    It was a Room on the...

    It was a Room on the top floor. The Room itself had no particular issues, and for a No Meals Included stay, it was very affordable. There was no storage space, so we ended up leaving our bags out in the Room. Even after turning the temperature down quite a bit, the shower water was still hot, and I noticed an unpleasant smell from the bathroom drain. There is a convenience store nearby, and it’s close to the station, so it didn’t feel too inconvenient.

    Although it’s rated three stars, …

    In the extreme heat, the 7-minute walk from Shin-Osaka to the Hotel felt far too long. No complaints. It was just so hot that I simply slept in bed. In better weather, it might be a 4-star stay. The loud voices of some foreign guests can be a bit tiring, though.

    We had a comfortable stay.

    It was a bit of a walk from Shin-Osaka Station, but there were convenience stores nearby, so it wasn’t hard to find. Most—maybe all—of the staff were from overseas, but they seemed to have studied Japanese-style hospitality and service manners well. The Room was clean and efficiently laid out, and unless you’re looking to enjoy the view, it was more than sufficient. I was able to rest quietly and comfortably; however, since my Room was next to the ice machine, it got quite noisy when other guests used it. Other than that, everything was very good!

    Great value and comfortable

    The front desk staff were kind and made me feel at ease. The Hotel was clean, and the Room was also spotless and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, so I slept well. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and I felt it was a great-value Hotel.

    It’s close to the station and offers great value for money.

    Since I wasn’t familiar with the area, it was a little hard to find, but it’s close to the station, good value for money, and generally convenient. The sheets and such felt clean and were not bad overall, but I’d like to note a few points that concerned me. First, when I checked in and went to my Room door, the door was left open with what looked like a door guard bar wedged in place, meaning anyone could enter. Perhaps it was simply forgotten after cleaning, but this had never happened at any Hotel I’ve stayed at before. I was very surprised and felt uneasy. Is this normal at this Hotel? (It was exactly as shown in the photo.) Next, one of the USB power ports on the table didn’t work and wouldn’t charge my device. There were other outlets so it wasn’t a major inconvenience, but at first I worried there might be an issue with my cable. Also, I noticed that there was no light by the head of one of the beds; the shower curtain wasn’t dirty but was very wrinkled; and there were stains on a towel. As for the breakfast buffet: I think the selection is fairly standard, but the space where food is set out is narrow. When it gets crowded you can barely move around. If expanding space isn’t possible, some kind of measure—such as limiting entry—would have made it more comfortable to use. Thank you for your hospitality during my stay.

    We had a comfortable stay.

    We stayed as a family of three. The Room was spacious, and it was great to be able to relax without feeling cramped. In particular, the toilet, bath, and washroom were separate, which made it easy and comfortable for multiple people to get ready. The location was also convenient, with easy access from Shin-Osaka Station. The only thing we noticed was that the washbasin drained quite poorly. If that were improved, we think the stay would be even more comfortable.

    It was a very convenient Hotel.

    It was conveniently located, close to Shin-Osaka Station and within easy reach of a convenience store. The Room was clean and easy to use, so I could relax. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, and I enjoyed surprisingly good coffee for a machine-brewed type. Everything felt just right, including the price, and I would like to stay again.

    I’ll definitely stay here again!!

    I was a bit anxious as it was my first stay, but the front desk staff were very kind and made me feel at ease. There is a kettle in the Room, but I was disappointed that there were no drink packets or similar items provided in the Room. Overall, it felt clean, and I would like to stay again.

    This was my first time staying here. Everyone I spoke with—during my phone inquiry, check-in, and check-out—was very courteous, so I felt at ease throughout my stay. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    Great value for money.

    This was my first time staying here, and when I was looking for a Hotel late at night, I was a bit confused because the building looks quite different from the photos when viewed straight on. The front desk staff member appeared to be Chinese, perhaps because there are many international guests, but her Japanese was excellent. I was charged an additional 200 yen for some reason (it was explained, but I was drunk and couldn’t understand). The room was neither particularly good nor bad, and it met the minimum requirements for a business Hotel. Since I only needed to take a shower and sleep, it’s close to Shin-Osaka and inexpensive, so I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

    Given the low price, I can’t really complain.

    I chose this place based on price since I only needed somewhere to sleep, so I can’t really complain—it’s a matter of expectations. Breakfast was a buffet, but honestly it wasn’t very good. Dragging heavy luggage, it felt a bit far from Shin-Osaka Station. Overall, you can be satisfied depending on how you set your expectations.

    The train was significantly delayed, so I had to find accommodation urgently. It's about a 5-minute walk from the Shin-Osaka main entrance and about 2 minutes from the Midosuji Line. Since I didn’t have any change of clothes, I asked at the front desk where I could buy at least some underwear. They informed me that there is a coin laundry within the hotel. Washing and drying cost 400 yen in total. There are only two machines available, so it’s best to use them early as they operate on a first-come-first-served basis. Amenities other than toothbrushes need to be purchased separately. There is no large public bath, but I appreciated that the bathtub in the room was relatively spacious.

    Attention to detail was excellent.

    I stayed at the accommodation with my child on my own. While I try to ensure we don't inconvenience others, as what is adorable to a parent can sometimes be disruptive to others, the staff were always kind and understanding. At the front desk, when I apologized for being slow, they kindly responded, "It's okay; your child is adorable." During breakfast, seeing me rushing through my meal while managing everything alone so as not to disturb others by staying too long or taking time with food, the staff supported me and said warmly, "Moms often can't eat leisurely; there’s plenty of space now so take your time." Their warm words truly touched me. Thank you very much. I will definitely stay here again when traveling to Osaka with my husband. Thank you for all your thoughtful care!

