    I thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.

    This Hotel is located in a quiet area, less than a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station. There are almost no restaurants nearby, so you’ll need to go to the area in front of Kyoto Station. I recommend having dinner there before checking in. All Rooms are said to have terraces, but for emergency evacuation access you can see the neighboring terrace, so I didn’t use it much. The large public bath had very smooth water and was perfect for a relaxing soak. I also liked how clean and quiet it felt. The best part of this stay was the live music time from 19:45 on the first-floor lounge. While enjoying drinks (the first is a welcome drink, and from the second onward you can purchase them for one coin), I was able to listen to a wonderful voice. The repertoire was wide-ranging—movie music, Japanese pop songs, nostalgic jazz—and it was a comfortable time that anyone could enjoy. I heard breakfast is excellent, but since this time my plan was No Meals Included, I’d like to try it on my next visit. Thank you very much.

    The washroom is small and inconvenient.

    The Room has been renovated and looks clean, which is great, but unfortunately the issue I have long been dissatisfied with has not been resolved. The wash area is originally small, and when staying as a pair there is nowhere to place toiletries. This is especially inconvenient for male–female pairs. I would like you to install a bathtub cover for the bath located in the same area. For Japanese guests, Sakura Terrace has a large public bath, which I believe is a reason for choosing this Hotel (the long opening hours are also convenient). Since the in-room bath is not necessary when the large public bath is sufficient, it would be very convenient if a foldable bathtub cover were provided on top of the bathtub in the washroom so that toiletries and cosmetics could be placed on it. This would not require any Room renovation and would greatly increase usable space in the washroom. Even women who prefer not to use the large public bath (especially foreign women) could fold back the cover and use the bathtub.

    It was a very good Hotel.

    After arriving from Itami Airport by bus and walking to the Hotel, I relaxed with a coffee in the lounge. After returning from Fushimi Inari, I also enjoyed a welcome beer in the lounge before heading to my Room. The Room was clean, and breakfast was very delicious. I truly had a wonderful two-night stay. If possible, even for an additional fee, it would have been even better to have some sweets like cookies or chocolate to go with the coffee, and some snacks to go with alcohol. Thank you.

    We were extremely satisfied with our stay!

    I stayed this time looking forward to the breakfast buffet. It was even better than I expected, with a wide variety of delicious options, and I was very satisfied. The lobby is spacious and relaxing, and I appreciated being able to enjoy complimentary drinks at any time. Having access to the large public bath also helped me unwind and recover from travel fatigue.

    I stayed mainly for the breakfast and the baths. I love this place because I can enjoy an impressive breakfast every time, and the baths are wonderful as well. Thank you very much. I also appreciate that you can store my luggage after check-out.

    The French toast at breakfast is delicious.

    The French toast was very delicious with whipped cream. The Japanese dishes were a bit heavily seasoned, so I’m giving 4 stars. It was inconvenient that there were no power outlets near the head of the bed. I was happy to have an Onsen at a Business Hotel, but it was disappointing that the cleaning wasn’t very thorough. The service was good.

    Recommended as a base for your travels

    I stayed here again after a long time because I wanted to enjoy the breakfast buffet. There was a great variety of bread, salads, and drinks. They also offer obanzai, but the menu is mainly Western-style; the tandoori chicken and penne were especially delicious. It’s right by the subway station, so access is excellent. The Room had a slight odor that bothered me a bit, but it was fine for sleeping. There are only two power outlets next to the TV, which feels limited, but the food is great and there’s also a bath, so I’d like to stay here again.

    Conveniently located near the station

    Located just a short walk from Kujo Station, convenient even on rainy days. The breakfast bread was delicious. However, the front desk staff seemed expressionless, which felt a bit off—he was a tall man. Additionally, I was surprised to find tiles peeling off in the public bath and falling into the tub. The sauna temperature was also quite low, making it difficult to work up a sweat.

    Convenient for Kyoto sightseeing!

    Located about a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station, with Kujo Subway Station right in front, the location is extremely convenient. A bus stop is also nearby, making it easy to explore and travel around the Kyoto Station area. The Room was clean and comfortable, allowing for a relaxing stay. Additionally, complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge were a delightful touch, perfect for taking a break during sightseeing. This Hotel serves as an excellent base for exploring Kyoto.

    I have used this accommodation multiple times and am always very satisfied with the service and meals. However, the lock on the bottom right locker in the women's large bath area was broken, and the locker above it seemed to be nearly broken as well. Additionally, I believe that the dryer door in the coin laundry has been broken since my previous stays. While I understand these are complimentary services, regular maintenance of facilities would be appreciated if possible. Lastly, there was a drainage issue in the large bath area; water from showers did not drain properly and pooled around my feet for some time.

    Satisfaction guaranteed

    We stayed for 3 nights as sisters and were extremely satisfied! All the staff were very attentive, and the breakfast with plenty of vegetables, bread, and sandwiches was all delicious! The presentation was also beautiful!! We ate too much! At 77, 79, and 75 years old, we had a wonderful time!

    It was comfortable.

    Not only was the one-drink service appreciated, but being able to enjoy homemade drip coffee was both surprising and satisfying. It seems that various requests are carefully considered and implemented. The open floor space is relaxing and wonderful. The distinction between indoor and outdoor footwear made the environment hygienic. As always, the bedding was excellent, allowing for a great night's sleep—thank you!

    The breakfast was delicious.

    The cozy Hotel was very comfortable. Although breakfast was not included, we requested it on the first day and found it so delicious that we opted for the buffet again the next morning. There was a wide variety of bread, and the dishes were elaborate, leaving us completely satisfied. We were also delighted to enjoy a welcome drink (alcoholic) while listening to live music at the bar.

