    Overall satisfied

    The front desk service was pleasant and left a great impression. The location was convenient, and the amenities—especially the coffee—were excellent. The hot and cold water dispensers on each floor were very helpful. Housekeeping was spotless with nothing to complain about. However, I would have preferred disposable slippers.

    Please make sure to have breakfast.

    This is my third stay at this Hotel, and I highly recommend including breakfast. The morning set menu is extensive, and every option is delicious. The highlight was the steak set meal for an additional 300 yen. It comes with four slices of marbled thin Wagyu beef on a hot plate, allowing you to cook it to your preference. Satisfying portion—highly recommended!

    The staff is kind and friendly, which is delightful.

    The staff were polite and had wonderful smiles. There were plenty of amenities, especially skincare products and face masks for women, which were very satisfying. It was fun to have a variety of tea bags available. Having water dispensers on each floor was reassuring. Overall, it made for a great trip. Thank you very much!

    We stayed for 4 cons...

    We stayed for 4 consecutive nights. At check-in, we were assisted by a female staff member who spoke Chinese, but her attitude felt very indifferent. For multiple night stays, it was explained that we could choose the cleaning method via the TV and select either "Clean" or "Do Not Clean." If no selection was made, it would be considered as "Do Not Clean." Additionally, it was explained that if "Do Not Clean" was selected, we could check for replenishment of amenities; however, there were no detailed explanations about trash disposal or handling of used towels. That night, we selected "Do Not Clean," but when we returned to the room the next day, there were no replenished amenities and neither cleaning nor replenishment had been done. As a result, we had to select "Clean" every day thereafter.

    Enjoy a hearty breakfast!

    The breakfast menu offers generous portions. The salad bar features a wide variety of vegetables. The lemon steak might feel a bit heavy for breakfast (haha)... This time, I chose the curry. It was delicious!

    Kiln-Cooked Rice Good

    Stayed as a family of three for my sister's birthday, using 2 Rooms. The Earl Grey cake surprise was delightful. Breakfast with freshly cooked rice was delicious. We were surprised to find one portion of mentaiko per person. Perhaps offering a choice of half, one, or a quarter portion might be better (felt sorry for not finishing it).

    Thank you for taking care of our luggage; it was a great help.

    I stayed for two non-consecutive nights as it was close to the bus stop for the international airport. When I explained my situation, they kindly stored my luggage and even placed it in my room upon my return, which was very helpful. On the last day, I arrived late and had dinner at the Hotel's restaurant. The staff were very polite, and I enjoyed a relaxing meal in a semi-private seating area. The breakfast is very popular and quite filling; unfortunately, I couldn't finish it all. It's a shame because there were so many options on the menu that I'd love to try next time. The building itself felt slightly old but was kept clean everywhere. It was my first time using ReFa, and I liked it so much that I'm considering buying one!

    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located, just two stops from the airport and about a 2-minute walk from Hakata Station. The amenities were well-equipped, the room was spacious, and the bed mattress was comfortable. I was very satisfied and would love to stay again next time.

    I stayed for a Multi...

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of 2 nights for a concert at PayPay Dome. The location is close to Hakata Station, with convenience stores nearby. I enjoyed a delicious Japanese breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor. Thank you very much!

    The amenities are excellent.

    On Sunday, I stayed in a double room with No Meals Included for just under 10,000 yen, so I didn't have high expectations. However, the Room was much more spacious than I anticipated! It was clean and well-maintained, and the front desk staff were Japanese, friendly, and efficient. The location is very convenient—just a short walk on flat roads from Hakata Station. I could leave my luggage at the front desk before check-in and go out. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of amenities. You can pick up what you need at the front desk; they even had face masks and drip coffee available! The hairdryer was Vidal Sassoon with sufficient airflow as well. If I had to point out any downsides: the air conditioning wasn't very effective (20°C on high felt just right), and my hair felt rough after using the provided shampoo and conditioner. But for this price? I'm extremely satisfied! I will definitely stay here again. Thank you very much!

    I had a comfortable stay, but...

    Richmond is a comfortable Hotel that I often use across the whole country. This time, I stayed in Hakata. The Room is not particularly spacious, but it’s adequately sized without any inconvenience. Even with an open suitcase, there’s enough space to move around. The air conditioning can be adjusted to your preferred temperature. The table has a triple-tap outlet, and there are outlets near the bed as well. Wi-Fi signal strength was excellent with no issues at all. Bathroom amenities are from the MIKIMOTO brand, which kept my hair smooth and in great condition. However, there were four points of concern during this stay: 1) There was quite a lot of dust—on top of the TV, on the amenity tray, and on black items like the table light where it stood out more prominently. The amenity tray had turned white from dust accumulation, and when I extended the arm of the folded table light, a significant amount of dust scattered. 2) On the table surface, there were two sticky spots that felt unpleasant—possibly from spilled juice by a previous guest. 3) There were two coffee cups provided; however, one had a crack running entirely around its handle that looked like it could break off at any moment. While it might still be usable for some people, we would typically dispose of such items at home. 4) The toilet seat was turned off electrically and felt cold when sitting down—it was quite surprising! Although it was a humid day outside and low heat might have sufficed due to its bidet function (washlet), having some warmth would have been appreciated if possible unless this is part of energy-saving measures. The front desk staff provided excellent service overall; apart from these four points mentioned above everything else about my stay was comfortable!

