    It seems your delicious breakfast has become well-known.

    I always stay here when I’m on business in Osaka—it’s my go-to Accommodation. Above all, the breakfast is excellent. It seems word has gotten around about how good it is, and when I arrived on time I was told breakfast was fully booked. They said they could prepare seating outside the dining area, past the front desk, but since I wanted to go back for the buffet a few times, that felt a bit inconvenient… so I waited until a seat opened up. However, breakfast slots are divided into one-hour time blocks and you receive an advance card beforehand, so I assumed there would be a limit on the number of guests. The staff member explained that “there are many solo guests.” If that’s the case, I’d like to see some kind of improvement—such as making it clear via the advance card how much table space will be used, or distributing only as many advance cards as can accommodate everyone even if they are dining alone. Since this is before heading to work, time really matters. Because of this time loss (I think), I missed out on the limited-quantity pudding. Disappointing. (Though I was able to have it the next day.) My Room was on the women-only floor, and the hair dryer was very easy to use. When I looked it up because I wanted to buy one myself, it turned out to be quite high-end—so that alone made me very satisfied. I also appreciated having bottled water in the Room. The coffee was delicious too. I definitely want to stay here again next time.

    Pleasant and attentive service

    I stay at many different Hotels. The Hotel itself is old, but since I use the ladies’ Room, I feel the dedicated amenities and other items are well provided, so lately this is the Hotel I use most often in Osaka. Because it’s in front of a fire station, I used to sometimes be bothered by ambulance sirens at night (I used earplugs), but recently it has been quiet and doesn’t bother me at all. When I left my Room the next day, I met a housekeeping staff member who greeted me with a pleasant “Good morning.” At other Hotels, staff are often silent or at most just nod. This time I also used breakfast for the first time in a while, and the staff kept things moving efficiently without interruption while calling out to guests as they replaced dishes on the large platters. In these ways, I felt that staff training throughout the Hotel is solid. Even if a Hotel is new, if the staff don’t do their jobs properly or make guests feel they have to be considerate of them, I wouldn’t stay again. It may also help that there are few foreign guests (I don’t see any), which might be one reason it feels less stressful (maybe it depends on the time of day?). Since both Facilities and Rooms are old, I lowered my overall rating. The staff deserve 5 points.

    The breakfast buffet...

    The breakfast buffet is excellent. I stayed for two nights, and the menu varied slightly, which made it enjoyable. The curry in particular is outstanding. There is also a women-only area, so I felt safe staying here. I would like to stay again when I visit Osaka.

    I think this is a good Business Hotel.

    I stayed one night on a business trip. The location is very convenient, close to Hankyu Umeda Station. In the photos at the time of Reservation, the exterior looked a bit like a love hotel, so I was slightly concerned, but in person it was completely fine. The Room felt clean, but there were two spots of dirt(?) in the bathtub. Since my eyesight isn’t very good, they just looked like debris to me, and although I wanted to soak in the tub, I didn’t feel comfortable doing so. Other than the bathtub, there were no particular issues, so I would consider this Accommodation again as an option for future business trips.

    The location was exc...

    The location was excellent and it was close to Hankyu Umeda Station, so I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay on a business trip. The room was compact, but it had everything I needed, and it was kept very clean. Amenities and drinks were available in the hallway on my floor (it was a women-only floor), which was very helpful. Check-out was automated, so it was smooth and stress-free.

    Luxurious Breakfast

    I booked after seeing in a Review that the breakfast was wonderful, and it was exactly as described—actually even better. Everything was delicious, there was a great variety of dishes, and I was very satisfied. I don’t think you can often find a breakfast like this at this price elsewhere. If I have the chance to stay in Osaka again, I would like to book again. The Room was clean, the meals were excellent, and the staff provided courteous service—it was wonderful. Thank you very much.

    The Room was spaciou...

    The Room was spacious and comfortable, but it felt a bit like an office and somewhat lacking in warmth. The shower head and hair dryer were ReFa products, and it was fun to try them out while using them. The bathtub was quite high and there were no grab bars, so I felt nervous as I have concerns about my legs and lower back.

    I stayed one night in a Ladies’ Twin Room. The room was clean and nicely maintained. Since the fire station is right in front of the hotel, I was worried about sirens, but I was able to sleep surprisingly well. However, when I drained the bathtub, water overflowed all the way into the toilet area, soaking the bath mat and slippers. I called the front desk right away and they assisted me. They said the drain was clogged and fixed it, so another person filled the tub and took a bath after me—but when we drained it again, it overflowed once more. With this plumbing issue happening at night before bed, there were only male staff available despite it being a ladies’ room area, so I had no choice but to put on loungewear over my pajamas before opening the door. I would appreciate regular maintenance such as periodic high-pressure drain cleaning. Since the price is affordable, I was generally satisfied aside from that issue.

