    Front Desk Staff

    At this Business Hotel, despite being far from the station, I experienced discomfort from the front desk staff, which I hadn't felt at other nearby hotels. The price was not cheap either—around 20,000 yen for a small single room—and I couldn't help but wonder why. While the female staff in the morning were pleasant, after arriving tired, it would have been nice to be welcomed warmly at a hotel where one stays to rest.

    Though old, I am satisfied with the ladies' room.

    I have been staying at this accommodation for many years. In spring, I stayed at a relatively new hotel near the live venue, but the staff at check-in were inexperienced, there were many foreign guests, and breakfast was not great. So I returned to this hotel from my previous stay. Last time, there was some noise in the hallway around midnight and sounds of dragging objects. When I commented on it, I received a prompt reply advising me to call the front desk in such cases, which was reassuring. A few years ago, ambulance sirens from a nearby fire station used to be noisy at times; however, recently that has not been an issue and the hallway was quiet during this stay as well. To head early to Expo this time, I opted out of breakfast. Previously, I would roll my suitcase from Umeda for exercise purposes but gave up walking due to the heat and used Nakatsu Station instead (though hesitant because it’s dark and confusing at night). It turned out closer than expected and took only 30 minutes to reach Expo venue—very convenient. Check-out is usually done via machine so greetings from staff are rare; however, as luck would have it when leaving today morning near the breakfast area entrance stood a young female staff member who kindly said "Have a nice day," which made me happy (last month during Sendai trip upon machine-checkout male-staff remained silent). Though old-fashioned facilities exist here yet small gestures like these make one want returning again! Amenities provided within Ladies' Room also prove helpful indeed!

    Expo

    Stayed during the Kansai Expo. The breakfast during my first stay was so delicious that I decided to stay here again for my second visit to the Expo. It was about a 3-minute walk from Exit 4 of Nakatsu Metro Station.

    EXPO 2025

    I stayed at the accommodation during my visit to the Expo. Since I checked in late at night after returning from the Expo, I took a taxi from Umeda to the hotel, which cost just 500 yen—very convenient (perfect distance). The bathroom was a bit small, but the amenities were more than satisfactory, and I slept comfortably on the bed. The breakfast buffet was excellent! Both Japanese and Western dishes had a wide variety of options, plus Osaka specialties like takoyaki, kushikatsu, and nikusui. The bread was also very delicious. Whenever I stay at accommodations, I usually choose one with breakfast included—and this place’s breakfast is highly recommended! The accommodation cost was also very reasonable. Thank you for your hospitality!

    It was relaxing.

    The late checkout at 11:00 and the pre-cooled Room made for a comfortable stay. Although I noticed some minor cleaning issues (such as dirt on the shower hook), overall, it was a pleasant experience.

    Completely satisfied

    Near Hankyu Umeda Station

    Located close to Hankyu Umeda Station with a convenience store just a short walk away, the location is excellent! I've heard the breakfast is incredibly delicious, so I might try it next time.

    Delicious breakfast

    I stayed at this hotel for a theater visit. The location was easy to access and conveniently close to the theater. The room was clean and comfortable. I chose the ladies' floor, which provided a sense of security, and the amenities were well-equipped, making my stay pleasant and satisfying. As mentioned in many reviews, the breakfast was incredibly delicious and impressive. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service with warm smiles. This is a hotel I would love to stay at again!

    A big fan of the delicious breakfast!

    I use this accommodation every time I travel for business. The breakfast is simply amazing. There are plenty of delicious small dishes, a variety of accompaniments for rice, and the eggs (including the pudding) are delightful. I discovered the deliciousness of "Nikusui" here. There were also skewers available, but since it wasn’t clear what was inside, I randomly picked two and both turned out to be white fish. I wish they had been different... It would have been helpful if there was a display showing what each skewer contained. This time, I tried several types of honey for the first time as well. There’s always something new to enjoy no matter how many times I visit! During my multiple night stay, the bidet in my room's toilet was broken. When I requested it be fixed during the day, they informed me that it required part replacement and couldn’t be repaired immediately. They offered two options: ① Stay in the same room knowing it’s broken or ② Switch to another room—I chose the latter option. While switching rooms was inconvenient, this slightly affected my overall experience negatively.

    Room Layout and Facilities

    On the day of arrival, I was upgraded from a single to a twin room due to availability, but the Room was at the very end of a dimly lit hallway. The small Room had two beds crammed in, and pulling out the chair to sit down was obstructed by the bed. The toilet, bath, and bed were all very close together, and the bath itself was narrow. The hot water flow was poor, taking over 30 minutes to fill up despite its small size. I would have preferred staying in a single Room. Although it was mentioned as an "upgrade," calling that Room an upgrade might lead to dissatisfaction instead—better not offer it as such.

    The service was excellent.

