    The location directly connected to the station was extremely convenient. The Room was clean, the staff were pleasant, and I had a comfortable stay. I would love to visit again.

    Conveniently located near the station...

    Indeed, as mentioned in other reviews, there is no water in the room, so you need to buy it yourself, and the lack of a safety box makes me feel uneasy, so I ended up carrying my wallet around. These are the only two negative points for me. Considering the price, breakfast was reasonable. The rice was quite tasty.

    It was a pleasant stay.

    It was my first visit in 10 years. The area around Niigata Station has changed significantly, and I got a bit lost trying to find my way, so having some guidance signs would be helpful. The access information on the website is also quite minimal, which caused some confusion. That said, being directly connected to the station building makes dining and shopping very convenient. Of course, there’s nothing to complain about regarding the service or the Room. This time I stayed in a Premium Twin Room, which was much more spacious than expected. The separate bath and toilet were convenient, and soundproofing was excellent—very satisfying overall. I especially appreciated that there was a chair in the bathroom for washing up—it came in handy. Breakfast wasn’t particularly noteworthy but decent enough; however, with options like onigiri shops at Ponshukan next door or inside the station building opening early in the morning, you might prefer skipping breakfast here to enjoy Niigata’s famous rice instead. There’s also a Seven-Eleven right next door. Overall, it was an excellent stay after 10 years away! I’ll definitely return if I have another chance to visit Niigata again!

    Water Pressure in the Bath

    The water pressure in the bathroom is low, and it took about 30 minutes to fill the bathtub. Improvement needed.

    The station parking is affordable.

    The Hotel itself does not have a parking lot, but there is a station parking lot connected by a walkway, making it very convenient. Moreover, the parking fee became significantly cheaper when presented at the Hotel front desk. Even if you come by car, this place is very convenient and reasonable. Highly recommended!

    The Room was very nice with separate toilet and bath. However, it would have been better if mineral water was provided. Although the tap water is said to be drinkable, considering hygiene in today's times, I had some concerns. I used ice from the ice machine next to the vending machine in the Hotel to melt and make tea. A water dispenser could also have been a good addition. With breakfast included at this price, it's acceptable without these amenities. In any case, I was able to stay at an affordable rate this time. Thank you very much! I will use your services again.

    It was very comfortable.

    Superior DX Single for double occupancy. A spacious Room with a sofa and desk, featuring a large, clean, and comfortable bathroom and washroom. However, the water pressure from the faucet was weak, so it took time to fill the bathtub. We did not use the dining options for breakfast or dinner, but being directly connected to the station made breakfast convenient. For dinner, we visited a Japanese restaurant on the first floor; its beautiful interior and delicious food left us very satisfied.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    Directly connected to JR Niigata Station, offering excellent access and convenience for shopping and buses. The female staff at the front desk provided such kind service that it brought a smile to my face. When I asked about the bus stop for the airport, they gave me detailed directions. Regarding the Room slippers, it would be great if disposable ones were available as well. I feel hesitant to wear those brown slippers barefoot. Having both options would allow guests to choose, so please consider this. The amenities next to the front desk are well-stocked, but there is no bottled water available. It would be nice if a water dispenser could be added near the free coffee corner. It was my first visit back to Niigata in a while, and I look forward to staying here again!

    I reserved a slightly larger room for a 2-night stay, and it was the perfect choice. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and there’s a spacious sofa, making it easy to relax in the room between sightseeing. Being directly connected to the station was also very convenient.     It was excellent.

    Being a directly managed Hotel by JR East, it was very convenient and comfortable in terms of access. While the station parking fee is 6,000 yen for 24 hours, you can receive a 1,000 yen discount voucher when using the Hotel. Considering that the Aeon Mall Kameda parking has also become paid, I found it more convenient to stay overnight when visiting Niigata. I would like to use this Hotel again if I have another opportunity.

    Directly connected to Niigata Station, which is especially convenient during the cold season as you don't have to worry about wind, rain, or snow. The Room is spacious with a wide desk by the window, making it very functional. Overlooking the bus terminal in front of the station, the room offers a wide view and a comfortable stay. Amenities can be taken as needed at check-in, but having one bottle of mineral water in the room would be helpful for making tea or other drinks.

    Niigata is delicious.

    Direct access to the station is incredibly convenient. The station building has a wide variety of shops, and there are bus stops and taxi stands right below the station, making it easy to return to your Room even in rain, snow, or cold weather. The staff were all friendly and made for a pleasant stay. When I mentioned to the woman at the front desk about a bakery I always visit when in Niigata, she kindly went out of her way to provide me with information about a new shop along with a copied map. I was deeply touched by this thoughtful gesture. The shop was stylish and absolutely delicious. Thank you very much!

