However, although you selected this room type yourself, we are sorry that its size left you feeling cramped and inconvenienced. The Small Twin Room you stayed in is a popular, affordable option that sells out quickly, as we have only six of these rooms. It has two beds in a room the same size as our Semi-Double Room, so, as you noted, it does feel very compact. We recommend this room type for budget-conscious guests.   The location is convenient for attending theater performances and similar events, so I use this property regularly.

  The rooms are clean and conveniently located for the theater, so I stay here often. The staff are kind and helpful, and I’m happy that the breakfast is delicious. However, the toothbrushes are too hard and hurt my gums, so I can’t use them. I sincerely hope you will also provide softer (regular-type) toothbrushes that guests can use. As with Takarazuka Hotel, I always have trouble with the toothbrushes. Thank you in advance.

  I knew it, but still.

  I was aware of the amenity policy. While I understand that some items may not be necessary, I would have liked at least cotton pads and cotton swabs. Also, despite the nice selection of drip coffee and many tea bags, it was honestly disappointing to have to drink them from plastic cups. If that’s the case, paper cups would be fine.

Regarding amenities, we apologize that the information displayed at the amenity bar is difficult to see. Cotton pads, cotton swabs, face care sets, and other items are available at the front desk, so please feel free to ask our staff if you need anything. As for drink cups, as we have mentioned in responses to other Reviews several times, from the perspective of promoting the SDGs and creating employment opportunities for people with disabilities, we outsource cup washing to a Facility where people with disabilities work. In addition, in order to reduce CO2 emissions generated during transportation when sending cups out for washing, we have adopted lightweight reusable cups. Of course, we understand there are opinions that customers should not be involved in a company’s SDGs initiatives, and it is true that similar views exist within our company as well. Each time we receive comments such as “disappointed,” we feel truly sorry. While this is a company decision and also relates to the livelihoods of people with disabilities—so it is not something that can be changed easily—we will always share customer feedback internally and continue exploring the best possible approach.   They kindly changed my Room to one facing east. On my way out, I forgot my phone at the front desk, and when I realized it after leaving the Hotel, a staff member ran after me to return it. Thank you so much despite being busy.

  Breakfast was disappointing.

  I gave it 4 stars, but for this price the breakfast quality didn’t feel worth it. The hotel itself is nice, so it was disappointing that the breakfast selection was limited. The hotel is good overall, but the plastic cups were a letdown… I’d rather have paper cups than plastic ones. The lower corner under the wooden refrigerator door was covered in dust, and the wallpaper where the trash bin is placed had drink stains and was very dirty.

  Please remember to bring your own toiletries for women.

  I stayed here for an errand along the Hibiya Line. It’s located across from the Imperial Hotel, and you can also walk from Yurakucho. The front desk is on the 2nd floor. Amenities are self-service from the counter next to the elevator: toothbrushes, hairbrushes, razors, and drinks (the tea selection from TEARTH was extensive). There were no cleansing oil or skincare items such as toner. The Room I stayed in was a Small Twin. There was no massage chair in this Room—only a cushion-type massager. The 15 m² space felt very tight, with limited room to move and nowhere convenient to place luggage. It was disappointing that there seemed to be something like sauce stuck on the TV remote. Breakfast was good, especially the dashi ochazuke and amazake.

On the other hand, we are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused by the Room size and layout, including finding space for your luggage. The Small Twin Room you stayed in is especially popular with guests who value cost performance, and with only six Rooms available, it tends to sell out quickly. As two beds are placed within a limited 15 m² space, it is indeed quite compact as you noted, and may not be ideal for guests traveling with a lot of luggage. We also sincerely apologize that there was dirt left on the TV remote control, which made you uncomfortable. This was due to an oversight during cleaning and should never have happened. We will share your comments with our housekeeping staff and work to ensure thorough cleaning down to every detail and prevent recurrence.   Well-located Hotel

  Located across from the Takarazuka Theatre and close to Hibiya Park, it’s also easy to reach Ginza via Miyuki-dori, so I use it often. I wish the breakfast were a bit more substantial.

  The bed springs are worn out.

  The location was convenient, so I made a Reservation and stayed here. I don’t mind if the Room is small, but when I sat on the bed, the springs kept making a creaking sound every time they moved, and the mattress felt uneven. When I lay down to sleep, the springs around my hips and back sank deeply and didn’t bounce back. My hips ended up lower than my legs, like an inverted “V.” Even when I turned over, it kept creaking and I could feel something hard pressing against me, so I couldn’t sleep well and checked out still exhausted. It may have just been that particular Room, but at the very least I wish the bed comfort had been better. (My weight is average!)

  Just a little more...

  I was very disappointed with how the lost item was handled.

