    Conveniently located near the port and Chinatown

    This is my second stay. It takes 1 hour and 50 minutes from Saitama Prefecture via the Minatomirai Line. The station is conveniently located just 3-4 minutes away. The breakfast is delicious, and the staff's hospitality is excellent. I would love to stay here again!

    The place was clean, but the smell was unpleasant.

    This was my first time at JAL CITY. The location is convenient, close to Nihon Odori and a convenience store. The Room had been renovated, but the bathroom smelled moldy, and the Room had a strong tobacco odor, making it uncomfortable to stay in. It felt like the smell couldn't be removed just by cleaning. I wouldn't want to stay at this Hotel again.

    JAL City Yokohama

    Due to work, my stay was mostly just for sleeping. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. The Room was compact but had a convenient layout and was comfortable. I might consider staying again if the price is reasonable.

    The bathroom was not clean! There were stains or rust in the bathtub, and the overall cleanliness of the water facilities was very disappointing.

    I had a comfortable stay without any issues.

    The Room is clean with comfortable beds and pillows. A humidifier is available, and all necessary amenities are provided. It is a perfect Hotel for a business stay. Thank you!

    Endure it because it's cheap?

    The price seemed quite reasonable, and since it was IKYU, I made the Reservation. I was allowed to enter the Room early, but perhaps that wasn't ideal as it was on a lower floor. Due to the Facility being old, there were issues like peeling wallpaper and stains. Of course, there was no prior notice about this. For those who are particular about cleanliness, how would you feel? You even have to refill the water in the air purifier yourself. The advantages are its proximity to the station and Chinatown!

    Breakfast is excellent.

    This was my first time using this Hotel, and everything from the service to check-out was top-notch. The breakfast, in particular, exceeded the level of a Business Hotel and felt more like a high-end tourist destination Hotel—completely surpassing my expectations in the best way possible. If my next planned date is available, I will definitely make a Reservation.

    Convenient Hotel Near Chinatown

    Convenient location for staying before a cruise or watching fireworks. The mini breakfast, especially the hamburgers, was delicious! However, considering the price, it would be nice if luggage could be delivered to the room. Dormy Inn still provides this service. Also, room cleaning was insufficient; I found trash from previous guests under the bed and dust clinging when reaching around the desk area. If these issues are improved, with its tasty breakfast and great location, I would love to stay again. Thank you!

    It was convenient.

    I used the Sports Support Plan, and it was very convenient for attending a game at Yokohama Stadium. The breakfast, including handmade burgers by the chef and seafood bowls, was delicious, though the variety was limited. The staff's service lived up to JAL's reputation with excellent training. A slightly brighter atmosphere might have made it feel more approachable. Unfortunately, the Room felt quite old and gave an impression of being unclean. The toilet had a lingering smell, and there was rust on the door. Since my stay was short, these issues were not a major problem overall.

    On the day of the Minato Mirai fireworks, accommodations in Yokohama were quite expensive, but this hotel offered a very reasonable price. The location is convenient for transportation. The room was a bit small and had a slight odor, but it was not an issue. Breakfast felt slightly limited in variety, but you can enjoy options like burgers and seafood bowls. I would love to stay here again if I have another opportunity.

    I used the service again after a long time. The barrier-free and spacious Room allowed me to relax. It was disappointing that there was only green tea and no coffee in the Room. The location near the station and the spacious Room made it comfortable, so I will use it again for business trips. Thank you very much.

    I chose this place for its convenient access. The service and breakfast truly lived up to the JAL brand, exceeding my expectations. Although the room did not have a view, it was clean and comfortable.

    Reviews are unreliable.

    I had stayed at JAL City in other locations before and chose this one partly because the Review on IKYU.com was good. However, upon stepping into the Room I was assigned, I found it extremely dirty. The Facility and desk were worn out, the walls were stained, and when I opened the window, there was no view—just an old building right next to it. The curtains were outdated and so shabby that I didn’t even want to touch them. I thought about whether I could tolerate it but decided it was impossible. When I requested a Room change at the front desk, they moved me to a better-maintained Room than the first one. Why did they assign such a terrible Room in the first place? Reflecting on it later, I realized that my initial interaction with an unfriendly front desk staff member might have been where things went wrong—it felt like bad luck. Overall, their service does not deserve any stars in a Review. It made me want to file a complaint.

