    The hot spring water quality was excellent.

    A clean Hotel. The bath was excellent. The pillow was quite firm, and I couldn’t sleep. The blackout curtains were good. The shower pressure was strong and great.

    I’m mainly here for the bath.

    This was my second stay. I really love the Onsen here—it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth. However, I felt that the cleaning, especially around the Room’s water areas such as the washbasin, was not as thorough as it was during my previous visit. The late-night soba was carefully prepared and very delicious. Thank you very much.

    Value beyond the price

    I stayed for work. Despite the reasonable price, my luggage was properly delivered to the Room. The complimentary ice cream after a bath and ramen were consistently delicious. I also used the free massage chair, though it seemed popular with others as well—perhaps a 15-minute per person sign would make it more accessible for everyone. As for breakfast, nothing particularly stood out; it would be great to have fewer items but include some highly recommended local dishes. The cuisine at Dormy Inn in Toyama or Ishikawa, as well as Dormy Inn Nono, left a strong impression on me.

    Chosen for the Onsen.

    I chose this accommodation because it had a large public bath. However, I didn't notice at the time of reservation that the room only had a shower booth and no bathtub. The shower booth was also covered in mold. Even though there is a public bath, I assumed there would be an indoor bathtub as well. The sink area was very luxurious, but wouldn't it have been possible to install a bathtub in that space? The meals were delicious, and the staff's service was polite with everyone greeting us warmly, which was very nice. However, the window by the counter seat for one person was extremely dirty. From my second visit onward, I chose seats far from the window instead. Near reception, all staff seemed like they might be new and inexperienced; they appeared awkward but were trying their best, which left a good impression. That said, they often seemed preoccupied with looking at ledgers and frequently ignored greetings. There were many "free" services offered here and there; however: As any adult would understand that these are included in the price anyway... I believe either addressing issues like moldy shower booths or clearly stating during reservation that certain rooms do not have bathtubs is necessary. Having coin-operated laundry machines inside gender-separated areas of the public bath is fantastic! (This setup being gender-specific is especially great.) Being able to opt out of cleaning during your stay while having towels hung on your door as part of their service is also excellent! That said—choosing accommodations without bathtubs or tolerating moldy shower booths isn't something I'd enjoy doing again—so unfortunately I don't think I'll be returning here in future stays.

    Completely satisfied

    Close to the station, adjacent to a large parking lot, with many restaurants nearby—perfect location. Both the Facility and breakfast are satisfying.

    Thank you for your support throughout this year.

    Thank you for taking care of me during my business trips this year as well. As usual, I conclude the year at Dormy Inn in Gifu. In addition to the excellent quality of the hot springs, I feel that the breakfast here is the best. The price has increased slightly, but I look forward to staying again next year.

    It was comfortable.

    I thought there might be a limited variety of amenities (such as basic skincare products), but they were provided at the Onsen, and the Room had the minimum essentials for a single person, so I am satisfied. It was nice to be able to move without any steps as it is connected to the station by a deck.

    Reliable Dormy Inn

    About five minutes to the Hotel from the north exit on the second floor of Gifu Station via the skywalk (more convenient than going down to the ground). There is a massage chair available after a bath, and a wide selection of comics, leaving nothing to be desired. The breakfast was delicious as always. If I were to suggest one improvement, it would be to indicate on the website that the Hotel is connected to the station by a bridge without going down to the ground, as I only found out after being informed by a companion who checked in earlier.