    The single Room is e...

    The single Room is extremely small, both the bedroom and the bathroom/toilet. There is almost no space to open luggage such as a suitcase, so if you bring one you will likely have to open it on the bed to organize your belongings, which may feel quite cramped. Also, the service feels very by-the-book; when something requires flexibility, it can take a very long time for them to check, and they are not very accommodating. There are convenience stores, bars, restaurants, and pharmacies nearby, and Umeda is within walking distance, so the location is not bad.

    Convenient Location

    I sometimes stay here on business trips. It’s conveniently located close to both Umeda Chayamachi and Nakatsu Station. For dinner, I casually went out to eat in Chayamachi. I always wish the bathroom and toilet had a bit more space, but it’s not inconvenient.

    We had a comfortable stay.

    This was my second stay. The Room was spacious and clean, and the amenities were well stocked, so I was satisfied again this time.

    The women-only floor is great!

    This time, I stayed on the women-only floor. Everything was so well provided that I realized I could have packed much less. Next time, I’d like to bring fewer things and stay again. The meals were also excellent, and I ate a lot every morning—thank you for the wonderful food. The dishes felt thoughtfully prepared, with small touches of care from the head chef. The front desk explanations were kept to a minimum, so at times it felt like I had to read and look things up myself, but once I had stayed there once, it was fine. I also noticed that some other guests didn’t read the information and seemed not to understand certain things, which may be related.

    Satisfying Breakfast

    Breakfast was served in one-hour time slots, so it never felt crowded. There was a wide variety of both Japanese and Western dishes, plus plenty of desserts and drinks. Options included rice accompaniments such as pickles, chirimen (dried baby sardines), curry, local Kansai specialties like niku-sui (beef soup) and takoyaki. Soft-serve ice cream and drinks could be taken back to the Room in lidded cups (one per person). Amenities could be selected in the lobby, and the Room was equipped with an air purifier and a smartphone charger. The bath area was a bit small, but overall it was comfortable.

    Breakfast as Expected

    I stayed for one night on Friday for a business trip. As rumored, the breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options and was excellent. I also enjoyed plenty of desserts and finished everything, and I was happy that I didn’t feel heavy afterward at all. The building itself may not be very new, but it was very clean and pleasant. The Room was compact, but it was perfectly comfortable for one person with no inconvenience. It was also easy to adjust the temperature, so I slept soundly and comfortably through the night.

    If the Room were a little more spacious

    I apologize for not noticing your contact after my scheduled arrival time had passed. I have been using the ladies' floor here for several years and am satisfied with the amenities. Since I usually check in late, the process is smooth without overlapping with other guests. On a previous stay, I commented about noise in the hallway, and I received a reassuring response to call the front desk immediately if it happens again. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the station; while it seems closer to the subway, returning at night makes it harder to navigate and sometimes confusing. That said, I have no intention of switching to another Hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future.

    The bathroom has a strong unpleasant odor.

    The bathroom had a severe odor, possibly from mold or sewage. The bed was positioned close to the bathroom, and even with the door closed, it was unbearable. I left the room on the second night. While I’ve experienced musty curtains in inexpensive Business Hotels before, this was an entirely new level of discomfort. It might have been a rarely used room due to high occupancy, but it's puzzling that the cleaning staff didn’t notice anything unusual.

    Finally completed the Reservation!

    I stayed here twice before the pandemic and loved the amenities on the ladies' floor and breakfast, so I tried to make a reservation every time I had plans to see a show in Umeda. However, it was always fully booked or unavailable with a breakfast plan, making this my first stay in years. When I stayed last time, it was right after renovations and everything was very clean. This time, I noticed some wear and tear on the facilities and equipment. However, as it's a business hotel, everything is well-cleaned so there’s no issue. It seems there will be another renovation soon, which might make things even nicer. The breakfast I looked forward to has slightly declined compared to before. With rising costs of goods, it’s understandable but considering that accommodation fees have also increased... The meat soup that impressed me last time was still delicious this time too. However, it was disappointing that the udon remained cold and didn’t absorb the broth (same as last time). The bread remains tasty as ever; other highlights were sashimi, pudding, and hayashi rice. Both the meat soup and hayashi rice feature luxurious cuts of meat. On the other hand, Japanese dishes have honestly dropped in quality compared to before COVID-19 when every dish left me amazed... Missing out on takoyaki is something I regret—being Osaka specialty food—I wonder if they’re amazing or just average. The George Stuart Tea available on the ladies' floor has been my favorite since trying it at Binario Umeda; now I even purchase it for home use. The facial wash and skincare products suit me well without causing any allergic reactions—so not having to bring my own during stays is very convenient. The hotel staff remain just as friendly and kind as before. You can sense their attitude toward guests from their demeanor at reception—and in this regard—it’s truly a pleasant place to stay!

