.

    I stayed with the Plan that includes a steak bento.

    I used a single room. I was satisfied with the room, but I was very disappointed with the bento. I was surprised when I opened the lid! The meat was far from the doneness in the photo, and when I took a bite, it was dry and very unappetizing, which was disappointing. How can such meat be served? It is very disappointing.

    Great value for money.

    I was surprised when I arrived at the Hotel, thinking it was a Business Hotel! The entrance, the Hotel corridors, and the Room were all just like a Hotel. The accommodation cost felt very reasonable. The service was excellent, and I would love to stay at this Property again. It turned out to be a very wonderful trip. Thank you very much.

    Enjoy Kyoto

    Conveniently located near the station, making it easy to explore Kyoto. The front desk staff were pleasant. The Room was clean and comfortable. I was happy to receive complimentary drinks. I would like to use it again.

    Relax in your usual Room

    In Kyoto, there are several regular Stays, and I have been staying at Rihga Gran regularly since its opening. This time, I stayed for one night out of a few nights. The Room is the usual superior Room with a Japanese design that I like. The wet area is separated into three parts: toilet, bath, and washbasin, making it easy to use. The basin is single, and the bathroom amenities are from LAURAASHLEY, with a very nice fragrance. The superior Room is 26 square meters, which is spacious enough. It is a very convenient Hotel with a late check-out Plan and is close to the station. By the way, for those renting a Toyota car, it is very convenient as it is right in front of the Hotel.

    It was a clean Hotel...

    It was a clean Hotel with a sense of cleanliness. The Japanese modern style gave it a luxurious feel and it was wonderful. The public bath, which I was looking forward to, had a strong chlorine smell as soon as the elevator doors opened, and even after bathing, my body smelled like disinfectant.

    Compact but clean

    I searched for and booked a property that is just a short walk from the station. The staff was courteous from check-in, and the room was clean. Breakfast was accompanied by a pleasant greeting, and it was luxurious and satisfying. It turned out to be a good trip. However, I went to the large public bath around 9 PM, and the foot mats in the changing room were soaking wet, and many of the sinks were dirty with tissues missing. I understand that there were many guests due to the schedule, and it was after the bath was crowded, but I would appreciate it if you could pay a little attention to this even during busy times.

    The breakfast with a half-buffet is good!

    The three-tiered bento box containing the main dishes was enjoyable, and the portion size was just right. The salads and desserts were served buffet-style, and I felt that it was well-organized without any crowding. The taste of everything was delicious and satisfying.

    It is a very beautiful Hotel.

    Breakfast is a combination of a bento box with the concept of Kyoto's four seasons and a buffet. I'm not a big fan of this semi-buffet style, but honestly, the buffet menu was a bit limited because of the bento box. However, it was quite delicious. The only disappointment was the Room cleaning. When I requested cleaning that included bed-making, I returned from sightseeing to find the bed exactly as it was when I left in the morning, clearly untouched, leaving me wondering, "What is bed-making?" The Hotel itself is clean and stylish, conveniently located near the station and the entrance to the underground passage, making it an excellent base for sightseeing. The staff provided courteous service, and I am grateful for their assistance.

    New

    A new, clean, and stylish Hotel. There is a large public bath, and the bathtub in the room is spacious enough to stretch your legs, which helped relieve the fatigue from the trip. The breakfast was well-prepared and delicious. It would be nice to have a few more options to choose from. The Hotel is conveniently located near the station, making it easy to use and convenient for visiting Tofukuji.

    The breakfast is incredibly delicious!

    A three-tiered bento box filled with Kyoto-style dishes was prepared for each person for breakfast, along with a regular buffet...! It was delicious, and I felt very happy and full. The night before, my daughter and I enjoyed Kyoto cocktails at the BAR lounge, and they were delicious. It was quiet and had a nice atmosphere. The next day, I stayed at a different hotel nearby by myself, but I couldn't help but visit again. (It's very considerate and reassuring that there are no additional charges or service fees even though it's a hotel.) There is also a large public bath, which helps recover tired feet after a day of walking. I even took a morning bath. It's a hotel I would like to visit again the next time I go to Kyoto.

    The breakfast was excellent!