  I stayed on August 20 and checked out around 12:00 on August 21 before returning home. Around 19:00 that day, after I got home, I realized I had left a diamond necklace in the Room where I stayed, so I immediately called the Hotel to check. The Hotel told me that no such lost item had been reported. However, since it might still have been in the guest Room, I asked them to check the Room. At that time, the next guest was staying in the Room, so they explained that they would check after that guest checked out the following day. Around 11:00 the next day, the Hotel called and said they had not found any lost item. After that, I also went to the Hotel myself to confirm, but the necklace was not found. I then consulted a lawyer and also asked the police to look into it; however, as of now, the necklace has not been found. Although I contacted the Hotel soon after checkout and requested that they check the guest Room as well, it is very upsetting and disappointing that its whereabouts remain unknown. I would have liked more detailed confirmation from the Hotel regarding cleaning procedures for that Room, who cleaned it, and any records of checks for lost items. At this point, I do not know where or when it went missing. However, because it was a valuable item, if something similar happens, I recommend that guests take extra care in managing their valuables themselves. I hope that if a similar situation occurs in future at this Hotel—when an item is left behind—they will handle checks and follow-up more carefully and transparently.

  Thank you very much for staying at remm Hibiya. We are truly sorry to hear that wo18’s cherished necklace has not been found, and we fully understand how anxious and disappointed you must feel. However, we cannot accept a post that implies the Hotel is at fault. In order to locate the necklace, we interviewed our housekeeping staff and supervisors, reviewed the security camera footage on the floor during cleaning from start to finish, spoke—despite the inconvenience—with the guest who stayed in your Room after your checkout when they departed, and searched the Room again after checkout. Our team worked together on this search at the expense of time and services that could otherwise have been provided to other guests. As it was still not found, we reported accordingly. We believe we responded sincerely and did everything reasonably possible. We were also very disappointed by remarks from wo18 suggesting suspicion toward our housekeeping staff. The housekeeping team at remm Hibiya takes great pride in their work. Every day during post-checkout cleaning, many lost items are found—including cash and valuables. Our staff reports every item without exception, even as little as 1 yen; obviously valuable jewelry and cash totaling tens of thousands of yen are always turned in as well. All items are registered in our lost-and-found management system with photos on the same day, and valuables are strictly secured in a safe. We have never before received such an extremely regrettable complaint regarding lost property. Your post also describes the situation as though the cause lies with the Hotel; however, it was wo18 who misplaced it somewhere. No one caused you to lose it, nor was it stolen during your stay. While we understand your desire to avoid facing this reality, attributing responsibility to the Hotel and making such an inconsiderate post is deeply regrettable. We strongly protest this post and firmly request its immediate removal. remm Hibiya Manager

  The massage chair is fantastic.

  There is no bathtub, but the massage chair and rain shower were very relaxing. The area is convenient, with many commercial facilities nearby and the station within easy reach.

  Having only a shower...

  Having only a shower feels a bit disappointing, though the hot water wasn’t cold. It might be tough in winter.\nSince the room is small, I guess it can’t be helped, but the tissues ran out quickly and there were no replacements, so I asked for more to be brought. They warmed up my bento for me. The bed was comfortable.

  Sleep soundly around Hibiya

  Close to Tokyo Midtown Hibiya and Ginza, it was a relaxing stay. There are also izakayas nearby, so you can easily head out for dinner in the evening. Amenities are picked up in the lobby before going to your room.

  The location is great.

  This was my second stay, and I chose it because of the great location. It was a twin corner room, but it felt a bit small. This may have been due to the massage chair, and I think it would be better without it.

  Compact yet functional

  Although it felt quite far as I walked from Yurakucho Station while searching for the way, once I arrived I found it to be a very convenient location—easy to find and comfortable. As soon as I went up to the lobby on the 2nd floor, the staff guided me and quickly took care of my luggage. My destination was on the opposite side of the Hotel, but I reached it in just a few minutes. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around the Hotel, making it very convenient, and the area has lots of greenery—it was a wonderful place. All of the Hotel staff were kind as well.   The location is excellent, but I was disappointed with the service and facilities.

  I traveled from the Kansai region to Tokyo for a memorial service and chose this property mainly for convenience, considering my elderly mother’s mobility. [What I liked] The location was simply excellent and extremely convenient for getting around. [What disappointed me] The massage chair in the room was broken. At check-in, the female front desk staff member’s attitude was very unpleasant. Even though I hadn’t asked anything, she responded in an irritated manner, saying, “Did I assist you?” and also treated me as if she doubted whether I actually had a reservation. Given how great the location is, it was very disappointing to see such poor service quality and facility maintenance. Perhaps it’s something you just have to accept as “you get what you pay for.”

