Could this be a super sento where you can stay overnight?

My spouse and I stayed in a twin Room. The Room was spacious for a twin Hotel, and having the bath and toilet separate was comfortable. However, the walls between rooms seemed thin, and the noise from the next room was extremely loud, making it impossible to sleep. Because it stayed noisy until after 2:00 a.m., we contacted the front desk twice and were forced to move rooms. Even if we visit Asahikawa again, we would not stay here next time.

    Meals are…

I stay here every summer. Although this is a Plan with breakfast, it feels like the selection has become more limited year by year.

    Unfortunately.

I used to stay here often, but recently I’ve been staying at other nearby hotels. This time, after a long break, I made a Reservation for a Multiple Night Stay. In the end… I canceled the second night and stayed at another Hotel on short notice. Perhaps because my Room was above the large public bath, there was suddenly loud boiler noise in the middle of the night, and I could barely sleep. In addition, the sink area and toilet in the Room I reserved were different from the photos on the listing page, making them very inconvenient and stressful to use each time. The sink/bath area and toilet were placed side by side with hinged doors that open toward you; when opened, each door blocked almost the entire corridor. So to use them, I had to open the toilet door to go in, close it when leaving, then turn the handle on the sink-area door to open it to wash my hands, then close it again—an annoying setup. If these had been sliding doors, it wouldn’t have been nearly as stressful; honestly, with this layout it would have been better not to separate them at all. This is just my personal opinion and many people may not mind—but the real issue is that it differs from what is shown in the photos on the Reservation page. If I had known this was how the Room was built, I would not have booked it. Please replace those photos as soon as possible. I forgot to take photos of my actual Room, but in your listing photo there is a sliding door reflected in/visible near the sink mirror (or shown), and you are using photos of a type of Room where the toilet and sink are installed across a corridor from each other. This time I chose a Plan that included breakfast and hot stone spa access: breakfast was mostly frozen foods; as for hot stone spa access—it may be spacious with many options—but there were no other users besides me, which somehow made it hard to relax. In addition، there was a bucket placed in The lobby as if there were leaks from rainwater; along with weeds overgrowing The plants facing The street—everything looked neglected and sad. Aging Facilities may not be something you can fix quickly، but combined with The curt، unfriendly attitude at The front desk، It felt like It symbolized this Hotel. After one night of little sleep، i canceled The second night without hesitation。Of course, there was no refund。They did refund only Hot Spring Tax paid at check-in。Thank you。 I used To really like this Hotel,so i’m very disappointed。

    Fairly satisfied.

    1. “2 minutes on foot from Asahikawa Station” seems unrealistic; it’s probably about a 5-minute walk (depending on where you start). 2. It was lively, with many guests who seemed to be Chinese. On the Room floor, there were leftovers placed outside some doors. 3. There was coffee and newspapers on the first floor, and I could relax and read them on the sofa. 4. The Onsen is also open to day-use visitors. I used it in the morning and evening; it was very comfortable.

The property was not cleaned thoroughly.

I booked two nights, stayed for one night, and canceled the second night even though a Cancellation Fee applied. I trusted my Reservation through IKYU, so this was a disappointing outcome. Overall, the cleaning was not thorough. In particular, I hesitated to soak in the bathtub. The area around the door leading to the open-air bath had an unpleasant odor, which made it clear it had not been cleaned. I understand that even an older Hotel can be well maintained with proper cleaning—but this was not the case. I do not think being short-staffed is a valid excuse. After canceling, I urgently made a Reservation at a nearby Hotel late at night and stayed there. Even though the price was about the same, that Hotel was better in every way. Our 30th wedding anniversary trip ended up feeling unsatisfying after only the first day.

    It was great.

Close to the station, and the Room and large public bath were clean. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and was delicious. If I had to ask for one thing, it would be perfect if streaming services like Netflix could be watched on the TV.

    A natural Onsen is wonderful.

I chose this Hotel because it is close to the station and has a natural Onsen. It was during the Snow Festival season, so there were many international travelers. The Onsen was not too crowded, and I could use it comfortably. However, the water felt lukewarm overall, so you need to soak for a while to warm up properly. Breakfast was also not very crowded, and I was able to eat smoothly.

    Room Change

I booked a double under the 60-day Plan, but at check-in I was told the Room wasn’t available and was changed to a twin. They said it was a larger Room, but I booked early because I wanted a larger bed—if this was going to happen, I would have chosen another Hotel. How can you not secure the Room when I made the Reservation more than two months in advance?

    Exceeded expectations and very comfortable!

Every year, I go skiing with my brother's family who lives in Hokkaido. This year, we decided to visit Kamui Ski Links! After researching hotels around Asahikawa Station, we chose WBF Grande because it has an Onsen. The room was convenient with a separate toilet, sink, and bath area isolated from the bedroom. The beds were Simmons and very comfortable for a good night's sleep. Breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options. The bath area offered many types of baths; the electric bath, carbonated bath, and cold bath were especially great for relieving fatigue. The coin-operated drink service was also helpful. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that there are only two coin laundry machines available. I hope this can be improved in the future—at least providing baskets for transferring unattended laundry would be appreciated. Other than that, it was a highly satisfying hotel experience that I’d love to use again! Thank you for your hospitality!

    Don't expect too much.