    Excellent hospitality!

    I let my children stay at the accommodation by themselves, and they said they would love to stay at this hotel again if they visit Osaka, as it is close to Shin-Osaka Station, the hotel is clean, and the service was excellent. The response when I made an inquiry was also great, and I felt glad we chose this hotel! Thank you very much!

    The property felt a bit worn in places, and the desk was small.

    Just a 2-3 minute walk from Midosuji Line Shin-Osaka Station, offering excellent accessibility. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. The interior of the Room has a bright pastel design. However, upon closer inspection, there was tape on the edge of the desk which looked unappealing. The desk was also small, barely fitting one laptop, and the Wi-Fi was unstable, making it unsuitable for work purposes at this Hotel. The bathroom was clean overall, but the wall-mounted showerhead holder had severe mold issues; it would be appreciated if this could be kept clean.

    Great value for money.

    I was able to make a Reservation on IKYU during an early bird or point-up promotion, so I stayed near Shin-Osaka Station at a very reasonable price. Although the area was slightly quiet at night and felt a bit intimidating for a woman alone, seeing the bright and cheerful Hotel gave me peace of mind. Despite the affordable price, the Room was spacious enough, and breakfast offered a satisfying menu with an Osaka touch. I would like to use this Hotel again if arriving not too late at night.

    Great location.

    Stayed for one night with breakfast included. Chose this Hotel near Shin-Osaka Station as it was reasonably priced. They stored my luggage both before check-in and after check-out. The Facility is relatively new and clean, though there was a slight leak in the toilet drainage. Other than that, no major complaints. Amenities include a toothbrush in the Room and razors available in the first-floor lobby; it's recommended to bring other necessities yourself. Breakfast offers a variety of options such as rice, bread, and even takoyaki for a taste of Osaka—neither outstanding nor disappointing in flavor. It got crowded when dining overlapped with foreign tour groups but wasn't too much of an issue overall. There’s another hotel nearby (APA Hotel), which is slightly more expensive, so this might be a better choice for budget-conscious travelers. Would consider staying again if given the chance!

    Clean

    Both interior and exterior are clean. The self-service coffee machine was available until the evening and was frequently used. Check-out at 5 a.m. was completed smoothly. There is a convenience store between the station and the Hotel, but there seem to be few other shops.

    Limited amenities provided.

    The Room was smaller than it appeared in the photos, and the lack of a simple closet made it difficult to store clothes and luggage. Amenities were limited to just a toothbrush, which was disappointing as there were no combs or cotton swabs. The proximity of the bathtub, sink, and toilet made washing hands or face inconvenient. The sink temperature was linked to the bath, so even when adjusted to cold water, only hot water came out, which caused inconvenience. The front desk staff provided very kind and attentive service, which was greatly appreciated.

    This was my first stay at this accommodation. The front desk staff were very kind, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options, which was very satisfying. It was also conveniently close to the station, and I appreciated being able to leave my luggage there. Although the weather was cloudy or rainy for two days, one day we visited the Expo, so it might have been better that it wasn’t too hot. I would love to stay here again when I visit for sightseeing next time. Thank you for your hospitality and best wishes!

    At first glance, it seems like a regular Business Hotel, but the higher price is not justified.

    This was my first stay, but the bathroom and toilet had a musty smell, water kept running from the toilet, and the bathroom was wet. The Room maintenance and preparation were completely inadequate. The price is high compared to market rates but not worth it at all. I strongly recommend considering nearby APA Hotels or JR-affiliated Hotels instead.

    Many of our guests come from overseas.

    I don’t think the Hotel itself is bad, but there were guests from overseas walking down the hallway late at night while talking loudly. I was bothered by the sound of someone playing a “whistle” from the neighboring Room around midnight and couldn’t sleep. The Room felt clean, but I was a bit concerned about some red mold around the bathtub. It’s a convenient Hotel close to Shin-Osaka Station.

    The shower water pressure might be a bit weak...

    I stayed here while attending a certification course near Shin-Osaka. I chose this place for its location and price. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, so I rated the bathroom 2 stars, but overall it was satisfactory. The shampoo and other amenities were good, but having some instant coffee or tea available would have been nice. The air conditioning worked very well.

    It was a good Hotel.

    Located about a 5-minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station, the hotel was clean and in a great location. The price was also relatively affordable considering its proximity to the station. Nearby, there are convenience stores like Seven-Eleven and FamilyMart, as well as restaurants like Nakau, making it possible to get food and drinks even late at night. There were welcome drinks and a comic space available; however, these facilities were not in the building where I stayed but in another building. It would have been helpful if this had been explained during check-in. During my stay, there was one instance of cleaning during the day. However, after cleaning, the staff left the room key inserted when leaving the room. When I returned at night, I found that both the lights and air conditioning were left on. While this alone wouldn’t have been an issue, they had set the air conditioner to 19 degrees Celsius during cleaning, which made my room feel like a refrigerator by nighttime. Aside from this incident, it was truly an excellent hotel! If I have another opportunity to stay around Shin-Osaka in the future, I would definitely choose this accommodation again—just hoping for extra care with removing room keys after cleaning!