    Breakfast with a reputation for deliciousness!

    The Ladies' Room offered a variety of amenities such as flavored teas and face masks, and I was delighted with the clean, well-maintained room and the smart TV. Above all, the breakfast was luxurious and absolutely delicious. It seems they purchase an entire Kobe beef from a contracted ranch, which is generously used in dishes like meat soup and hayashi rice. Among the four hotels in Osaka where I had meat soup for breakfast during this trip, this hotel's version was particularly outstanding. The pudding made with Ranou eggs and the clam broth were also exceptional. (The only downside was the 1-hour time limit for breakfast; I wish it could have been at least 1.5 hours to enjoy it more leisurely.) I left fully satisfied in the morning—thank you!

    The Best Breakfast

    I had high expectations for the breakfast based on the reviews, but it far exceeded them! Everything was handmade, and the quality of each dish was exceptional. I ended up eating way too much in the morning with dishes like meat soup, hayashi rice, Spanish mackerel cream stew, fried chicken, and tuna sashimi. The limited-quantity pudding was also delicious. The variety of drinks available was impressive, and I appreciated that they didn’t use dispensers like those found in family restaurants. Among hotels in this price range that I’ve stayed at before, this one had by far the most delicious breakfast with a wide selection of dishes. I would definitely love to stay here again!

    I stayed for 2 night...

    I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days with three friends. We were able to spend our time comfortably and relax. This time, we had plans to go out early in the morning, so we chose a No Meals Included plan without breakfast. The breakfast looked very appealing, so if I have the chance to stay again, I would like to choose a plan with breakfast included. The Room did not have a closet but had a clothes rack; however, since outerwear during this season tends to be bulky, it would be nice if there was more horizontal space for hanging clothes more comfortably. The ReFa showerhead was amazing! I brought my own shampoo and could clearly notice the difference after using it. Even during this dry season, my hair felt soft and moisturized, and my skin also felt hydrated—my friends noticed the difference too! Despite our busy daily lives, we were able to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay for two nights. Thank you very much!

    Extremely unpleasant

    The essentials are compactly organized. The Room and bathtub are small, but this is typical for a Business Hotel. While there were no issues with cleanliness itself, it was baffling that staff attempted to enter the room "for cleaning" at 10:10 AM despite the 11:00 AM checkout time. Being rushed out before the designated checkout time was extremely unpleasant. Although it might have been a misunderstanding due to the common practice of 10:00 AM checkouts, it does not change how unpleasant the experience was. I wanted to deduct points under "Customer Service," but the system did not allow me to do so.

    Good.

    Check-in was smooth, the location is close to Umeda, and there is a convenience store nearby. The ladies' floor was quiet and comfortable. The refrigerator worked well. I will use this place again.

    Would love to stay again.

    We stayed with three people. The accommodation kindly stored our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which was very helpful for sightseeing. The room was clean and comfortable to stay in. I would love to stay here again when I visit Osaka.

    Neither good nor bad.

    Located very close to Hankyu International Hotel. About a 10-minute walk from Osaka Station. The ladies' floor provides added security as access is restricted with a Room key card. The fine bubble shower was very refreshing. However, it was disappointing that there were no cleansing or cosmetic amenities on the ladies' floor. The unit bath and Room are relatively small, but the bed mattress was comfortable to sleep on. Overall, it was an average experience without any major pros or cons.

    Cleanliness of the Shower Room and Customer Service

    There was dirt where the showerhead was removed, which startled me. Once I noticed it, I also saw dirt on part of the bathtub and under the sink (crying). Similar comments were mentioned in previous Reviews, so it might be unavoidable... (crying) The reception desk is fully visible from the main entrance, but there were no greetings like "Have a nice day" or "Welcome back" when entering or leaving. Even when making eye contact, there was silence, which was a negative surprise (laughs). I booked a small Room knowing it would be short stay time and at an Expo price point. However, I couldn't help but feel disappointed as if even IKYU had let me down after years of trust.

    Front Desk Staff

    At this Business Hotel, despite being far from the station, I experienced discomfort from the front desk staff, which I hadn't felt at other nearby hotels. The price was not cheap either—around 20,000 yen for a small single room—and I couldn't help but wonder why. While the female staff in the morning were pleasant, after arriving tired, it would have been nice to be welcomed warmly at a hotel where one stays to rest.
