  Open-air bath

  Even though we were on the top floor, it rained unfortunately. We couldn’t enjoy the open-air bath or the terrace.

  There are serious safety concerns.

  I booked a Plan with early check-in at 2:00 PM and late check-out at 12:00 PM, but at reception I was told, “Check-in starts at 3:00 PM.” During my stay, a stranger entered my Room, which was very alarming. Since the guest room uses a password entry system, I worried that the same password might be set for multiple rooms and felt unsafe. I recommend keeping the door locked. Also, although check-out was supposed to be 12:00 PM, housekeeping entered the Room around 11:30 AM. They asked in a casual manner, “What time is check-out?” When I told them it was 12:00 PM, they left, but the whole situation was shocking. I felt extremely concerned about safety due to operations that allow unauthorized entry while guests are still in the Room. There was a clear gap between what was listed and the actual service and security management, and it was not an environment where I could stay with peace of mind. I will never stay here again.

  Thank you very much for choosing our Hotel. We sincerely and deeply apologize for the discomfort and concern you experienced during your stay. You had made a Reservation under a Plan that includes early check-in at 14:00 and late check-out at 12:00. We should have provided accurate guidance in accordance with this, but we regret that incorrect information was given at the front desk. We also apologize for the incidents in which another guest mistakenly entered your Room, and in which our housekeeping staff entered before your check-out time. These situations should never occur, and we are truly sorry for the shock and anxiety they caused you. We also apologize for the housekeeping staff’s response and language, as our training was insufficient. We take your feedback seriously and will work to prevent any recurrence by ensuring consistent check-in guidance, reviewing Room management and housekeeping operations, and strengthening staff training. Thank you again for taking the time to share your valuable comments. We deeply regret that we were unable to provide the comfortable and secure stay you deserved.

  Staying on higher fl...

  Staying on higher floors feels unnecessary. The biggest drawback is the lack of a view from the window. Room cleanliness needs improvement. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent, providing a very comfortable shower experience.

  Not available for Japanese guests.

  First of all, the cleaning was not done at all. The Japanese-style room was full of hair, so I borrowed a vacuum cleaner to clean it myself, and when I tried to lay out the futon, there was mold! The staff's response was pleasant, which makes it even more disappointing. If Ikyu continues to introduce such Hotels, I will not be able to use your service in the future. Please conduct thorough investigations before making recommendations!
