  The location and the...

  The location and the cleanliness of the Room were good, and overall we had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also delicious. However, around 11:00 p.m., there was a building-wide water outage, and the water suddenly stopped while I was in the shower. Since I was bathing at the time, my husband tried calling the front desk three times via the in-room phone but could not get through, so he went to the front desk in person to confirm what was happening. We were told that a water alarm had triggered a shutdown and that they had contacted a contractor. At that point, we explained that my wife was waiting covered in soap and asked what we should do, but we received no specific guidance—only “Please wait.” In the end, we requested additional bath towels ourselves, and only then was I able to wipe off the soap. At the time, we had no idea how long it would take to restore service, which caused significant anxiety and inconvenience. Also, despite it being a building-wide outage, there was no advance notice or general announcement; we felt it was unhelpful that we could not understand the situation unless we asked. Later, around 12:30 a.m. (about 1 hour and 30 minutes later), we were informed simply that “It has been restored,” without any apology. There were no alternative arrangements offered, and at checkout the next morning there was only a brief apology. While issues like this may be unavoidable at times, it was disappointing that there seemed to be little consideration for guests affected late at night—especially those in mid-shower—and that almost no concrete explanation or suggestions were provided. With this kind of response, I did not feel comfortable using this property again with peace of mind. I also expected a certain level of service by making my Reservation through IKYU.com (IKYU), so I found this experience particularly disappointing.

  Thank you very much for staying with us. We sincerely apologize for the late-night water outage that occurred during your stay, which caused you significant inconvenience and anxiety, especially while you were bathing. In particular, there is no excuse for the fact that we were not immediately reachable when you contacted the front desk, and that our explanation of the situation and guidance on specific actions were insufficient. Our consideration and response were seriously lacking. Due to an unexpected Facility failure, we were occupied with on-site checks, arranging repairs with a contractor, and responding to multiple calls from other guests, which delayed our communication at the front desk. We apologize again. We should have promptly informed all guests as soon as the outage occurred and clearly communicated the expected time of restoration as well as alternative support (such as distributing towels and providing temporary guidance). Instead, we ended up responding only after receiving your report, for which we are truly sorry. We also take very seriously that we did not provide an adequate apology or explanation after service was restored or at check-out. Your feedback clearly highlights shortcomings in our nighttime response system during unexpected Facility issues, how information is shared internally, and our ability to provide guidance tailored to each guest’s situation. We have shared this matter sincerely with all staff. Although you made your Reservation through IKYU and arrived with expectations, we regret that we betrayed your trust. Taking your comments to heart, we will continue to improve our Facility management and guest communication so that you can feel safe and comfortable in any situation. Thank you again for taking the time to share your valuable feedback.

  Good.

  Room is clean, front desk staff are polite, and breakfast is quite good. The price is also affordable, making it excellent overall.

  The front desk service is excellent.

  Despite being a Business Hotel, check-in was smooth with several staff members available. During check-out, although fewer staff were present, the handling of parcel services and luggage storage was quick, allowing me to comfortably catch the train to Yamadera. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast smoothies and side dishes were well-balanced and delicious. Conveniently located near the station.
