    It was small.

    Although it was a triple room, there was hardly any space to walk, and not even enough room to put our luggage, so we ended up spending most of our time on the bed.

    Great value for money and very satisfying.

    I stayed here for a live show at Billboard Live. Check-in was a bit busy, but the process was well organized and smooth. The Room felt “so small!” the moment I walked in, but it was comfortable and very functional, and the compact size ended up feeling cozy. Above all, the view from the 33rd floor was amazing. The scenery from my Room—daytime, night, and morning—was truly relaxing. For breakfast, I went a little later so it wasn’t crowded; there was a great variety of options and everything was delicious. The 11:00 check-out also allowed me to take my time, which was nice. I’m very satisfied. Great value for money, so I’ll stay again. Thank you very much.

    It’s a bit far from ...

    It’s a bit far from the station, so if you have a lot of luggage, taking the bus is more convenient. That said, it’s located by the harbor, and the ocean view is absolutely outstanding—no doubt about it. A big plus is the large number of self-service washing machines, and there’s also a gym for guests. I didn’t use the large public bath so I can’t say for sure, but even close to midnight it often showed as “busy,” and when I went to the convenience store I saw a steady stream of people coming and going, so it seems quite good. There are also two convenience stores open late at night for anything you might need. As for breakfast, they offer both Japanese and Western options with plenty of variety—nothing to complain about. I don’t eat much in the morning, so I was very satisfied.

    The large bath was very satisfying. There were plenty of washing areas and lockers, making it easy to move around even with a large number of people.

    For Night View Tours

    I stayed here to visit the Yorunoyo event at Osanbashi. Upon arrival at the Hotel, I found a spacious lobby with self-check-in, allowing me to quickly access my Room. The Room felt slightly smaller compared to others but had a great view, a high bed with storage space underneath for luggage, and drinkable tap water in the washroom—thoughtful Facilities for guests. Additionally, the Hotel offers options like curry, ramen, restaurants, and a convenience store on-site, making it convenient even with No Meals Included. After enjoying Yorunoyo, I relaxed in the Hotel's Onsen. The breakfast buffet featured Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes along with curry and live kitchen stations—I enjoyed it so much that I went back for seconds! I'd love to return in summer to enjoy the pool and restaurants further.

    1-hour wait for check-in

    Check-in took 1 hour, the bath area was crowded, and there was a line for the hairdryer. Check-out required a 10-minute wait for the elevator. We hope for improvements. The Room was clean.

    Check-in

    Check-in feels like waiting in line for an attraction. However, companions can sit and enjoy drinks while waiting, and the system is well-organized. The staff are vigilant to prevent any misconduct, so if this bothers you, it might not be the place for you. The Room was a bit small, but the bath and meals were generally satisfying. This time we stayed on the 32nd floor and had relatively easy access to elevators, but on lower floors, it seems you might have to let several elevators pass due to the crowd.

    If you're staying in Yokohama, this is a must!

    With this price in Yokohama, including breakfast, a large public bath, and the excellent variety and quality of the dinner buffet at the restaurant La Veranda, it was perfect. This is definitely my go-to accommodation in Yokohama.

    Upgrade?

    We were upgraded to a corner Room, which seemed slightly more spacious, but the door was a bit inconvenient to open and close. The meals and bath were as excellent as always.

    Great value for money!

    I reserved a twin room for 17,000 yen! The large public bath with spacious tubs and plenty of washing areas was very convenient! The room lacked space to spread out luggage, which was a downside. Although it is a large hotel, the smooth process for luggage storage and check-in made the stay stress-free and enjoyable.

    The Room is hot.

    The room's air conditioner only has heating and ventilation settings, and since the windows cannot be opened, the air becomes stagnant even when the air conditioner is off. The indoor temperature reached 25–27°C, making it too hot to sleep! Without a cooling setting, it may be difficult to consider staying here in the future. As there are many international guests, we kindly request an environment that considers customer comfort.

    Great views, excellent public bath, and amazing movies.

    I had to make an emergency reservation for accommodation just an hour before, and although I imagined a small room at APA Hotel, it was compact and well-organized with unlimited movies, exceeding my expectations. The beautiful view of Minato Mirai and the spacious large bath were fantastic. With the upcoming Christmas market season at the Red Brick Warehouse nearby, it might be a great walking course.

    For weekend stays, please note the parking arrangements.

    Stayed on a Saturday night. Arrived by car around 8 PM, and the staff informed me, "The underground parking is full, so please try the parking lots listed on this sheet (non-affiliated)." Upon checking the first parking lot listed on the sheet, I noticed it stated "No entry/exit allowed" for the stay date. Thankfully, I realized this before heading to that location. However, it would have been helpful if staff had verbally mentioned something like, "Please note that the first parking lot listed on this sheet is not available for entry/exit today." In the end, all other parking lots listed were also full, so I managed to find a coin-operated parking space using Google Maps. For those staying over weekends, it might be a good idea to check nearby coin-operated parking options in advance.

    We have no intention of allowing guests to use the parking lot!

