Rinn Premium Yae

I used it for a trip with friends.

I used this property for a trip with friends (total of 5 people) at the end of the year. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of the facility and cost performance, but I will note my impressions below. - Good points ① Excellent insulation and soundproofing performance. I have stayed at other properties in Kyoto city that have been renovated from traditional townhouses, but many of them seem to have weak insulation due to their nature. Among them, this Rinn Premium Yae had solid insulation, and even though it was a stay at the end of the year, the inside of the house was very warm. The entrance area also had floor heating, which showed consideration. The soundproofing was also solid, and I was not bothered by outside noise. ② Good quality bedding The configuration is two rooms with futons and one bedroom, and the futons are firm, allowing for a comfortable sleep. ③ High-quality bath The bathroom is spacious, and you can stretch your legs and soak in the tub. The changing room is not cold either. - Unsatisfactory points ① Poor connection between the living room and kitchen The connection is poor because you cannot go to the kitchen from the living room without going through the entrance area. You need to wear the provided slippers or shoes in the entrance area. Incidentally, you also need to go through the entrance area to get to the bath. ② Small workspace in the kitchen Although the kitchen has a two-burner IH stove, there is little space to work, so it might be a bit difficult for serious self-catering. The provided cooking utensils are only a worn-out frying pan and a small pot, so it seems that self-catering in the kitchen is not really intended. (There is a microwave and electric kettle available) ③ The living room is a bit small The living room is only one 6-tatami mat room with a sunken kotatsu, and the rest are bedrooms, so you might feel a bit cramped if staying with a large group. ④ Need to go to a different location from the property to check in Since the facility's key is a card key, I had to check in at the Rinn hotel front near Kyoto Station to receive it. There is the advantage that it is within walking distance from this facility, and they will carry your luggage to the facility, but I feel it would be more convenient if you could enter the facility directly by providing a dial key number or similar.