    Just steps from Kujo Station!

    Just one station away from Kyoto Station, conveniently located right above Kujo Station. There is no power outlet near the bed, which may be inconvenient for keeping your smartphone close. The large public bath made of Shigaraki pottery was very relaxing and warm. However, the lockers in the changing room were unstable and seemed wobbly, with loose hinges making it difficult to lock properly—regular maintenance is recommended. Considering the price and convenience, overall evaluation is positive.

    【Non-Smoking】Twin Room with Balcony (30 sqm, Bath & Toilet) The room was spacious, quiet, and clean. However, there were no power outlets near the bed for charging smartphones, making it inconvenient to check emails, time, or use alarms. Additionally, the number of outlets seemed insufficient. It was unpleasant to see a cart with towels and sheets left in the hallway from 6 PM upon check-in until 10 AM upon check-out. The bathroom was clean and relaxing. Amenities were well-prepared. Breakfast had limited options but was delicious; each dish seemed thoughtfully selected rather than ordinary menu items. Despite my critical comments above, the high points for the bathroom and breakfast make this accommodation my regular choice moving forward.

    I stayed for the bath and breakfast. It was a very satisfying stay. I will use it again. Thank you very much. The light on the bedside near the window in the Room seems to be out, so it may need replacement.

    Delicious breakfast

    As mentioned in the review, the breakfast was delicious. There were unique options like hot sandwiches not commonly seen at other hotels, and the variety of salads was abundant, making it enjoyable both visually and taste-wise. The bed in the room I stayed in was spacious, allowing for a good night's sleep. The entrance to the room is slightly narrow, which is a minor drawback, but considering the cost-performance ratio, it's overall excellent. I would definitely stay here again if I have another chance to visit Kyoto.

    Stayed in a Balcony Twin Room for a Multiple Night Stay. Located directly above Kujo Station and an 8-minute walk from Kyoto Station, this accommodation is clean and highly recommended. The hotel appears to be a modern renovation of an apartment building, so the bathroom space is a compact unit bath. However, there is a large public bath available until 1:00 AM, which was very convenient for late returns. Although the room has its own unit bath, I used the public bath every time. Additionally, there are "free washing machines and dryers" on-site! Four units are installed and all are free of charge—completely free!! I didn’t know about this beforehand and had researched nearby coin laundries but was pleasantly surprised by this amenity. Guests were considerate with laundry etiquette; no one left their laundry unattended after it finished. A small whiteboard attached to each machine allows you to write your room number so that if someone forgets their laundry, they can be contacted via in-room phone—a simple yet effective idea despite being analog. Another great feature is the "all-you-can-drink service (including one glass of draft beer)" provided daily during your stay—an excellent perk! The relaxation area also offers five complimentary massage chairs, which were perfect for tired bodies after walking around. A few complaints: The first-floor lounge offers unlimited soft drinks—a fantastic service—but it’s located next to the smoking area with a door connecting them. Every time the door opens, cigarette smoke wafts into the lounge area, which is quite unpleasant. This could definitely use some improvement as the smell is very bothersome. Another issue concerns room cleaning during multiple night stays: at least make up the bed properly! While I understand that sheet changes aren’t included as explained beforehand, not tidying up or resetting wrinkled sheets was surprising—it’s something I’ve never experienced before at any hotel. Even without changing sheets, tidying them should be standard practice. These two points were my only dissatisfaction during my stay here.

    Check-in was delayed, but the staff responded kindly. The accommodation is close to the station, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options, which was very satisfying. The large public bath is open until 1 AM, so even though I arrived late at night, I could relax and relieve my fatigue in the bath. I had a pleasant stay.

    The Wi-Fi kept disconnecting and was completely unusable. The public bath was smaller than it appeared in the photos. The lobby was too crowded to feel comfortable. I noticed disappointing aspects, especially because I had high expectations. The good access from the subway station was a saving grace.

    Hotel with Pros and Cons

    Good Points: ◯ A wide variety of breakfast buffet options, all delicious. ◯ Welcome drinks include tea, and alcohol is available in the evening. ◯ The Room is spacious. Bad Points regarding the Facility: ◯ WiFi is slow and disconnects unexpectedly. ◯ No power outlets near the bed, and there are too few overall. ◯ Possibly a one-time issue, but the card key sensor at the entrance did not work due to a dead battery. ◯ Wallpaper was peeling off, and repairs were not done neatly. ◯ There was water leakage under the sink in the bathroom. ◯ Windows are not soundproofed; I was woken up late at night by loud noises from motorbike gangs (bosozoku).

    It was great!

    After 55 years since my junior high school trip, I booked accommodation in Kyoto! (Even as a travel enthusiast, I was surprised!) It was also my first time staying on the south side of the station, so I wondered how far it would be to walk. However, it only took about 10 minutes to arrive. When I checked in, there were two gentlemen who seemed middle-aged, and I thought there were no young staff around. After taking a bath and enjoying complimentary alcohol service in the lobby with a beer, I noticed that there were indeed young staff members present! The beer was very delicious and made for a blissful moment! Additionally, there were many inbound guests at the hotel who all behaved like true gentlemen and ladies. This made me feel that this is truly a good hotel! The breakfast also seemed thoughtfully prepared with international guests in mind—I could tell from the variety of bread offered! Next time, I'll make sure to stay in Kyoto intentionally. And when that happens, I'll book accommodation at your hotel again! Thank you very much!

    Cost Performance

    Accommodation in mid-August, No Meals Included, for 5,000 yen. Enjoy reading in the room or at the welcome café on the first floor. Spend a relaxing time. It was reasonably priced.