    If you arrive at the hotel past 8 PM, you may find the parking lot full and be directed to a partner parking facility located a 10-15 minute walk away. While it would have been understandable if the website had mentioned that parking is limited and there’s a possibility of being directed to a distant parking lot, no such information was provided. It raises the question of whether the hotel originally planned to accommodate guests with only about 10% of its room capacity in terms of parking spaces. In summary: For those planning to stay at this hotel with a car, please be aware that you might need to park at an off-site location 10-15 minutes away on foot. As for me, I will not be staying here again.

    The room only has air conditioning, so it was cold.

    I expected the room to be small, but I was completely unprepared for the fact that this new Hotel only has centralized air conditioning with cooling only. Since the lowest temperature on that day was 15°C, I turned off the cooling, but it was still cold. In a double Room, I layered two sets of sleepwear to stay warm. Although I stayed alone this time, the double Room is also just 11 square meters like a single Room and reportedly has only one chair at the desk. If two people stay, one would likely have no choice but to sit on the bed while awake, which seems uncomfortable and not recommended. There are two FamilyMart stores in the Hotel; however, when I went around 9 PM to buy a late-night snack, both were almost sold out of bread, rice balls, sandwiches, etc., making them unhelpful. Honestly speaking, only the view and cleanliness were good points about my stay.

    Check-in lines may be long.

    Used for 2 people on 10/10 from 15:00 to 17:00. Due to what seemed like the impact of inbound tourism or other reasons, it took 40 minutes to check in, even though we planned a two-hour day-use stay. We could only stay for about an hour in reality, so I do not recommend reserving through IKYU. If staying at APA, you should reserve directly with APA! The dedicated APA app allows for immediate check-in without waiting in line.

    Solo Travel

    The front floor felt a bit like a maze, possibly unique to APA Hotel, which was confusing as it was my first time staying. Being able to store luggage via QR code before check-in/out was smart and convenient (pre-registration of name and contact information required). There is a security feature where you need to scan your room key at the door before heading from the elevator to your room. The room had two 500ml bottles of mineral water, which was appreciated. All air conditioning and light switches were conveniently located by the bed. The unit bath felt quite cramped even for someone with a height of 162cm and weight of 60kg, so it might be very tight for men. Staying in a room with beautiful night views without much price difference became an unforgettable memory. I would love to stay again!

    First-time use

    I have stayed at other APA Hotels before, but this was my first time at this Hotel. The large number of rooms meant that check-in took some time. However, by completing pre-registration while waiting, the process was relatively smooth despite the line. The Room primarily featured a bed with minimal extra space, but it was clean, including the bathroom area. I also appreciated the free movies available to watch. Having a FamilyMart on the same floor as the public bath was very convenient. Its proximity to Bashamichi Station and reasonable pricing make me consider staying here again in the future.

    Stay at the accommodation

    Some front desk staff were mechanical in their responses. When I showed the QR code for luggage storage and asked if it was okay, they simply told me to save a screenshot without even checking the screen. It would be helpful if they could respond more kindly, especially as some tasks may be difficult for elderly guests. There were hairs on the sink in the Room and dust on the carpet, indicating that detailed cleaning was not thorough. The public bath and breakfast were excellent. I especially appreciated how all the staff at the breakfast venue greeted us warmly—it was wonderful. The food was delicious, and I ended up eating too much!

    The best value for money in Japan!

    For 7000 yen, you can enjoy a large public bath, a big TV, and a stunning night view of Minato Mirai from the Room. I was worried if this could even be profitable for the Hotel. It was an absolutely wonderful Hotel. The toothbrush provided was of excellent quality, even better than those at luxury Hotels. Despite being affordable, the Room had bottled water and three hygienically packed paper cups, which were very convenient. When staying in Yokohama, I can't think of any option other than APA Hotel. Even though it's less than half the price of other Hotels in Yokohama, my satisfaction level was higher here!

    It was truly wonderful.

    I stayed here to meet a friend. It was my first time, but it was amazing. The night view and morning scenery were incredibly beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff's service was excellent. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance!

    Tried day-use for the first time!

    I used this for the first time for my favorite artist's live concert. It was very helpful as it was hard to find a cool place in the heat. The freedom to come and go allowed me to step out for merchandise or drinks, and the amenities were excellent. I could rest until the concert, touch up my makeup, and was very satisfied. The room on the 26th floor had a great view and felt too luxurious just for day use. Since there’s another concert coming up, I’ve already made my next Reservation. I’ll definitely use it again!

    Luxurious appearance with a large public bath, conveniently located near Bashamichi Station.

    The numerous chandeliers created a charming and cozy atmosphere, making it hard to believe it was for business. The staff were efficient and left a positive impression. I especially appreciated the small refrigerator with a freezer. Despite buying chocolate as a souvenir in summer, the ice packs stayed frozen when I brought them back, and the provided water was perfectly chilled. By using the APA app, I could extend my checkout time by an hour for free, allowing me to prepare at my own pace. The only downside was that the Room was far from the elevator, which made shopping trips slightly inconvenient. However, having a convenience store downstairs was incredibly helpful.
