    I stayed in the East...

    I stayed in the East Tower. It’s in a great location just a short walk from Shinagawa Station, so access is excellent. The Hotel has three buildings and is a large property with taxis always available. There is also a convenience store on-site. The East Tower is more affordable than the main building, and while the Room is compact, it had all the necessary amenities and was comfortable. The shampoo and other toiletries were POLA, and there was complimentary bottled water as well. Unfortunately, there was almost no soundproofing at the door, so I could hear conversations in the hallway, and in the morning I could hear housekeeping vacuuming and other noises, which made it hard to sleep until checkout time.

    Close to the station.

    Convenient for a Business Hotel stay. At JPY 6,000–8,000, I have no complaints, though it sometimes comes close to JPY 20,000, which was frustrating.

    It was an efficient Room.

    For the location, this price offers great value. The toilet and bathroom space was minimized to the absolute limit to make room for the bed area. The drip coffee was delicious.

    Convenient access from Shinagawa Station, but the convenience store on the same premises is far away.

    With back-to-back typhoon updates right before my trip, I urgently looked for Accommodation in Shinagawa—convenient for both flights and the Shinkansen—and made a Reservation through a great Diamond-member sale. From Shinagawa Station, I could reach the East Tower mostly without needing an umbrella, moving within the property. The bathtub is small, but it was more than enough for me. Bottled water was replenished with each cleaning. Coffee packs were provided as well, and they were delicious. They also had various compatible chargers available, which was very helpful. If anything, I would have been happier if a convenience store were a bit closer.

    Conveniently located near Shinagawa Station.

    Since I only needed a place to sleep, the small size of the Room didn’t bother me. I’ve stayed here several times, and this time the Room had a new coffee maker that made great coffee. The location and surrounding area are extremely convenient.

    The layout is excellent!

    Given the location, a small Room is unavoidable, but I was surprised and impressed by how brilliantly the layout made the most of the limited space. Everything you need is in this compact space—simply outstanding!

    Convenience-focused

    There were many group guests, and the atmosphere felt a bit chaotic. Check-in was automated, but I didn’t find it inconvenient. The Room is a single, but it felt more spacious than I expected. Since prices were inevitably high for the season, the value for money wasn’t great, so this is my rating. It depends on the price.

    It was functional.

    I stayed for one night on a business trip. The Room is small (especially the bathtub), but everything else I needed was provided, and I appreciated having a coffee machine. It was reasonably priced. I arrived a little early, but they let me check in to a Room that was ready, which was very helpful. Thank you.

    Perfect for a simple stay.

    I occasionally use this Hotel, and as others have commented, the location and usable facilities are excellent. Although the Room and bathroom unit are small, I am quite satisfied. Since I checked in late at night on that day, I felt this even more strongly.

    Convenience is everything.

    Conveniently reach the Hotel no matter where you drink in Tokyo, and still make it in time for an early 6 AM flight from Haneda. This is truly irreplaceable. Hotels near Haneda Airport seem expensive considering you have to arrive early at night.

    I had a restful sleep.

    This is my second stay, and I really liked the Simmons bed. Please note that you need to bring your own amenities for women, so don't forget if you're planning to visit. Highly recommended for those who just need a place to sleep at night.

    Much better than expected.

    I stayed here as I arrived in Tokyo early in the morning, spent the day outside, and planned to move to another location the next day. The hotel is very close to Shinagawa Station, making it extremely convenient to drop off luggage and head out again without wasting time. Although I didn't have high expectations since it was just a Room for sleeping, the Room was more spacious than I thought. There was enough space to fully open my suitcase, hang a long coat neatly, and overall it exceeded my expectations considering the location and price. The unit bath is indeed small, but that's typical and not an issue at all.

    Excellent access near Shinagawa Station, but the bathroom is extremely small.