  It felt cramped.

  This was my first time staying here. I was somewhat prepared based on other Reviews, but the Room was indeed small. Since we only needed a place to sleep after a concert at the International Forum, we chose it for the convenient location. I think it would be fine for a solo stay, but this time we stayed as a couple. I was also concerned about mold under the bath chair and on the tiles. The front desk staff were very courteous, and we had a pleasant stay. I think it’s a good option for staying alone.

  Excellent location.

  The location is excellent. Step outside and Hibiya Midtown is right in front of you, and Ginza is just a short walk away. The passage between Midtown and the Tokyo Takarazuka Theater has a lush, pleasant atmosphere. One highlight is said to be how comfortable the bed is (apparently “REM” in Remm Hibiya refers to REM sleep), and the bed was pleasantly firm; it was also nice to have a massage chair. I stayed in a queen Room, but it was quite small, and the bathroom has only a shower. Given the great location, that’s understandable. If the price is reasonable next time as well, I’d like to stay again. For breakfast, I didn’t try the buffet (a little over 2,000 yen), but I had the pasta lunch for 1,300 yen and it was fairly good.

  Your First Stay at Hibiya Business Hotel

  I stayed here for the first time to attend a concert at Tokyo International Forum. As mentioned in Reviews, the Room was very small, and I was disappointed that there were no instructions at all for the massage chair, so I couldn’t use it to relieve my tired legs. The drinks available at the front desk, such as coffee and tea packets, had a wide variety; I was especially happy they had decaf coffee. The shower also came with a chair, which made it easy to use.

  It was clean and nice.

  It was a Hotel in a great location with a pleasant surrounding area, close to places like Midtown Hibiya. The layout was stylish, and although the Room was small, I really liked the compact design with a shower only—the water pressure was just right and very comfortable. However, having the bed area immediately by the door felt a bit insecure from a safety standpoint. Since it’s a compact Room, that can’t really be helped. If you make sure to lock the door properly when you enter and stay mindful, it shouldn’t be much of a concern at Hotels in Japan. Also, I couldn’t hear voices from adjacent Rooms or any noise from the hallway—it was quiet. It’s very good for one person on a business trip, but it might feel a bit cramped for two people. Overall, I would highly recommend this Hotel.

  Great facilities

  This is feedback from my mother, who stayed with me. She said she would like to stay again if there is such a convenient Accommodation right in the middle of Hibiya. That said, she has a few comments. When making the Reservation shortly before our stay date, there were no other options available, so I booked two single-use Rooms. I noted in the remarks that we would be staying together, but we were assigned to the 4th and 7th floors. She found that somewhat inconvenient—were all nearby Rooms already taken? Also, her Room was cold. Even after turning up the air conditioner, it did not warm up and she couldn’t sleep. This could have been resolved if I or the front desk had been informed, but my elderly mother endured it. The Rooms are compact, but would it be possible to place an extra blanket in each Room? It’s true that as people get older, Hotel room temperatures can feel colder. At this price point in Tokyo today, we are very grateful to be able to stay here. I assume some services have been streamlined accordingly. For guests like me who are fine with that (I personally had no issues), it’s not a problem—but for elderly guests, I recommend staying in the same Room with someone who can assist them.

  Well-balanced accommodation

  The Room had everything we needed— a comfortable bed, a massage chair, and a sufficiently spacious bathroom—nothing more, nothing less. Since we stayed for just one night on a pleasant spring day, not having a bathtub was perfectly fine. Amenities are provided upon request for what you need, which avoids waste and is excellent. As we used a single Room, it was very quiet, perhaps because the surrounding Rooms were similar. The location was flawless: with the Imperial Hotel and Hibiya Midtown nearby and Ginza just steps away, it was convenient for both shopping and dining.

  Convenient for everything

  This was our annual trip with friends, and it was our first time staying overnight in Hibiya. The location offered convenient access in all directions, with plenty of dining options nearby, and we also enjoyed being close to Ginza and Hibiya Park. We were able to relax in a bright corner Room with a massage chair. We went in and out of the Hotel many times, and the front desk staff greeted us pleasantly each time.

  We had a relaxing stay.

  Amenities needed to be brought along, but I appreciated the wide variety of teas and that decaf coffee was available. The breakfast miso soup had plenty of taro and daikon, and it was delicious. I would have liked the curry to have more ingredients as well. Since there was only a shower booth, I think it would be better if there were a bathtub.

On the other hand, we regret that the bathtub Facility did not meet your expectations. Please note that our Semi-Double rooms unfortunately feature a shower booth only, and due to the room size, this cannot be changed; therefore, we would appreciate your understanding should you choose this room type again on your next stay.
