The road leading to the accommodation was very narrow, making it impossible for large vehicles. Although we tried to prepare in advance, even after attempting several different routes, it was not feasible. Reversing on the narrow road and causing inconvenience to neighbors made the experience stressful, and we ended up losing about an hour before arriving. In winter, nearby parking lots were available, but during summer this might have been difficult. Additionally, parking fees are not cheap. If we had been informed beforehand, our trip could have been much more enjoyable. While the response afterward was good, the stress before check-in was unfortunate. The house itself was very open and bright with wonderful facilities. The beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. It was perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. There were restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance as well as close access to the beach, which made it even better!

Regarding the road width leading to our facility, we had provided prior information in the questionnaire before completing the reservation, on the access page, and in the reservation confirmation email. This included details such as "approximately 225cm wide" and "a very narrow road where large vehicles might barely pass without folding mirrors." However, based on this experience, we have improved our descriptions to make them clearer. Additionally, while we have always emphasized narrow roads in our guidance materials including maps of directions, we have revised our site information and explanations provided on arrival. Specifically for vehicles wider than 1800mm where passage is particularly tight, we now actively recommend nearby coin parking options to ensure peace of mind for guests concerned about road width. We are truly grateful that your feedback has allowed us to make improvements that will provide greater reassurance to future guests. On a positive note, it was heartwarming to read that you enjoyed the comfort of your room as well as the surrounding environment and quiet weekend atmosphere. We stayed for one ni...
We stayed for one night as a family to celebrate my mother's 77th birthday. Although the weather was unfortunately rainy, we were able to spend a luxurious and happy time together in the spacious room and beautifully designed resort-like space. The terrace was seamlessly connected to the interior, offering a sense of openness and easy access, which we really appreciated. The wide roof also allowed us to enjoy the terrace even in the rain. My family was very pleased and said it was wonderful! Thank you so much.

A short extraordinary experience
We stayed here for a family trip. We arrived just in time for the last check-in slot with staff assistance, but they handled it very politely. The room was clean, but perhaps due to the nature of the old house, the drainage was weak, and both the kitchen and bathroom overflowed, which caused some struggles. I wish I had asked for instructions on using cleaning cloths and such. Dinner was a unique shabu-shabu, which seemed more suited for adults. The portions were generous, to the point where we couldn’t finish everything. The French toast for breakfast was delicious, but we couldn’t eat half of the salad, the sausage, or the eggs. As mentioned in the prior explanation, the garage and surrounding roads are narrow and a bit nerve-wracking, but the terrace inside is spacious. It was a short stay, but we were able to enjoy an extraordinary experience. Thank you very much.

First of all, we apologize for the inconvenience caused regarding the drainage. We will promptly address the issue with the bathroom. It seems that the drainage under the bathtub may have become clogged. We deeply apologize for this. As for the kitchen, it is likely that the drainage stocking is being used, which may have caused it to clog and drain slowly. Particularly in the case of dishes like shabu-shabu, small vegetable scraps can get stuck in the stocking, leading to drainage issues. Removing the stocking does allow the water to flow, but it does take some time. We will consider if there are any alternative solutions to this issue. We are relieved to hear that your stay overall allowed you to experience an extraordinary time. Even though it is an old traditional house, we will continue to make every effort to ensure that our guests can relax and stay comfortably without any concerns, even after a tiring day. I had an enjoyable stay.
In mid-September, I stayed for two nights with my family of three and one dog. The building had three bedrooms, a living room that seemed to be about 20 tatami mats in size, and a spacious deck, offering plenty of room and a sense of luxury that felt almost too extravagant for just three people. The interior and exterior were stylishly designed with a "white" theme, and many of the indoor appliances and furnishings seemed to be foreign-made, giving us the feeling of being at an overseas resort. Unlike a typical hotel, we only met the staff during check-in and check-out, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time as a family. When an accident occurred during our stay, the staff responded with great care, for which we are very grateful. By the way, the road leading up to the facility, as explained in advance by the facility, felt narrower than expected, but we managed to arrive safely.

Our facility is a renovated 80-year-old traditional house, created with the feeling of "this is how we would like to vacation." Although it is close to Tokyo, we aimed to create a place where you can forget your daily life as if you were in a distant foreign country, while still enjoying convenience. We are grateful that you and your family, along with your dog, enjoyed your stay. As you mentioned, since it is a vacation rental and not a hotel, it operates in a style where the entire facility is rented out. Recently, many people prefer not to meet others at their accommodation, and such guests are very pleased with our setup. In case of any issues with the facilities, we have many staff members in Hayama Town who can provide support over the phone, and in emergencies, we will visit to assist you, so you can rest assured during your stay. The road is indeed very narrow in the last section, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Originally, the facility did not have a parking lot, but we thought it would be more convenient to have one, so we prepared it. However, the narrow road may cause some anxiety. Most cars can pass through, but it might be a bit stressful due to the tight fit. We apologize for this. In any case, we are relieved to hear that you had an enjoyable time.