    The room had a pot and cups, but there were no tea bags. Additionally, the three people in our group were assigned to completely different floors. The key also did not work once and had to be replaced.

    Generally satisfied.

    The building is old but beautifully renovated, offering a clean and satisfying experience. If there were coffee or green tea provided in the Room, I would have given it a 5.

    Poor complaint handling.

    Multiple Night Stay. Although we informed that cleaning was unnecessary, the room was entered and regular cleaning was performed. We complained about how this completely differed from our expectations, but there was no empathetic response, only an apology. Staff training seems inadequate.

    Convenient location.

    The Shinkansen ticket gate was nearby, making it very convenient. The button on the Room wear was loose. While it could have been replaced, I decided not to request it as it was late at night. It would be appreciated if this could be checked when preparing the items.

    Used for a live event.

    Thank you for your hospitality. I stayed here during a live event. The staff were all wonderfully friendly, attentive, and kind, making this an accommodation I would definitely want to revisit. Recently, many accommodations seem to lack hospitality due to staff shortages, which I thought was just the times we live in. However, the staff here completely exceeded my expectations and truly embodied what a hotel should be like. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, there was no noise from outside at all, and its proximity to the station made it very convenient. I would love to stay here again when traveling to Hakata and also consider staying at other Richmond Hotels in different cities if available. Thank you very much!

    Please address the issue with the television.

    The TV's video app in the room suddenly stopped or restarted on its own, making it difficult to watch comfortably. I stayed for 4 nights, using Richmond hotels in both Fukuoka and Nagasaki. The Nagasaki location had no issues at all, so I believe this is a problem specific to the Hakata Room. For the sake of future guests, it might be good to address this issue. Other than that, everything was perfect. The staff were very kind and helpful—thank you!

    Amenities are excellent!!

    The amenities were amazing! What stood out the most were the bath salts and face masks! I usually don’t have time to use a face mask at home, so being able to relax and enjoy one during my trip was absolutely wonderful. It made me so happy! Also, the in-room coffee was delicious! I really appreciated the bath salts too! However, I wish there had been a bit more bath salts to match the amount of water in the tub.

    Excellent Access

    Located near JR and subway Hakata Station, it was very convenient from the airport. No complaints about the amenities or facilities. I will use it again.

    Due to inbound tourism, the accommodation fee has increased and become too expensive! A single room accommodation fee exceeding 20,000 yen on Saturdays seems unreasonable. We hope for more consideration towards Japanese guests.

    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located near Hakata Station and with easy access to Fukuoka Airport via the nearby subway. Smoking rooms are available, which is appreciated by smokers. Amenities can be picked up at the front desk as needed, which was very convenient.

    It was comfortable.

    It was very helpful that you stored our suitcases before check-in. All the staff were pleasant, and we had a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the twin rooms were fully booked, so my daughter and I stayed in a double room, but both the room and bed were spacious enough without feeling cramped. If I may say so, it would have been even better if the bathroom, washbasin, and toilet were separate.

    All high standards

    I travel for business trips to The whole country about twice a month and have stayed at many Hotels. First of all, this Hotel is very well-maintained in terms of cleanliness. The elevators and hallways leading to the Room are also thoroughly cleaned. While it is not a brand-new Facility, the level of cleanliness is truly impressive. The Room itself is meticulously cleaned, even in the finer details, with a properly equipped desk lamp and a user-friendly shower Facility. Breakfast was included, and both the taste and presentation were excellent, making it a Hotel where you can stay with peace of mind. I even searched for a list of locations of the group Hotels. It may not be flashy or luxurious, but I highly recommend it.

    Recommended for staying the night before an entrance exam.

    We stayed for my daughter's exam. The location near Hakata Station was convenient, and the Room had a desk and chair, as well as an LED light stand, which my daughter said made it easy to study. As for amenities, the hairdryer and shower head were Refa, which I think is a nice touch for women.

    Close and convenient.

    Conveniently located near Hakata Station, making check-in easy after a flight. After checking out, we were able to leave our luggage and purchase tickets for our next journey at Hakata Station with ease. Thank you for providing complimentary ice and drinking water.
