    Directly connected to the station, but

    The escalator connected directly to the subway takes a long time to arrive, and if you don’t use the escalator you have to take quite a roundabout route. Because of that, more people end up using the elevator even without luggage. The elevators inside the Hotel are slow to come, and there’s no clear line or waiting area, so it becomes chaotic. The front desk also didn’t answer the phone for a long time (after 10 p.m.). Even at that time there were about four staff members in the lobby. Service is quick in person, so it seems better to go downstairs and speak to staff rather than calling from the Room. I plan to ask any questions in the lobby upon arrival so I don’t forget. These days many places use self-checkout and other self-service systems, but there are often too many staff just standing by “to support,” which can feel unnecessary at times. Sometimes I’m frustrated with the system itself, not only this Hotel. As for the guest Room, I don’t like cluttered or flashy interiors. The Room felt small and filled with flyers and information, so it wasn’t very relaxing. On the other hand, some things do feel well-funded (toothbrushes provided, double-ply toilet paper, plenty of hangers, an accessory box, slippers, instant coffee), which may be part of its appeal. The large public bath showed “crowded” on the monitor all the time, so I didn’t go. Most guests seemed to be men; there were also many couples. It didn’t feel like an atmosphere where women would want to wander around much. Also, I didn’t want to wait for a slow elevator while wearing a yukata robe, so I decided not to go. About half of the staff were women as well, which made me feel more comfortable. I chose this place for its location and low price point. I may stay again if I have another chance, but since there are many Hotels nearby too, next time I might consider somewhere easier to access above ground. There is a cafe on the first floor that I’d like to try. Previously I stayed on an Accommodation + dinner restaurant Plan as well, and was able to relax at the restaurant. One thing to note is changes in floor level inside the Room. There is a step up/down between the wash area and bathtub area; shorter guests should be careful because it isn’t smooth or easy. Also,the bed is quite high—you have climb up onto it—and if you have a Child Sharing Existing Bedding it could be concerning. There’s enough clearance under bed even for very thick suitcases, but personally it feels unsettling because there’s enough space for someone could hide underneath. A positive point was how well slept. The bed wasn’t very wide,but even sleeping together with my daughter was stress-free,sso i think mattress/bedding quality is quite good.

    Depending on the Room, it can be good.

    When I opened the dryer door, dust fell out. A large amount of water overflowed from the gap around the shower head in the bathtub. It was enough that you would notice it during cleaning. However, if you don’t use the dryer in that Room, it’s convenient because you can get there from the station without getting wet.

    The Room is small, but it was comfortable.

    The Room is compact, but it is sufficient for a solo stay. At check-in, a female staff member came over right away and explained everything. Another female staff member also answered my questions politely. Both of them provided excellent service. As expected from APA Hotel. I also like APA Hotel’s high bed. I did not use the Onsen, so I rated it 1.

    The elevator is not arriving.

    As many Reviews mention, the elevators hardly ever arrive; despite having a decent number of them, for some reason multiple elevators are not in service.

    Glad to hear that.

    I stayed here last month as well. It’s very convenient, with direct access from the metro exit and a convenience store in the building. Having a large public bath is a big plus. I’d like to stay here again when I’m in Osaka.

    Stay for under 10,000 yen per night.

    Starting with the downsides: Because it is right next to the expressway, it is quite noisy. Loud vehicles passed by around 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. I was upgraded to a twin room for single use, but I wouldn’t recommend staying near the window. There are many positives. The FamilyMart on the second floor is very convenient, and the tenant management clearly prioritizes guest convenience. I also had dinner on the same floor; the all-you-can-eat steak felt reasonably priced. I wasn’t feeling well enough to order alcohol, but if that price includes alcohol, it might feel less worthwhile. The bath was excellent—spacious and clean enough to truly relieve a tired business traveler. Considering the price, I was very satisfied and can confidently recommend it to others.

    Not bad.

