  Everything was great except for one thing!

  The staff were all very pleasant. Everyone was friendly, with smiles and a perfect sense of distance. The Facility is not new but clean. The public bath was also very clean. I especially liked the shampoo and conditioner in the public bath, which left my hair feeling silky smooth. Breakfast had more variety than expected and was delicious. We chose a Room with Airweave bedding, and my family member with back pain found it very effective and was delighted. It felt a bit expensive, but we were glad we chose it. However, one major disappointment was the water area in the Room. The edge of the sink drain hole had mold all over it. I cleaned it before use, and it came off easily—so please ensure this is cleaned beforehand next time! Also, near the sink area, there seemed to be failed caulking or cracks that looked like they could harbor insects—it gave me goosebumps just looking at them! My family also found this unbearable; it's not just my opinion. It was so unsettling that I covered it with tissue paper to get through our stay. If this issue persists during our next visit, we wouldn't be able to stay again—it’s that disturbing of an issue for us! This is such a great Hotel otherwise; please fix these caulking issues as soon as possible for future guests' comfort! Thank you so much in advance!

  Recommended Hotel

  I used this hotel in conjunction with the Tsuchiura Fireworks Festival, but I couldn't make a reservation at a nearby hotel, so I reserved here. Unfortunately, the fireworks festival was canceled, and I couldn't cancel the reservation in time, so I used it as planned. The facility and room were clean, and chargers and amenities were available, making it comfortable. However, I wished there was a bag to carry towels and such to the bath. It's a minor thing, but the toothbrush had soft bristles and was very comfortable to use. Also, the body towel was not too small, lathered well, and was easy to use. Breakfast had a slightly limited selection, but both Japanese and Western options were available. The egg dishes were boiled eggs and omelets, so it would have been nice to have scrambled eggs. In the lobby, there was a coffee machine and tea and tea bags, which I used many times. The price was reasonable, and it was a very good hotel.
