  At the end of the year, work was hectic and I was feeling tired, but I was upgraded to a spacious room and was able to spend a very comfortable time at the hotel, which relieved my fatigue. Thank you very much. I come to Matsuyama every month for work, and I always struggled with where to stay, but from now on, whenever my business trip schedule is set, I would like to stay at Daiwa Royal as much as possible.

  The location is convenient, being close to the Okaido bus stop for the Matsuyama Airport Limousine Bus. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of local Matsuyama foods.

  Due to work, I check...

  Due to work, I checked in around 11 PM. As soon as I entered the room and filled the bathtub with water, a loud noise came from the bathroom's ventilation fan. When I called the front desk, a female staff member dismissed it by saying the noise would stop if I drained the water. Since I stay at hotels about 200 nights a year, this was the first time I experienced such a noise, so I requested someone to come to the room and check. However, the female manager only responded over the phone and did not provide prompt assistance. As a result, a male staff member came to the room around 11:30 PM. The male staff's response was good, and I was given a room change, but I entered the new room around midnight. I took a bath and went to sleep at midnight, but the lack of sleep affected my work the next day. Despite the late hour, I am extremely frustrated with the female staff and the female manager's response, as they showed no willingness to provide prompt assistance.

  Thank you very much for choosing Daiwa Roynet Hotel Matsuyama from among the many hotels. However, we sincerely apologize for not being able to respond promptly to the guidance for our guests due to facility malfunctions, especially when you were tired after working late into the night. The issue that caused inconvenience to you was identified as an unusual noise due to a loose drain in the bathtub, which rarely occurs at our property. It was a problem that we guided you to a room where such maintenance was not thorough, and when you reported it, our staff provided guidance that troubled you, all of which was due to my lack of management and supervision. I am truly sorry. When a problem occurs in a room, it is natural to visit the site first, and depending on the situation, propose moving to a new room or, if it can be immediately improved, inform and address it accordingly. I promise here to instruct not only the staff who responded but all staff on what it means to provide customer-oriented service, and to urgently check all rooms for similar drain issues, requesting cooperation from cleaning staff. Lastly, I sincerely apologize for the repeated mishaps on this occasion, and although it is presumptuous, if you plan to visit Matsuyama again, we would be extremely grateful if you would consider our hotel as one of your accommodation options.

  Easy-to-use water facilities

  We stayed as a couple. The bathroom, toilet, and washroom were separate, making it convenient to use. The bathroom was spacious, allowing us to relax in the bathtub. It is also close to the downtown area, making it highly recommended.

  The dust in the room was terrible.

  High review and stay. The breakfast is quite delicious, so I recommend it. I stayed in a corner twin in the old building, but the dust was terrible, and it was piled up on the bed and toilet paper holder. Also, stains and dirt were noticeable on the walls around the bed. If you stay, I recommend choosing the new building or a new hotel in the surrounding area.