    For an APA Hotel, the cleaning was not very good. The parking fee could not be paid by card or charged to the Room, and the attendant spoke casually and was careless without seeming to mean any harm. It felt like it lowered the Hotel’s overall standard. The location was fairly convenient and the price was low, so it wasn’t bad overall.

    An open-to-below space above the toilet seat

    The Room itself was clean and nice, but the toilet seat was not heated and felt cold. Especially in winter, I would like it to be a heated seat. Also, since the middle of the building is open to the outside, it was quite cold. I was surprised that part of the Hotel interior is open to the outdoors.

    This might become my regular accommodation in Osaka.

    This is my second stay this year. Located right above Honmachi Station, the access is excellent. The Room is compact but very functional and easy to use. The bed is comfortable and helps relieve fatigue. Unfortunately, I didn’t use the large public bath. I had breakfast at the café on the first floor, but next time I’d like to try the buffet.

    京都旅行快適でした

    It was quite good.

    I stayed at APA Hotel after a long time. This time, it was APA Hotel & Resort, so it might be different from the usual APA Hotel, but I had a very comfortable stay. The room was small in size but had all the essentials without any shortage. The large public bath was clean and very pleasant. Since it is a high-rise building like a tower apartment, there were many rooms, and I noticed some waiting time for the elevators.

    A very comfortable Hotel

    We stayed here again after almost a year, following our visit last year. This time, we used the Hotel during our trip to the Osaka Expo. The access from Tokyo to the Osaka Expo was very convenient. Since the Hotel is directly connected to Honmachi Station, which is the transfer station for reaching the Expo venue via Midosuji Line from Shin-Osaka, we were able to stop by and leave our luggage at the Hotel during our transfer on the day of our visit. This was a great help and allowed us to fully enjoy the Expo. Unfortunately, due to our schedule, we couldn't use the dining facilities or large public bath, but we found our stay at the Hotel very comfortable. The staff were extremely polite and kind. Thank you so much! We look forward to visiting again.

    Apart from the location, everything else is disappointing.

    Directly connected to the station, with dining areas nearby, making it a very convenient location. However, when trying to arrange luggage delivery due to having a lot of travel bags: "The reception is only from 8 AM to noon." I was speechless as this was the first time I encountered such inflexibility at an accommodation. Trying to move on, I asked for a shipping label in advance so I could fill it out beforehand: "We can only provide it during reception hours." Is this because they are just renting space to Sagawa and have no involvement? This is the first time I've experienced something like this at an accommodation. It might be acceptable at a guesthouse but not here... While "the elevators being hard to catch" is a hardware issue that can't be helped, the luggage delivery service is more of a software issue and could show some willingness for improvement.

    Expo and Onsen

    We stayed at APA Hotel & Resort Midosuji Hommachi Eki Tower during our visit to the Osaka Kansai Expo nearing its conclusion. It was a wonderful hotel with an onsen. The meals were delicious, and we had a very relaxing stay. Although my feet hurt from overexerting myself at the Expo, it was an enjoyable three-day, two-night trip with a fantastic experience at both the Osaka Kansai Expo and APA Hotel. Thank you, Osaka. We look forward to visiting again!

    Excellent Accessibility

    The location is convenient for both Expo visits and sightseeing in Osaka, with direct access to the station making it hassle-free even when you're tired. The staff provided excellent service. Although I had trouble with the app, they handled it flexibly, which was very helpful. As expected, the Room is small. I would like to stay here again when visiting Osaka.

    I stayed here to visit the Expo! I was completely exhausted from the Expo and couldn't make it to the spa, so I only used the bathroom in the room. It was quite small since it was combined with the toilet. However, they kindly stored my carry-on luggage both on my check-in and check-out days as a service, and the location was great with direct access to the subway station. The breakfast offered a variety of Japanese and Western dishes, which were delicious. It’s a hotel I’d love to stay at again. Next time, I definitely want to try out the spa! Thank you very much!

    Disappointing staff

    The location and the large public bath were much higher rated than expected based on strict reviews... However, the attitude of the female staff when leaving my carry-on bag was extremely disappointing and left me feeling unpleasant.