    The proximity to Shinagawa Station is excellent, just a few minutes away. Guests can also use the convenience store and fitness gym within the Prince Hotel. While I was aware of it before booking, the compact size of the unit bath (especially the bathtub) is quite disappointing. This accommodation is suitable for those who can appreciate its convenient location while understanding its drawbacks in bathroom and shower facilities. The desk shows slight wear but is sturdy, equipped with outlets, and functions without any issues. Please note that if you book this Prince Hotel through IKYU expecting high standards, you might be disappointed.

    Conveniently located near the station

    I chose a hotel in Shinagawa due to its convenient location for taking the Shinkansen the next day, as my flight arrived late at Narita. Upon entering the room, I was surprised by how small it was—it felt like a typical business hotel room. That day coincided with the World Athletics Championships, so it seemed many international guests were staying as well. I thought this room size might be challenging for them. However, for someone petite like me, there were no issues with bathing, and I was able to rest comfortably at night. The next day, I appreciated being able to leave my luggage and go about my errands hands-free. Being close to the station is definitely a great advantage. Thank you very much!

    TV malfunction

    I have stayed in the Main Tower before, but this was my first time using this accommodation due to a sudden need to stay. After checking in, I turned on the TV only to find it was broken; while the audio worked, the screen did not display anything. I immediately called the front desk, and they responded promptly, but the issue could not be resolved right away, so I had to change rooms. I had planned to leave shortly after check-in, but this caused a delay of about 30 minutes. While I understand the facilities are old, I did not expect the TV to be broken. Even for a budget room, facility inspections should be conducted. I will not stay here again. That said, I would like to note that the staff who assisted me during this time showed sincerity.

    Accommodation for a night flight

    The return flight from Akita was delayed by 80 minutes due to bad weather. Arrived at Haneda Airport close to midnight and rushed to board the Keikyu Line bound for Shinagawa. Checked in at 12:30 AM. Bought various items at a convenience store near the hotel. The reasonable Accommodation Fee and automated check-in make it easy and stress-free to use. This was my second stay, and the bed this time was cleaner than before. Watching a movie at the cinema inside the hotel is always something I look forward to in the morning. Thank you very much!

    Cost performance is reasonable.

    I occasionally use this place during busy periods as it is close to my workplace. The Room and bathroom are small, but they are sufficient for a short stay. This time, I did not include breakfast, but during my previous stay, I enjoyed it very much. I plan to use this place again during the next busy period.

    I chose to stay here because it was close to the event venue. It was neither outstanding nor disappointing. Having a convenience store inside the Hotel was helpful. The automated check-in process was smooth and satisfactory.

    Great value for money!

    Stayed the night before a business trip. Significantly cheaper and cleaner compared to other Hotels. The bathtub is small but sufficient for a proper soak. Will use again.

    With increased visits to Shinagawa, I recently started staying here. The convenience is exceptional and very helpful. The rooms are minimal yet not overly small, and they include a bathtub, which I appreciate as someone who enjoys soaking in the bath. If I had to point out one drawback, it would be that sounds from the hallway or adjacent rooms can be unexpectedly audible at times. Check-in and check-out processes are smooth, and I look forward to staying here frequently in the future.

    Great location and affordable.

    Conveniently located near Shinagawa Station. Despite having many rooms, there are only two elevators, which caused a queue for the elevators going up during check-in. Check-out was on the 9th floor and went smoothly as it was early in the morning. If your room is on a lower floor, it might be better to check out early to avoid crowded times.

    I didn't know that.

    I thought it was Shinagawa Prince Hotel, but it turned out to be something completely different. East? East Tower? The setup is far from what you’d expect from a Prince Hotel—quite shocking. I wish they would change the name. Does it even deserve to be called a Prince Hotel? It’s below the standard of a Business Hotel. I had breakfast at the main dining area. When I returned after getting my food, I found an unfamiliar foreigner eating at my table... For a hotel claiming to be Shinagawa Prince, this was disappointing. The hotel... left me utterly disheartened.
