    Right in front of Takanawa Gateway Station

    I stayed for one night starting on Saturday. There is a covered walkway along the building from the station to very near the Hotel, so it’s fairly easy to get around even on rainy days. The lemonade in the guest lounge was pleasantly tart, blue, and delicious, though it felt a bit limited that only donuts and rice crackers were available. It may be ideal as a casual regular stay.

    This was my first stay since Takanawa Gateway Station opened. It’s much closer than Shinagawa Station, which makes it very convenient. When I stayed at the opening, breakfast was a half-buffet where you could choose from several types of sandwiches. Now it has changed to a full buffet, but I felt the selection was a bit underwhelming. The sandwich option seemed more distinctive. The other Facilities and services were mostly the same as when it first opened, which was good. Now that the station has made access easier, I think offering some more unique services would help set it apart from other Hotels.

    I'm glad you were able to relax.

    This was my first stay, and it was great being close to Takanawa Gateway Station. Being on a floor with views of many trains made for a truly special experience. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and I was very satisfied. I would like to stay again.

    The Room was very sm...

    The Room was very small. I would have liked a foldable luggage rack in the guest room to place my suitcase on. The bed mattress was not too firm, and I slept well. I was concerned that the shower water pressure was a bit weak; for women washing their hair, stronger water pressure would be helpful. The location was very convenient, just a short walk from Takanawa Gateway Station. Since there is no convenience store nearby, I recommend buying anything you need in advance.

    Enjoy Takanawa

    I visited after Takanawa Gateway Station opened and tried using it. It was closer to the station than I expected. Katsurazaka was a tough climb, but I also ventured into Shirokanedai. The street view from the second floor felt futuristic. It was a completely different world from Shinagawa when I lived there for 40 years. I enjoyed an elegant moment in the lounge next to the front desk and was very satisfied.

    Hotel near Shinagawa Station

    A Hotel located between Takanawa Gateway Station and Shinagawa Station. It’s closer to Takanawa, but Shinagawa is still easily within walking distance. Maybe because of that, it felt like most guests were foreigners. [What I liked] - Complimentary soft drinks in the lounge (I didn’t use it). It seemed like non-alcoholic drinks were free until around 22:00. - Close to the station - The bathroom has a separate washing area [What concerned me] - The Room is quite small (I don’t think international travelers could fully open their suitcases) - The bathroom has a washing area, but the toilet isn’t separate (toilet and sink are all in the same space) - No lock on the toilet door - When I asked the front desk if there was somewhere nearby for a quick bite, they said “Takanawa Newoman or a convenience store.” I could have figured that out without asking—I wanted other options. In the end, I found an izakaya myself. Since it felt like a Business Hotel, maybe they don’t get questions like that. - Slightly overpriced for this size?

    Near Takanawa Statio...

    Near Takanawa Station, quieter than Shinagawa. A new Hotel with clean Rooms and a spotless bathroom—everything felt very clean. The cake and coffee service from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM was a wonderful touch. Breakfast did not change over five days; I would have liked a bit more variety. Overall, it was one of the best city Hotels I’ve stayed at. Thank you, and I look forward to staying again.

    It was a quiet and comfortable stay.

    It was very close to Takanawa Gateway Station. Perhaps because our Room faced the residential area in Takanawa (on the opposite side from the road and tracks), it was quiet at night and very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, and although the changing area is in the same space as the toilet, having a large bath made it stress-free. It may have been by chance, but this Hotel seemed to have many international guests, especially from Western countries. I appreciated that the lounge on the first floor is open at night. I would recommend it to friends and would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

    Personalized Experience

    Twin Room: Comfortable room with a spacious bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak. Customer Service: Luggage storage available; other services are standard. Breakfast: Simple breakfast with limited variety. Location: An 8-minute walk from the station; unfortunately, there are no nearby restaurants.

    There is no place to put your clothes while bathing.

    The hotel is close to Takanawa Gateway Station, but there are no convenience stores nearby. For shopping or dining, we recommend using Shinagawa Station. The staff at the front desk and restaurant could improve their attentiveness. The showerhead and hairdryer were from ReFa. While the room has a bathroom with a washing area, it makes the living space smaller. There were several spots to place small items, but there was no space in the washroom to put clothes during a bath, which was inconvenient. Placing them on top of the toilet wasn’t an option either since its sensor caused it to open automatically when entering the washroom. Despite being near train tracks, noise was not an issue at all. The lounge had limited hours and couldn’t be used as I arrived late at night. Breakfast was quite ordinary without any standout dishes—there wasn’t even curry that you often find elsewhere these days. A wider variety of options would be appreciated.

    I have stayed here multiple times during my trips to Tokyo. Thank you for always providing a comfortable space. This time, I stayed for 2 nights. The commercial facility in front of Takanawa Gateway Station, which was still under construction when I first visited, has now opened, and a new station gate closer to the Hotel has been added, making access much more convenient. During my 2-night stay, I placed the "no cleaning needed" sign on the door. In the past, replacement towels and water were left hanging on the door when I returned from outings; however, this time they were not provided. Has this policy changed? While it may align with eco-friendly practices, it would have been helpful to receive water for the second night as well. Additionally, when using the provided hairdryer at maximum airflow setting, I noticed that it alternated between warm air and cool air intermittently. Overall though, my stay was very comfortable as always. Returning to my Room felt relaxing and reassuring every time. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo. Thank you once again! Looking forward to visiting again soon!

    I had a comfortable stay.

    I have stayed here several times, and once again, I had a comfortable stay in a clean room. If I may suggest, having separate top and bottom pajamas and a nightlight would allow guests to turn off the bathroom light and sleep more comfortably without the brightness. However, I am very satisfied with the location and the staff's excellent service. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you very much!