    Perfect for Expo visits!

    Stayed in early August for the Expo, and due to the convenience of being directly connected to a transfer station, excellent staff service, and impeccable facilities, I chose to stay at the same hotel again for another trip to the Expo. Once again, I found it to be a great hotel. Highly recommended for Expo visits.

    Stable APA Hotel

    Stayed for the Expo. Conveniently located with direct access to the station near Shin-Osaka Station. From this station, you can take the Chuo Line to reach the Expo venue. The hotel has a 24-hour convenience store inside, which is small but very handy. The restaurant changes its menu between breakfast and lunch; the breakfast menu is very healthy, and the APA President Curry is delicious! The lunch menu includes more snack-like dishes. There is a public bath available, but I didn’t use it as I’m not a fan. The private bathroom in the room is standard for a business hotel. There were group guests staying as well, but they weren’t noisy or disruptive. They kindly stored my luggage before and after check-in, which was very helpful. As expected from APA Hotel—reliable and consistent quality!

    Convenient Hotel for Visiting the Osaka Expo.

    I stayed here for one night when visiting the Osaka Expo. The hotel is directly connected to Honmachi Station, which is a transfer station when traveling from Shin-Osaka to Yumeshima Station. This allowed me to store my luggage without wasting time and head straight to the Expo. After walking around all day, I was able to relax my tired body in the large public bath. These two points were why I chose this hotel, and I was very satisfied with my stay.

    The best APA Hotel among all APA Hotels

    The prime location in Motomachi offers excellent access to Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori, and the Osaka Expo. It is especially convenient for round trips to the Expo and highly recommended. The Hotel staff provided precise, kind, and courteous service for luggage storage, check-in, and check-out processes, making our trip to Osaka very pleasant. APA Motomachi Tower Hotel stands out with exceptional service, environment, and location compared to other APA Hotels we have stayed at before.

    The Room was slightly small, but with a large public bath, it was a satisfying Hotel considering the cost-performance. The parking fee seemed a bit high. I hope for parking fees to be set in consideration of the Hotel room rates.

    The noise level was not too bad.

    The location is good, but

    Directly connected to the station, it was helpful that they could store our luggage, but I question whether the price is worth it as a Hotel. The breakfast was truly disappointing. It had been heavily advertised as a selling point, so I had high expectations, but it was the worst I've ever experienced. During my stay in extremely cold weather, the interior corridors were exposed to outside air, and waiting for an elevator that took a long time after taking a bath was tough.

    Outside?

    As you step out of the elevator and head towards your Room, you’ll be surprised by the open atrium. If you were imagining a warm hallway, you might be in for a shock. Even after soaking in the underground Onsen, you could easily catch a chill. The toilet seat is also cold, which might make your stomach feel uncomfortable.

    I had high expectations for the large public bath, but I was disappointed.

    The water in the large public bath was unbelievably cold, and my body got chilled. The hallway and the room were also unusually cold, which made me feel unwell. I was told that the package I had sent had not arrived, so I couldn't receive it. I will never use this place again.

    The cars are noisy...

    It is a major traffic hub overlapping with the Hanshin Expressway, Chuo-dori, and Midosuji, and the noise from surrounding cars is quite loud. The traffic volume does not decrease until night, so if you are a light sleeper, it might be difficult to fall asleep...

    A Business Hotel directly connected to Honmachi Station on the Midosuji Line, offering a large public bath and open-air bath.

    Directly connected to the station, it was reassuring even with the arrival of the last train. It is a wonderful Business Hotel where you can enjoy a large public bath and an open-air bath. Unfortunately, I couldn't have the local breakfast buffet due to time constraints, but I look forward to enjoying it next time. Thank you very much.

    When settling expenses at the company, a detailed breakdown of the Accommodation Tax is always required, but it is not listed on the Receipt, which is problematic. Please make improvements on this. Alternatively, if it is noticed after the Receipt is issued that the Accommodation Tax is not listed, it is currently not possible to output an additional statement, so please improve it to allow output of the statement only.
