    It was hard to find where the towels were.

    Coffee

    The bed was great, the bath was great, the amenities were great, and breakfast was great. The parking fee was also inexpensive. It seems they also offer day-use stays. I’ll definitely stay here again.

    The space was well-maintained and reasonably priced.

    I used the limited-time “Mineral Water Included” Plan: 11:00 check-in / 14:00 check-out (3-hour day use). The Room was clean, simple, and very nice. However, even though I selected a Plan that included mineral water, it was not provided. When I called the front desk from the in-room phone, I was told that this Hotel does not provide mineral water. I assumed there would be water in the Room and didn’t buy any at a convenience store beforehand, so that was disappointing. From next time, I will choose a Plan without mineral water included to avoid this issue, and I would like to use the Hotel again in that way.

    A safe and solid choice.

    This is an Accommodation in Shinsaibashi where you can stay at a relatively reasonable price. I use it occasionally, and I think it’s a nice, clean Hotel.

    I used this property...

    I used this property for the first time because I was attending a SEKAI NO OWARI concert. Overall, I was satisfied except that the large public bath was unexpectedly crowded, the water was too hot, and the humidifier in the Room had dust on it. I would like to stay here again when I visit Osaka.

    It can’t be helped given the location, but…

    The construction next door and the loud singing from young people outside late at night were very noisy. I wish you had informed us about the construction at check-in. As for Facility issues, the bathroom. The floor was extremely slippery, which made it difficult for elderly guests. I would appreciate it if you could give this more consideration.

    Hotel Hillarys Shinsaibashi

    This was my second stay, following last year. It’s close to Shinsaibashi Station and offers excellent value for money. The rooms aren’t very large, but at this price I find it acceptable. The service at check-in/out and during breakfast was generally fine, but the two staff members at the front desk early in the morning did not respond even when I greeted them, so I rated it a 3. I really appreciate that tea bags, fruit water, and delicious bread are available in the area in front of the front desk. Having a large public bath is also a big plus. The coffee provided at breakfast tasted like instant coffee; if so, it would be helpful to clearly indicate that it is instant rather than drip coffee.

    I’d definitely stay here again when I’m in the Shinsaibashi area.

    The location was great—there are plenty of bars nearby, but the area around the Hotel was calm, and it was convenient to have a convenience store close by. The freshly baked bread, made several times a day at set times, was delicious. Since I had a Multiple Night Stay, I was able to enjoy it several times. There is also a large public bath, so I could relax and take my time in the bath. I would like to stay again. Thank you.

    Osaka Live Concert Trip

    I stayed for two nights, traveling from Hokkaido because my favorite artist’s live show was held in Osaka. I chose this Hotel for the price and the large public bath. It was also close to Shinsaibashi Station, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so the location was perfect. If I had to ask for one thing, I wish there were a microwave on each floor. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Osaka.

    (I chose this property because it offered a remote-work support Plan, etc.) I used it for day use for remote work, but the Room was too dark and not suitable for working, and I could hear an unpleasant high-pitched sound like a mosquito tone the whole time, so I had to wear headphones (I later found out it was the refrigerator noise, so there may not be much that can be done...). Also, there were splinters on the underside of the wooden desk and other areas, which felt dangerous. The location is good, so it may be suitable for staying overnight after drinking.

    Our staff is excellent.

    The staff were efficient during check-in, managing the line smoothly. The lobby offered coffee, tea, and bread, which was a nice touch. The Room was clean. Highly recommended due to its close proximity to Shinsaibashi.

    Good.

    The Room was spacious and clean. However, the public bath had a lot of hair on the floor in the changing area, and the restroom on the first floor was dirty, which was concerning. The free drinks and bread service were great. With its convenient location and reasonable price, overall I was very satisfied.

    The room was clean. However, I wasn't informed at check-in that a password was required to enter the public bath. The public bath only had three washing stations, so there was a line of people waiting for shampoo. Depending on the time and situation, you might feel cold while waiting... The changing room was also small, and there were no available lockers. The bath mat was soaking wet, and the washing area was slippery, which made it quite uncomfortable. It would be much better if cleaning were done more frequently.