Before my visit, I was very excited and kept checking the website repeatedly with high expectations. On the day of arrival, it snowed heavily, and winter clothing made our laundry bulky. The dryers were not gas-powered, so drying took a long time. With only two washing machines and two dryers available, waiting for your turn might be challenging. If you have a large family or need to do a lot of laundry at once, there is a coin laundry within walking distance that I recommend despite the inconvenience. Next time, I plan to use the coin laundry as it dries clothes faster even if it costs extra. For breakfast during my three-night stay, the menu didn’t change much and became repetitive—this was slightly disappointing. However, I was extremely satisfied with the staff's hospitality. They provided plenty of coins for drinks when we opted out of room cleaning for three days and offered welcome drinks like ice cream while always greeting us with smiles. The elevator displayed weather forecasts for both the current day and the next day; staff also engaged warmly with guests and ensured that areas like the kids' room were tidied up every morning—showing great attention to detail. I look forward to seeing improvements on my next visit!

    Close to the station!

Conveniently located within walking distance to both the station and downtown! The bath was spacious and designed for both guests and locals to enjoy. The sauna and large cold bath allowed for a relaxing experience! I will definitely stay here again when I visit Asahikawa!

    The bath is amazing!

I made the reservation for the baths, and I’m glad I stayed here. There were various types of baths to enjoy, and the stone sauna was in a clean facility where I could warm up and detox. If I have another chance to visit Asahikawa, I would like to stay here again.

    The worst meal in Japan

Despite being over 30,000 yen per night during peak season, the breakfast consists of cheap frozen food and nearly spoiled dishes like meat and potatoes. It feels worse than meals shown on prison documentaries, leaving a sense of being deceived.

    The hotel was family-friendly.

It was a popular choice for families during the summer vacation period, and the breakfast area, including tatami seating, was very convenient. The kids' area near the front desk was especially well-received by children who couldn't play outside due to the heat. The Room was a twin with separate bath and toilet areas, making it very user-friendly. Having two more washing machines and dryers would make it even more convenient. I would love to stay here again when visiting Asahikawa!

    This is a rare experience.

The pillow smelled of sweat, so I had to go to the counter to get it replaced. The room wear smelled like grilled fish. The bed comforter also smelled like grilled fish. The bathtub was not properly cleaned. I asked the staff for reasons, but no clear answers were given. Additionally, the breakfast is significantly inferior compared to other similar Hotels.

    Great value for money

There isn't a standout feature, but the lack of any negatives is crucial for a Hotel. Considering the price, it felt like a great choice. It’s unfortunate that the fact you can use the lounge at this price isn’t highlighted more. Even though it’s just a drink bar, you can enjoy soup and soft drinks, and even Japanese sake until 8 PM. The lounge service was very helpful for staying hydrated during my trip. On the other hand, I noticed there were no bottles of water (mineral water) in the Room. Perhaps this is because there’s access to drinks in the lounge and vending machines near the public bath where you can get bottled water or soft drinks equal to your group size instead of having them in your Room. While this approach might be more cost-effective than placing water bottles in each Room, I often find myself needing extra when boiling water or drinking more than two bottles per stay and end up requesting additional ones from reception. Since beverages from the lounge cannot be taken back to Rooms, it might be inconvenient for those who drink lots of water while relaxing in their Rooms. That said, providing equal access to beverages through lounges or bottled drinks seems fairer than offering extras only to those who ask for them—making this a well-balanced Hotel overall!

The large public bath is enjoyable.

The Room is spacious with separate toilet and bath, and the bathtub in the Room is also large, making it comfortable and relaxing. (Note: The toilet does not have a handwashing area, so you need to go to the sink each time.) The large public bath was so enjoyable that I ended up taking long baths. I would love to stay here again when visiting Asahikawa.

    Conveniently located...

Conveniently located near Asahikawa Station, within walking distance to the city center. You can see the railway tracks from the window and occasionally watch trains, adding to the travel atmosphere. The Hotel is new, and the Room was very clean. There seemed to be a large bath available, but unfortunately, I couldn't use it. Both check-in and check-out were very quick and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Asahikawa.

    Comfortable

We stayed in a Japanese-Western style room for two people for one night. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Although the breakfast restaurant had limited seating, we stayed on a weekday, so it was not crowded, and the service staff was attentive. The large bath was excellent for a business hotel and stood out compared to other hotels we've stayed at in Asahikawa. There were various types of baths available. We had a very pleasant stay.

Stay for three families with a Multiple Night Stay of three nights.

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of three nights with three families in three Rooms. Our Room was used by four people, including two toddlers and a couple, and we were able to stay comfortably as futons were laid out in the Japanese-style room along with the beds. For breakfast, arrangements were made for all ten members of the three families to dine together, which we greatly appreciated.

A convenient Hotel for your stay in Asahikawa.

Although it is located away from the bustling downtown of Asahikawa, its proximity to the station makes it very convenient for outings via bus or other transportation. The front desk staff and breakfast restaurant team were all very kind and accommodating. The seafood rice bowl at the breakfast buffet was delicious and highly recommended. As for Minapirika no Yu, while it was described as an open-air bath, only about one-third of the roof was open, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a satisfying stay. I would like to visit again if given the opportunity.

    The bath facilities are well-equipped.

It was hard to believe it was a Hotel near the station, as the large public bath had various types of baths to enjoy.