    I usually enjoy the famous breakfast, but this time I opted for No Meals Included as I had a lunch meeting with a friend. Although I stayed on the ladies' floor, unlike previous visits where I had a spacious Room even when traveling alone, this time it was a small single Room. Additionally, though not the Hotel's fault, there were frequent loud dragging noises in the hallway around midnight (not from wheeled suitcases), which was quite disturbing. The next morning, voices of elderly women heading to breakfast echoed through the hallway and made it worse. Without breakfast included, I realized that with an old and cramped Room and Hotel facilities, there’s no real advantage to staying here. However, despite checking in past 8 PM after attending a live event and seeing two staff members at reception slightly flustered initially, they quickly attended to me efficiently. Last month during another live event stay at a newer Hotel closer to another venue, reception seemed inexperienced and slow while dealing with many foreign guests—quite frustrating compared to this more reliable Hotel that I've been frequently staying at recently. If only the Room were slightly larger for better comfort!

    Stay the night before.

    We stayed here the night before meeting up with our daughter's family at USJ. The staff were very kind, the Room was clean, and everything was great. The breakfast was also very delicious. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Good location with standard facilities.

    Conveniently located near Hankyu Umeda Station, the Facility is standard for its price range. While the parking lot being a nearby multi-story facility might be slightly inconvenient, car use at a Hotel in this location is likely not expected except for business purposes, so it can be overlooked. The front desk service had no particular issues; however, it felt overly by-the-book and rigid, leaving something to be desired in terms of practical service.

    Old Hotel

    The decision for a 3-night business trip hotel was made based on the good reviews and price. The breakfast indeed left a good impression with many local menu items and ingredients. However, there are reasons for the low price; it is old, narrow, and cleaning feels somewhat inadequate. The static electricity in the pajamas was so severe that they were unusable. The refrigerator is described as a "cooler" rather than a "refrigerator," so beer doesn't get ice-cold (and it's small, so you can't fit bento boxes). There are no glasses in the room either. On the other hand, despite being narrow, there were plenty of outlets which was helpful. Daily mineral water was also appreciated. Once you get used to it, the distance from Osaka Umeda Station isn't an issue, but using Midosuji Line Nakatsu Station might be surprisingly convenient. Recently hotel prices in Osaka have been soaring too; if they maintain this price point, I might consider revisiting for business trips again.

    Highly recommended!

    I used this hotel during my daughter's entrance exam. Although I was initially worried because there is a fire station across the street, the ladies' floor was completely quiet, and I was able to sleep soundly. It was also convenient as the exam venue in Umeda was within walking distance. When I urgently needed to find a drugstore due to a sudden fever, the front desk staff kindly came out to the street and guided me, even late at night. Thank you very much. All the staff members were very kind. The breakfast was delicious. If it hadn't been the exam day, I would have enjoyed it more leisurely. The ladies' floor also had nano steamers and face packs, so I was able to relax even though I was accompanying my daughter. I would definitely like to stay here again.

    I am very satisfied this time as well.

    I had originally reserved a regular room, but since there was availability, I was moved to the ladies' floor. I was delighted to find amenities like face packs and basic skincare products. The biggest attraction here is the breakfast. There are plenty of small dishes, the egg dishes are richly yellow and delicious, and there's Kobe beef steak, minced meat cutlet, and meat soup. Ever since I first tried it here, I've been hooked every time. Normally, I would go for the pork miso soup next to it, but it's definitely the meat soup. There is a wide variety of rice accompaniments (like chirimen sansho), and the finely chopped wasabi to go with the steak is a thoughtful touch. The attention to detail is impressive. I am very satisfied with the homemade pudding and even soft serve ice cream. I eat so much here that I keep my lunch and dinner light that day. If I have another business trip, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you in advance.

    Simple Hotel

    It gives the impression of a very ordinary Business Hotel. After registering at the counter, you check in using a machine. The reception staff will guide you through the process, but it was a bit difficult to understand. The Room is equipped with the bare essentials. I thought it was convenient for charging smartphones, etc., as the Room is equipped with USB cables of various types. It was a bit disappointing that the smell in the bath was noticeable. There were no particularly noticeable stains, but the smell might have permeated.

    This was my second stay.

    It was really convenient being so close to Umeda Arts Theater. This time, I chose the Ladies Plan, so I could try various amenities. I used a steamer for the first time. It was fun to try things I was curious about. And the breakfast. The meat soup was very delicious. I would definitely like to use it again!

    A very convenient Hotel around Umeda

    After the live show, I checked in quite late, and the Hotel kindly contacted me. If they hadn't, I might have missed the check-in. Thank you for your consideration. I would like to use this Hotel when I can stay more leisurely. It was my first time checking in, and the explanation was thorough. The ladies' floor has a system where you can't enter without a card key. The area around Chayamachi behind Hankyu Umeda Station is very convenient. The breakfast was so luxurious that it was a type you couldn't experience without a Multiple Night Stay. I definitely want to stay again next time. Checking out is just a matter of passing through the machine. I think it's a very convenient and safe Hotel. Thank you very much.

    I would like to stay again.

    I stayed one night on the ladies' floor. Thank you for preparing the iron in the room as requested in advance. Additionally, there were lotions, cleansers, steamers, and manga at the entrance of the ladies' floor, allowing me to enjoy a comfortable stay until the 10 a.m. checkout. There were nostalgic manga as well, and I ended up staying longer than intended. I rated it four stars because the bathtub was a bit small, but it wasn't an issue for me as I don't usually soak for long. There is a fire station nearby, but the noise wasn't too bothersome. Earplugs are provided in the amenities, so I recommend using them if you're concerned about noise. I would like to stay again. Thank you.