However, being in an entertainment district, the noise from young people walking and shouting at night can disturb sleep. The breakfast menu feels limited, and the seating area is quite cramped, which could be improved. Additionally, the roll curtain on the room window was torn; regular maintenance would be appreciated.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    The lobby was comfortable, and I was able to relax while waiting for check-in. However, check-in seemed to start without me noticing, and I heard other guests’ names being called, so I wish there had been more announcements. I also liked that the sink in the Room was located outside the bathroom. The bathtub was spacious, and the shower water pressure was just right. It felt a bit inconvenient that I had to open both outer doors fully to access the refrigerator easily. Given that it’s in a busy area, it can’t really be helped, but among the Hotels I’ve stayed at in Shinsaibashi, this one was by far the noisiest outside. Since it was a weekend it’s understandable, but I had some trouble falling asleep.

    It was comfortable.

    I used the day-use service. The Room was clean, well-equipped with amenities, and comfortable to stay in. I wanted to relax while watching Netflix or YouTube in the Room, but unfortunately, the TV was outdated (probably from the late 2000s to early 2010s) and did not support streaming services or internet access. However, the cleaning was thorough, and everything else was excellent. Considering the very reasonable price, it was more than satisfactory. Highly recommended!

    Best value for money

    We stayed for 2 nights as a group of 4 adults during our visit to the Osaka Expo. First of all, the location was excellent, being close to the nearest station! Since we planned to go directly from Itami Airport to the Expo, we asked to store our luggage before check-in and were able to head smoothly to the Expo. The most impressive part was breakfast. The menu changed daily and was absolutely delicious! However, one downside was that it was quite difficult to secure seats due to many international guests.

    Used for day use. The Room was clean and the price was reasonable. The location was excellent for dining and shopping, which was very convenient. Please consider using us again. Thank you very much!

    Satisfaction

    We prefer to use the room without shoes, so it would be great to have a designated area or partition for removing shoes! The Onsen had limited washing areas, so there were a few people waiting. Other than that, we were satisfied!

    Excellent value for money

    Good location, reasonably spacious and clean room. The accommodation also has a large public bath for relaxation. The staff at check-in and check-out were friendly and accommodating. Although it was a short stay with specific conditions, the accommodation fee was very reasonable. The only downside personally was that the pillow was too low and soft, but I would like to stay here again.

    Perfect for solo travelers.

    Stayed for the Expo. Although the accommodation fee was higher than usual, it was still reasonable during the last-minute rush for the Expo. About 30 minutes to the Expo venue by transferring trains. Close to Shinsaibashi Station on the Midosuji Line and near Dotonbori. Convenient with nearby convenience stores and late-night dining options. The large public bath was a nice touch. The room, being a business hotel, was comfortable enough for a pleasant stay. It would have been nice if there were morning coffee services in the lobby. While there is a kettle in the room, no coffee was provided, so I went to buy some at a convenience store nearby.

    I stayed at the accommodation to visit the Expo. The staff were kind, the price was very reasonable, and the location was convenient—just a short and easy walk from the station, which was great! I plan to stay here again when I visit Osaka for concerts or other events. Next time, I’d like to try the breakfast as well.

    For sudden business trips

    I stayed for one night and checked in smoothly after a dinner meeting, thanks to the efficient staff. The Room was clean and spacious enough for one person. Having the sink next to the desk was convenient, allowing me to wash my face or brush my teeth during work to Clear my mind. The location is very convenient, with plenty of options for late-night meals after work. The hot spring bath felt a bit plain; adding something like herbal or radon stone bath additives might enhance the experience. If the sky bar reopens, it would be wonderful to enjoy Osaka's night view from there.

    It was a bit disappointing.

    Stayed for 2 nights from 9/25. The purpose was to visit the Expo. This was my second stay at this accommodation. I expected some noise at night due to the location, but this time I was a bit disappointed with the noise from the air conditioner in the room and issues with the refrigerator not cooling properly. The bread service was appreciated, and they also stored my luggage, which was helpful. It would be even better if there were a towel bar in the washroom area and plastic bags available near the ice machine. Although I made use of the ice bucket rental service, having these additional amenities would enhance convenience. However, given its great location and reasonable price, I would like to stay here again.
