    Perfect for cherry blossom viewing

    I stayed in Komagome the night before meeting friends for cherry blossom viewing at Asukayama Park, as it seemed like a great spot for exploring the area. The hotel’s location is excellent, directly connected to the station and close to two of Tokyo's nine metropolitan gardens. The amenities were thoughtfully arranged, including complimentary bottled mineral water in the room, coffee service in the lobby, and a selection of bath salts and other essentials. Everything was efficient and comfortable. Breakfast included a drink bar and was surprisingly hearty. The guest room had a clean, calming design with just the right amount of features. I enjoyed viewing the fully bloomed weeping cherry blossoms at Rikugien Garden. The next day, I explored Somei Yoshino Sakura Memorial Park near the station and Kyu-Furukawa Gardens before heading to Asukayama Park for an enriching stroll. Thank you for your hospitality!

    I had a pleasant stay.

    Although there was a small issue at first, the staff responded very sincerely, allowing us to stay with peace of mind. I was surprised by the courteous service of all the employees we interacted with during our stay. The room and amenities were neatly arranged. The transportation convenience is good, and there are many restaurants and convenience stores around, but the room was very quiet. I would like to use it again next time.

    It is convenient to be able to check in using a machine. At the end, a staff member at the front desk explained things, but frankly, it was unnecessary. I don't understand the point of checking in with a machine. If I have any questions, I will ask. When I went to the Room, there was hair stuck to the wall of the unit bath. It was unpleasant. The cleaning was not done properly. If you are going to speak to us at check-in, please ensure the cleaning is done properly. Please consider your priorities.

    It was good.

    I occasionally use the Hotel Mets chain, but among them, I felt Komagome was the best. The cleanliness of the Hotel and the responsiveness of the staff were pleasant. I will use it again.

    After renovation

    The interior of the room has changed quite a bit. The major change is that the power now turns off unless you insert a card key into the room. This is fine for this season, but during the summer, if you have a Multiple Night Stay, you might return to find the room too hot, which could significantly decrease satisfaction. The laundry Facility has improved, so this point is very disappointing. It might be just a coincidence, but I felt that the cleaning of the bathtub was not thorough.