    Attending a live event at Toki Messe

    I chose Mets, which is directly connected to the station, as I thought it would be impossible to walk in the cold snow for a live concert in midwinter, and it was the right choice. It had been 10 years since I last visited Niigata Station, but the station had been renovated with many souvenir shops and restaurants, so even though it was No Meals Included, I had no trouble at all. The room was clean and just the right size, and the bed was a semi-double, allowing me to relax comfortably. However, I thought 13,000 yen for No Meals Included on a Friday was a bit expensive. I would be satisfied if there was an Onsen large bath at this price... But since it's convenient, I would like to stay again when there is a live concert at Toki Messe.

    I used it during a business trip to Niigata. The Room was relatively spacious and clean, and the bathroom had a bathtub, making it comfortable. You can watch the TV in the bedroom from the bath. You can choose amenities in front of the front desk, and I tried all kinds of bath additives (lol).

    Directly connected to the station, making it very convenient. The weather was on and off, but umbrellas are available for borrowing. The room is spacious, with a sofa at the foot of the bed that is large enough to lie down on. You can watch TV while lying on the sofa. The amenity I liked was the bath salts. There were three types. The bathroom was spacious, and the washroom was bright and easy to use. It was my first time staying at a Business Hotel in a while, and it was the most comfortable Business Hotel I've ever stayed at.

    Somehow, a coin laundry...

    The breakfast, which reflects the essence of Niigata, is delicious, and the location is great, so I always use it. However, there is one thing I wish could be improved... the coin laundry. Other hotels in the Mets Group and Metropolitan Hotel Group have the latest full-process coin laundries installed. It would be very helpful if Mets Niigata could introduce this as well... Last summer, I had trouble operating the laundry at this hotel and had to ask the staff for help, and above all, if there were a type of laundry where you could check availability and remaining time from your room, it would make the stay much more comfortable. Other than that, I am satisfied.

    I would like to stay again next time.

    I chose this place for its location, but the room and bathroom were more spacious than I expected and very comfortable. It was also convenient to have a souvenir shop next door. It would be nice if the TV in the room was newer. I would like to use it again.

    It was convenient and comfortable being close to the station.

    It was convenient and comfortable as it is located in front of the station. We had breakfast at Ponshu-kan, and it was very delicious. Since we went by car, it was a bit of a walk to the parking lot on the opposite side of the rotary, but it was enjoyable as we could look at many shops along the way. I was overwhelmed with choices when buying souvenirs.

    I had to return to Tokyo on the first Shinkansen, so I used this place directly connected to the station. The location is convenient, the Facility is clean, and the front desk staff were kind and accommodating, allowing me to have a comfortable stay. I also appreciated the complimentary coffee service in the lobby.

    First solo trip to Niigata as a woman

    I stayed in a single room. The room and bed were spacious, allowing for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was a typical business hotel unit bath, but it seemed to be slightly more spacious. Since the hotel is close to the station, I booked without breakfast. There are places offering morning meals and stand-up soba shops open from early morning, which is convenient. There is free coffee available next to the front desk on the first floor, which I used about three times during my stay. It was nice that Ponshukan was just a door away. I had already checked my favorite sake in advance, so I inserted the coin without hesitation! I was already feeling pleasantly tipsy from drinking beer at the station... To wrap up, I had a half-size ramen at Darumaya in CoCoLo Niigata Bar Ramen Alley and felt full. The convenience of moving around was great! If I had to say, the smell of the pajamas and pillow covers was noticeable... I'm sure they were washed, but there was a certain smell, like a dad's scent... If I had noticed earlier, I could have asked for a change, but since I had already showered and it was a good time, I took off the pajamas and slept in a T-shirt I brought. Other than that, I was very satisfied. The check-in and check-out front desk service was good.

    It was comfortable.

    Conveniently connected to Niigata Station. It was inconvenient that there was only one outlet by the bed, and it was disappointing that the stand next to the bed had a broken door that was only reinforced with tape. Other than that, it was comfortable, so I will use it again.

    I like it

    This was my first time staying in a Superior Double 32 sqm (9th floor) after several visits. As always, everyone was very kind, and despite being near the station, it was quiet at night. I feel like the coffee in the 3rd-floor lobby has become more delicious. I would like to use it again.
