    My Favorite Hotel Kyoto

    Staying at Almont for a Multiple Night Stay every three months. The staff are amazing! From the front desk to cleaning and the breakfast area, everyone is attentive and thoughtful, making each stay highly satisfying! The breakfast is delicious with great flavors (the broth is excellent) and never gets boring even during a Multiple Night Stay. I just want to say thank you so much! I don't use the large public bath, so I can't evaluate it. The only minor complaint would be that there’s no bottled water provided in the Room.

    Excellent service

    Right after arrival, we were welcomed with an ice-cold towel and ice cream. It was a hot day, so the thoughtful touch made us happy. There’s also a drink bar and laundry facilities. Compact and satisfying.

    It exceeded my expectations.

    During the peak of Obon, hotel prices in my usual accommodation area were soaring, and there was no availability. I happened to find a room that was spacious for its price and decided to make a reservation. Honestly, I felt a bit anxious until the day of check-in since I hadn't researched much about it. However, upon arrival, the lobby was spacious and had an excellent sense of cleanliness. There were multiple staff members, both male and female, who were attentive to details, making the check-in process smooth. After receiving my card key, I carried my luggage myself to the room. The room was more spacious than expected with an overall clean atmosphere that left a good impression. Room wear and slippers were also provided. The sink and toilet were in the same space while the bathroom was separate. The sink area had sufficient amenities without any inconvenience. Although I used the public bath instead of checking out the private bathroom thoroughly, it appeared spacious and modern at first glance. The public bath being open until late at night was incredibly convenient for returning late. Even when coming back late or leaving early in the morning, there were always several staff members present who greeted me warmly every time. Their attention to replenishing supplies and maintaining cleanliness made my stay very comfortable and reassuring. Overall, this hotel exceeded expectations with many positive aspects beyond its price point—I feel fortunate to have found such a great accommodation!

    I love it!

    This was my third stay. I enjoyed a relaxing staycation nearby. At check-in, I was given a refreshingly cold towel, which helped me cool down—much appreciated. The welcome drink service is now available until 9 PM (it used to be until 7 PM, if I recall correctly), and I was delighted to enjoy some soda after my bath (I don’t think this option was available before). Breakfast was delicious as always. The layout had changed since my last visit, making it feel fresh and new. The beautiful plates made plating the food an exciting experience as well. All the staff were kind and provided attentive service, making for a very comfortable stay. I can’t wait to come back again soon! Thank you so much!

    A wonderful Hotel where you can truly relax.

    I had a wonderful experience with the staff during my previous stay, and this time as well. Although the TV remote batteries ran out, I appreciated being informed at checkout with an apology for the inconvenience. It showed that information is well-communicated among the staff. After a restful sleep on a comfortable bed, I enjoyed the breakfast I was looking forward to. This time, I had the opportunity to brew matcha myself, which was delightful. The variety of dishes offered was impressive, and I appreciated how they were served in small bowls to prevent flavors from mixing. However, there was one issue: trays were only provided once at the beginning of breakfast service. While still eating, my tray was taken away with a polite "I'll clear this for you," but it became inconvenient as I then had to bring food back in small portions multiple times. While I'm grateful for having dishes cleared promptly, it would be helpful if replacement trays could be provided. I look forward to staying here again!

    I used the accommoda...

    I used the accommodation during a stopover in Kyoto on my way back from Tokyo. The room I had reserved was upgraded, and all the staff greeted me with smiles and excellent hospitality, making my stay very pleasant. I only had breakfast, but it was highly satisfying, making me feel that a two-night stay might be necessary instead of just one night. It was a truly satisfying accommodation experience after a long time.

    The morning amenities are very helpful. The availability of BS channels on the TV, breakfast starting at 6:30 AM, and extended bathing hours make staying at this Hotel comfortable without feeling restricted in my daily routine. However, during breakfast check-in, having my full name called out loudly is a bit uncomfortable. I understand this happens because they match names with room numbers on the list, but if possible, I would prefer using a breakfast ticket instead.

    Highly satisfied! Highly recommended!

    Please stay with us and experience it for yourself! The care and attention from the front desk and other staff were wonderful. - On a rainy day, the front desk kindly handed me a towel, saying, "Please use this to dry yourself." - When I left my luggage, they securely stored it in the backroom. - Their communication skills were excellent. Room: - Clean and well-soundproofed, so I wasn't disturbed at all. It was perfect for getting work done. The bed was also very comfortable. Onsen: - Relaxing and refreshing! It helped relieve my fatigue! I skipped breakfast because I wanted to sleep in more, but I'll definitely try it next time! Although it's a bit far from the station, the hotel staff seem aware of this and have made efforts to compensate for it creatively. I even recommended this place right away to my friends who travel frequently for business trips. There's also a convenience store on the way from the station, which is handy. I had no expectations initially but ended up being extremely satisfied!

    It was a wonderful stay.

    I chose this Hotel because of the good Reviews. It is a very satisfying Hotel. The Room was spacious, and I enjoyed watching the bullet trains from the window. The large public bath had great hot water, which helped me relax and recover from fatigue. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and the side dishes were very delicious.     Breakfast is delicious and filling!

    I recently stayed at this accommodation! It’s about a 7-minute walk from Kyoto Station. Since it’s in a quiet area, I recommend checking in during daylight hours, especially for women or families with children. The room and bathroom were clean, and the interior was even more impressive than the exterior. The public bath was also clean and satisfying, but what stood out the most was the luxurious and delicious breakfast. This accommodation offered great value for the price!