    I stayed here for a theater visit. The location was very convenient, being close to the theater. The bed was large and extremely comfortable for one person. If I could make one request, it would be to have a coffee set available, which would make it perfect. I would love to stay here again if I have another chance to see a show.

    The location was extremely convenient.

    The Room is small, but the price is reasonable and sufficient. This is my second stay. The morning walk to the park is a nice distance, and the proximity to Chinatown makes this Hotel very convenient. I also enjoyed the breakfast; the hamburger was delicious.

    Easily accessible

    The building feels old but is well-maintained. Amenities are minimal, so bringing your own is recommended. I stayed in a double Room, which was spacious and comfortable. The location near the station makes access very convenient. Although the chef seemed unfriendly, the food was delicious. Other staff members were polite and attentive.

    The bright and friendly service was impressive. It's a hotel I would like to stay at again. The only disappointment was the additional charge incurred if you don't have a ticket for the event. It wasn't a discount but an extra fee, not an Accommodation Tax, but rather a penalty for not having an event ticket. I made the reservation by simply looking at the price and clicking the "Reserve" button next to it, but there was a catch. What seemed like an attractive price ended up being comparable to other hotels, leaving an unpleasant impression of their pricing system. Next time, careful selection of the Plan will be necessary.

    Breakfast

    I stayed for 4 nights, but I am not satisfied with this Facility's eco-policy. Used glasses and coffee cups were not replaced, and the bathroom was left uncleaned under the name of eco measures. This seems more like a cost-cutting measure than genuine eco-friendliness. How are we supposed to clean used cups without detergent? During breakfast, I happened to sit in a seat where I could see into the kitchen. I witnessed a chef tasting directly from the pot with the same ladle over 10 times—more like eating than tasting—and later realized that it was curry that I had been eating. This completely ruined my appetite, and I left my seat immediately. I brought this up with both restaurant and front desk staff, but their response was merely an apology: "We are sorry." It leaves me questioning whether any improvements will actually be made. I will never stay at this Hotel again! I regret not recording what happened.

    The surrounding environment is quiet and comfortable.

    Conveniently located within walking distance from the station, yet tucked away in a quiet alley, the Hotel offers a peaceful and relaxing stay. While the ideal for Japanese guests might be a bathroom with a separate washing area, as seen in recently opened JALCITY properties, the three-piece unit bath here is spacious and well-designed, allowing for comfortable use without major issues. We hope this can be considered as an improvement point during future room renovations. One minor disappointment was the television. Unlike smart TVs available at recently opened JALCITY properties that support apps like Amazon Prime Video, this TV does not offer such features. Additionally, its 32-inch size felt slightly small. We would greatly appreciate it if this could also be considered during future updates to amenities.

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night for a live concert at K Arena. Since it was last minute, hotels around Yokohama Station were overpriced, but I was relieved to be able to make a reservation at a reasonable price even with transfers. It was an ordinary business hotel, and it was nice to use the twin room as single use, but I thought the amenities were insufficient. Although there was a phone, there were no notepads or pens, and even if lotions and coffee weren't in the room, I wished they had been placed in a corner where guests could take them themselves.

    The handling of bags is disappointing.

    I was shocked to find my bag placed directly on the floor at the front desk when I picked it up from the cloakroom. I always make sure not to place my bag on the floor, so this kind of handling was truly disappointing. I hope improvements can be made, such as placing a sheet underneath.

    Quiet, Relaxing, and Comfortable Stay

    Within walking distance to Chinatown and the Red Brick Warehouse. It was also close to the station and quiet as it was slightly off the main street. The Room (twin) was compact yet very functional. I was surprised by the variety of breakfast options. Tortillas, seafood bowls, hamburgers... I was full from the morning. It was a comfortable trip for adult women.
