I was healed.
Thank you for kindly accommodating the sudden change in shuttle service time on the day. I learned about this hotel while planning a trip to Shikoku, and after seeing the website, I decided to make a reservation as I really wanted to visit. The small island of Umajima, where vehicles other than those of residents are prohibited, is very quiet, and the calm waves in front of the hotel, along with the occasional passing ship, provide a wonderful escape from everyday life, offering a sense of tranquility. The hotel appears to have been renovated from a traditional inn, and while the exterior retains the charm of a minshuku, the rooms and dining area were very clean. The sashimi served at dinner was incredibly fresh and delicious. The all-inclusive drink service is also a great attraction. The staff were attentive and considerate, making the stay very comfortable. There is a private beach and a cave that can only be accessed during low tide, which was fun to explore. One night was not enough. I would love to visit again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Second stay
The previous stay was so great that this time I invited different friends to stay. My friends were also very satisfied. We relaxed on the private beach, listened to the sound of the waves, and enjoyed a nostalgic trip reminiscent of the 1930s. I recommended it, and they loved it, saying they want to come again. Next time, I want to bring my husband and relax. Thank you to all the staff who warmly welcome us every time we visit. We will visit again.

It was a property with nothing but relaxation.
I stayed with a friend of 30 years. The excitement didn't stop from the check-in on the boat. We enjoyed delicious wine and sour gummies on the private beach and were able to relax while listening to the sound of the waves. The food was all really delicious, and my friend seemed to like the sea bream rice. At night, we enjoyed our favorite beer and the beef tendon stew we were looking forward to. It was fun talking with the overseas guests who stayed with us. Above all, the service from the staff was excellent. We are planning to go again with the three of us. I am secretly planning to let my husband experience that relaxation as well. We will definitely visit again, so please take care of us then.

An accommodation to enjoy a relaxing extraordinary experience.
It starts with being picked up by a pleasure boat from Imabari Port. We arrived in about 15 minutes while talking about Umajima and the tidal currents. We checked in at the room while being guided around the facility. We also enjoyed welcome drink time by the beachside and a tour to climb the Kurushima Bridge. The view from the room and the many passing ships were also a sight to see. For dinner, the sashimi platter was delightful, and the main dish of beef with eggplant garnish was delicious! I was a bit concerned that the simmered fish and red miso soup were a little too spicy. For breakfast, I chose the Western style, and the sea bream carpaccio salad and bacon sausage were very tasty. I was able to leisurely enjoy island time. Unfortunately, it was raining on the way back, but we had a pleasant conversation while being driven to Imabari Station. Everyone was full of hospitality, and I was able to have a pleasant stay.

Thank you for taking care of us.
I wanted to cycle the Shimanami Kaido, so I researched Imabari and learned about Umashima and GRANPROOK Shimanami. I was intrigued by the island that requires a permit, and as I researched the hotel, I thought it seemed like a wonderful place to relax, so I chose it. From before our departure, we communicated about the pick-up, and during our stay, the staff treated us with great care. My main purpose was cycling the Shimanami Kaido, but since it was a trip with my elderly mother, they suggested places that both of us could enjoy, making it a highly satisfying trip. I believe that both my mother and I were able to enjoy it thanks to the thoughtfulness of the staff. The champagne on the deck while gazing at the sea became an unforgettable memory. It seemed to bring back memories for my mother of the beach in Saipan during her childhood. She was delighted with the meals and the scenery, making it a fulfilling 3-day, 2-night trip. Thank you very much. Someday again...

The view was breathtaking, and the hospitality was top-notch! We started our Shimanami Kaido journey from Onomichi, and I'm really glad we chose this place to stay!

A beloved accommodation you fall in love with more each visit
Thank you once again for your hospitality. This is a rare accommodation that gets better with every visit. Thank you for the shaving kit as well! "Welcome back!" "I'm home!" And when it's time to leave, it's so hard to say goodbye, making me want to return again. This is truly an accommodation that makes you feel this way. The scenery is a luxurious companion for enjoying drinks or tea time. Watching the ever-changing views inspires me to keep going with renewed energy. I also enjoyed chatting during the welcome bar time. The staff are overflowing with kindness and thoughtfulness in every way. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! (The dinner and breakfast are always something I look forward to! Don’t miss the egg-over-rice made with Ehime's mikan eggs—it’s available at the drink counter.)
