The location is good.

I made a reservation because IKYU had a high rating. Perhaps my expectations were too high. Even if the room's small size is unavoidable, the room, bedding, and in-room wear all had a strong odor, which made the stay quite unpleasant. The breakfast might be considered appropriate for the price, but it was disappointing. If I were to summarize simply, I would have preferred not just sweet Danish pastries but at least basic options like regular bread or baguettes. It was shocking that there was no butter or jam. Is that why they limited it to sweet bread only? The side dishes were mostly fried or greasy, leaving me with only vegetables and yogurt to eat. Perhaps due to the odor issue, the public bath also lacked a sense of cleanliness, so I went once and then used the in-room bath in the morning. The front desk staff were very pleasant and kind, and the location was convenient for going anywhere. The common areas were new and nice, but there were too many negative aspects, making it a very disappointing stay.