    I stayed for two nights. The Room had a feature on the TV that showed the congestion of the large public bath, and I went to the bath twice based on the "not crowded" display, but both times the changing room was crowded... I gave up and used the bath in the Room, which had a washing area, so I was able to relax and unwind. The three-tiered breakfast box was stylish and delicious, very Kyoto-like! The other side dish menu was also very extensive and very good. The Room was also clean and I was satisfied with everything. If I have the chance to visit Kyoto again, I would like to use it again.

    It was comfortable.

    Although it was close to Kyoto Station, it was quiet. It was a No Meals Included Plan, but I paid for breakfast on-site and also used the hotel's restaurant for dinner. It was delicious. The bed was comfortable, and although the large public bath was not spacious, it was comfortable. I would like to stay here again the next time I come to Kyoto.

    Breakfast

    Thank you for your hospitality. During my previous stay, the steak bento I had for dinner was prepared after my arrival, and it was warm and delicious, so I had high expectations for breakfast. I have stayed at many hotels around Kyoto Station and had breakfast there. Honestly, I was disappointed. Especially because there were few warm dishes. Everything in the bento box was cold and bland. There was no contrast. When I was shown to my seat, I was told that each person gets one bento box, and when I asked if I should go get it myself, I was told it's up to me. Since it's Japanese cuisine and there are preferences, it would have been nice to have a more helpful explanation, like "There are photos of the contents attached to the bento box, so please feel free to take one if you like." The bread was cold, and there was no toaster. If you could at least make an omelet or some warm dish in front of us instead of the bento box, I think the satisfaction level would increase. The room was not a unit bath, and there was a large public bath and a coin laundry, making it a clean hotel at a reasonable price. I like the hotel, but if breakfast remains as it is, I don't need it. I want to stay again, so I'm sorry.

    It's a small but use...

    It's a small but user-friendly room, and the staff were courteous, making it a comfortable stay. The facility seems to have good soundproofing, and being able to spend time quietly was the best part.

    It was a very beauti...

    It was a very beautiful hotel and lovely, but when I entered the toilet in the guest room, there was a noticeable stain on the visible part of the toilet seat. It was disappointing as it seemed like it hadn't been thoroughly checked.

    It is a calm and nice hotel.

    The calmness of the room's furnishings was very Kyoto-like, and the spacious room made the hotel feel very comfortable. It was also close to the station, and although the large public bath was a windowless space with a design often seen in urban areas recently, stretching out my arms and legs while bathing was refreshing and helped relieve fatigue. I would like to stay here again when I visit Kyoto.

    It was excellent.

    I stayed in Kyoto for one night to celebrate my birthday. I noted in the remarks section that I wanted a room with a nice view. Since the surroundings were buildings and there was no view, they upgraded my room and even gave me celebratory sweets at check-in. I was very happy with this unexpected gesture, and it was a wonderful start to the day. Thank you very much. The next day, I was able to store my large luggage in a locker and enjoy sightseeing. I highly recommend this hotel. The atmosphere at breakfast was also nice. I thought that if there were a few more Japanese sweets, it would have been more enjoyable for the many foreign guests.

    It was a nice change of pace.

    We visited to relieve the fatigue of the hot summer with my sister. The entrance is small, but once inside, it has a very lovely entrance, and the room was also wonderful. The room wear was cute, and since you can check the congestion status of the bath, we were able to enjoy it leisurely. The coffee and other services were also substantial, and we enjoyed a cup in the lobby even after checking out. For breakfast, all the side dishes in the stacked boxes were delicious, and it made the rice go down well. I would like to visit again.

    Accommodation use by a Kyoto resident

    I used this place with two meals included in the morning and evening so my wife could relax over the weekend. The facility is new, offers great value for money, and we had an extremely comfortable stay. There were only three groups of guests for dinner, so it felt like a private experience, and we also enjoyed the lounge after dinner. Although there were many foreigners at breakfast, we relished the warm meal. The hotel stay allows for a leisurely time from 3 PM to 11 AM the next day, so I plan to use it again for a relaxing break from everyday life.

    Doesn't feel like a business hotel.

    The bathtub in the room was spacious and comfortable, so I didn't use the large public bath. The lockers on the first floor were also convenient and easy to use. I stayed with a friend, and it was nice to be able to sit around the table on the sofa and have a relaxing conversation.