    Convenient for a 1-night, 2-day or 2-night, 3-day trip to Kyoto.

    Within walking distance from JR Kyoto Station, luggage storage is available after check-in and check-out. The availability of an iPhone charger was very helpful. It was also nice to see information about nearby shops displayed in the bathing area.

    Impressed by the attention to detail in breakfast

    It was my first time using the facility, and I immediately felt comfortable with the bright atmosphere of all the staff. Above all, I was impressed by the variety and taste of the breakfast menu, thinking "As expected from Kyoto, the level is high."     It was very convenie...

    It was very convenient to use the JR as it is within walking distance to Kyoto Station. It was cold, so it was nice to warm up in the large public bath. The staff's natural hospitality was also appreciated. The lobby is spacious and equipped with tourist information and books, making it convenient and relaxing. The bed was also comfortable to sleep in.

    Please create a "Do Not Disturb" sign.

    There was a time when I wanted to sleep, so I put the trash can outside to mean "please don't clean for a while (until I wake up)." I didn't use the "No Cleaning Needed" sign because it didn't convey my intention, but since the trash can was cleaned, I thought my intention was understood and went back to sleep. However, I was woken up by a knock and a phone call during my best sleep time. I was troubled because there was no card to express what I wanted to say the most. It was a disappointing stay as I couldn't fulfill the primary purpose of my stay.

    It was a cold Kyoto, but I felt warm.

    I stayed for two nights in Kyoto during a severe cold wave. Although it is a bit far from Kyoto Station, it is away from the hustle and bustle of the station, providing a sense of relief. The staff at the Hotel were courteous and used warm language. Despite the cold schedule with snow dancing in the air, I had a pleasant stay thanks to the comfort of the large public bath and the warm hospitality.

    I felt warm and cozy.

    It was my first time staying, and I stayed for three nights. I had made a Reservation for a single Room, but thank you for preparing a spacious twin Room for me. The front desk staff and breakfast venue staff were all very polite and kind, always greeting and speaking to me first, which made my stay very pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast I had been looking forward to, as everything was well-seasoned and delicious. This time, I did not use the large public bath, so I cannot provide an evaluation for it. My apologies. I will definitely stay again, so thank you in advance.

    For a mother-daughter stay

    There are many accommodations around Kyoto Station, making it hard to choose, but I decided to make my first Reservation here due to three points: check-in at 2 PM, a large public bath, and highly-rated breakfast. The lobby is spacious with a pleasant fragrance, offering local candies and free drinks, making it a relaxing space. I was given a larger Room than the one I Reserved, and I enjoyed a comfortable stay while watching the Shinkansen trains. The public bath was somewhat crowded, but the semi-natural Onsen warmed me to the core, helping me shake off the cold and fatigue for a good night's sleep. As mentioned in the Reviews, the breakfast featured Kyoto-style dishes, all of which were delicious and enjoyable at a leisurely pace. The entire Property was clean, and the staff's high level of hospitality made for a reassuring stay. It was a bit disappointing that the TV was not a smart TV and that there were some areas in the Room's cleanliness that caught my attention. My daughter also expressed a desire to stay here again. I would love to use this Property again if the opportunity arises.

    Compared to other hotels in the area, it is slightly farther from the station, but the building is low-rise (6 stories), new, clean, and has a calm atmosphere. I stayed for two nights and did not encounter any group guests. There were not many inbound tourists, and it seemed to be mainly Japanese guests. There is a unit bath in the room, but I used the large public bath. It was a bit crowded on the first day, but it was just the right size and comfortable. However, towels are not provided in the large public bath, so you have to bring them from your room. I wanted to use it twice, morning and evening, so I brought back the wet bath towel, hung it in the bathroom, and reused it. The room is a bit small, but it was comfortable. However, the slippers are in the closet at the back of the room, so I had to go get them and change from my shoes. I would appreciate it if the slippers were placed near the entrance. There was no space to open the suitcase, so I opened and closed it on the floor in front of the entrance door. I thought it would be nice to have something like a stand for the suitcase. Also, it would have been better if there was at least one bottle of mineral water in the room. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious, and I was very satisfied. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. I was a bit surprised that the accommodation fee is prepaid at check-in by machine.

    Breakfast is Japanese and healthy.

    It was a top-class Japanese menu in the business district of Kyoto. Plenty of vegetables make it healthy. There are many types of dishes, so even with a Multiple Night Stay, you can enjoy something new. Looking forward to the next time.

    Breakfast is delicious.

    I stayed at the beginning of the year. The breakfast buffet had a very rich variety, and I found myself going back several times, especially for the Kyoto cuisine, battling the desire to try everything. There was also ozoni and osechi, making breakfast enjoyable. It was the New Year, so there were many guests, and at 8 o'clock it was fully booked, so we had to wait a bit, but we could wait while having coffee in the lounge. The bath was clean. There were enough washing areas, so I could use it leisurely, and the bathtub was spacious enough to stretch my legs. The room was spacious enough. I was able to rest my tired body from walking. Since it is in front of Kyoto Station, you can leave your car in the paid parking lot adjacent to the Hotel (with a discount) and enjoy your time without any inconvenience. It was a budget-friendly Hotel, kind to the wallet, especially for family trips where expenses tend to add up!

    It was convenient and comfortable.

    It was conveniently located within walking distance from Kyoto Station and was quiet. We arrived a little early, but the wait for check-in was short, which was nice. The breakfast buffet lived up to its reputation, offering a variety of Kyoto-style Japanese dishes, which was great. I was able to relax in the large bath.