    I would like to stay again.

    Conveniently located near Takanawa Gateway Station with easy access to the airport via the Keikyu Line. The room is spacious enough for a solo stay. The bathroom, bathtub, and toilet were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Bath salts were provided, which was a nice touch after a tiring day of walking. The female staff at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast on the first floor was relaxing and enjoyable. I would love to stay here again when visiting Tokyo!

    The front desk staff is disappointing.

    Stayed for 3 nights. This was my third stay as the accommodation is conveniently located near where I needed to be. However, as before, the attitude of the front desk staff was not great. The lack of greetings always bothers me. It was silent both when leaving and returning to the accommodation. I also used the restaurant for lunch, but when I stood up to use the drink bar, a staff member reacted every time as if they wanted to clear my table, which made me uncomfortable. It was puzzling since it wasn’t even fully booked. The room facilities were generally good, but it was disappointing that YouTube couldn’t be watched on the TV. With Takanawa Gateway undergoing significant development and demand likely increasing in the future, I hope staff can undergo retraining and improve their service level further!

    I had a comfortable stay.

    Conveniently located near Takanawa Gateway Station! From the south ticket gate, walk left along the link pillar, take the escalator down, and cross the signal in front to reach the Hotel. The Room felt a bit small, but I appreciated the bathroom with a washing area. The lounge on the first floor was comfortable for relaxing. However, it would have been better if there was a convenience store closer by.

    Usually better staff than a Business Hotel.

    Check-in was from 3 PM, but I was allowed to enter before 2 PM, which was great because it was hot. Very flexible service. The foreign female front desk staff always had a smile and provided smooth and excellent service. She was also in the lounge, always smiling, which impressed my friends and me. The room is small but very comfortable. The bathroom with a washing area is nice. Having a ReFa hairdryer, bath salts, and skincare products available was great. Being able to take tea or coffee from the lounge back to the room was very convenient. Even though everyone checked out at the same time, it went smoothly. When I requested a taxi, the male staff member handled it politely and left a good impression overall—definitely a Hotel I'd like to stay at again!

    Very convenient to use.

    Great location, would love to stay again. Convenient with a nearby convenience store. Feels like a hotel between a business hotel and a city hotel. That said, hotels in Tokyo are expensive—more than double compared to 10 years ago.

    It was a comfortable trip.

    I use this accommodation once a year when I visit. It is very clean, conveniently located near the station, and easy to access. Although the front lobby can get crowded depending on the schedule and time, it is generally a calm place to stay, and the breakfast satisfaction has been improving year by year, which I truly appreciate. As a request, for Multiple Night Stays without cleaning service, I always hope there could be replacement amenities and tissues provided.

    The most favorite Hotel in Tokyo!

    I stayed here for my birthday, and the staff's service was excellent. The food was delicious, and the breakfast bread was crispy and absolutely perfect! The Room was also clean, the bed was fluffy and comfortable to sleep on, making me want to come back again. Thank you very much!

    Thank you for accommodating our last-minute changes; it was a great help. The facility was new, clean, and comfortable. However, it was challenging to find dining options as there is nothing nearby.

    It was easy to use.

    The Room was relatively user-friendly. For improvement, the mirror at the sink was far and difficult to use. It would be convenient to have a stand for opening suitcases. One of the ceiling lights in the Room was not working.

    It was my first stay in a while.

    Stayed at the accommodation after a year. Last time, construction work on the building made it take longer to get from Takanawa Gateway Station, but with the progress of construction, access has become very smooth. The room was new and well-equipped, providing great satisfaction.

    A beautiful and modern Hotel visible from Takanawa Gateway Station, but the Facility at the station is mostly unopened, making dining inconvenient. It is expected to become more convenient after NewoMan opens in September.

    Clean and tidy

    At this price, I have no complaints. I think it is a very good Hotel. Above all, it feels clean, which is truly important. The staff are pleasant, and having a lounge is also nice. In terms of distance, there may not be much difference between Shinagawa and Takanawa, but access from Takanawa Gateway feels easier to walk.

    Convenient

    I stayed for one night coming from Kyoto. It was a bit challenging with lots of luggage as the Hotel is a little far from Shinagawa Station, but using Takanawa City Station on the way back was very convenient due to its proximity to the Hotel. The Room I stayed in was a king-size for single use, and it was slightly difficult to open my suitcase fully, so I would have preferred a more spacious Room. Other than that, it was clean, well-equipped with amenities, and I appreciated having bath salts provided. The front desk staff were polite and helpful as well.

    A bit disappointing

    Upon check-in and entering the room, there was a noticeable shrimp-like smell that lingered. Additionally, several strands of what appeared to be women's hair were found on the bathroom floor, which was concerning. Attempts to eliminate the odor with deodorizing spray were not very effective, and it seemed to circulate even after using the air conditioning. Other than that, the service was excellent and overall cleanliness was good, which made these issues a bit disappointing.

    Convenient and clean.

    It was very easy to walk from Takanawa Gateway Station to the signal in front of the hotel through the open space on the second floor of a building. The hotel is new and has great interior design. The staff at the front desk and café were very accommodating. There were many foreign guests, but English support was available. Although the bathtub was small, it had a washing area, and amenities were well-stocked. Breakfast was delicious. The free guest lounge service provided a nice space to relax since the room itself was compact. However, having the toilet combined with the washroom caused inconvenience as its sensor reacted every time I moved near it, opening the lid unnecessarily. Additionally, there wasn’t a place to hang or store towels or nightwear while using the bath, which was slightly inconvenient. It would be great if these points could be improved!
