Family trip with three families with children
Good points about staying in Building B
- The pool, jacuzzi, and hot spring can be accessed in swimwear, allowing for long hours of fun without getting cold even in bad weather.
- There is an indoor bath that can be accessed directly from the terrace, providing a good flow.
- The pool automatically refills when the water level drops.
- The bedroom had about four long cushions, which were useful for filling the gaps in the bed to let children sleep comfortably.
- Towels and amenities were well-provided. The children were delighted with a panda bag containing a notepad, toothbrush, and a thin panda-patterned towel.
- The trash bin was large and stored in the wall, so there was no concern about smell or obstruction.
- A child’s chair was available, making meals easier.
- There were two toilets, so even with a large group, there was no waiting.
- There were two hairdryer sinks, which was reassuring with a larger number of women.
- The appliances were well-equipped, and the refrigerator was particularly large, allowing us to bring food for three families.
- There was a karaoke microphone, which the children enjoyed.
- The pool lights up at night, which delighted the children.
Areas for improvement
- The changing room, washbasin, and toilet were in the same space without partitions, which made the men feel uncomfortable, so partitions would have been nice.
- The tiles at the pool exit were unfinished, so rubber would be safer for children.
- There were many ants outside the entrance, indoors, and in the bedroom, so it would have been nice if they had been exterminated in advance.
- Although there was a washing machine, there was no clothesline, making it difficult to dry clothes (indoor drying resulted in a musty smell).
- Detergent was provided, but fabric softener would have been appreciated.
- When starting the washing machine in wash-dry mode without having used it before, it failed to dry due to an error, possibly from clogged dust.
- The information center for check-in and check-out was far from the villa and uphill, which was tiring. It would be convenient if staff could come, or if it could be done by phone or online.
- It would be appreciated if there were kids' menus or more affordable options around 3,000 yen per person for dinner.
- Although we had requested a baby crib by phone in advance, it was not there upon arrival, so we had to call again to have it brought, which was inconvenient.
