    I stayed here recent...

    I stayed here recently. The meals used many ingredients from Awaji, and everything was very delicious. I was satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. Items I dislike and any allergens were properly removed. It was a bit disappointing that there were no Facilities such as an Onsen. Also, there was no explanation in advance about how to use the coffee server; I had to ask, and it felt like “sure, go ahead.” As for the staff, some could respond flexibly while others stuck strictly to the manual and couldn’t adapt, which left me confused. I also planned to have some of the drinks in the reception building, but when I turned the tap for the lemon(?) fruit-infused drink, there were many insects gathered around the faucet (maybe because it’s sweet). They all flew off at once and it really put me off. Given how much greenery there is here, it’s understandable that there are insects—but wasn’t this something you already knew would happen? I think you should take preventive measures. Also, the ceiling in my Room was far too bright from early morning, so I couldn’t sleep. Honestly, I don’t think I would stay again.

    During your stay, we made a Reservation for next year.

    We stayed with our dog. It was our first time here, and we were so satisfied that we made a Reservation for next year during our stay. There is no Onsen, but the Room was spacious and very clean. The sukiyaki dinner on the first night was outstanding, and it was a new way of eating it for us. We stayed two nights, and we were truly impressed that on the second night not only the main dish but everything from the appetizers onward was a completely different menu. All of the staff were friendly, and we had a very comfortable stay. We look forward to coming back next year.

    Thank you for your prompt response in emergencies.

    We stayed on January 2nd as three families. When the 4-year-old child with us developed a fever at night, we consulted the staff. They explained the emergency ambulance situation and reassured us that we could contact them anytime during the night for assistance. They also kindly provided oral rehydration solution OS-1. Thankfully, by the next morning, the fever subsided, and we were relieved. The staff even prepared jelly for breakfast with care and attention to detail. We are deeply grateful for their warm-hearted support throughout our stay. All other services were also handled pleasantly and professionally—thank you so much! This was our second stay here, and we definitely want to come back again in the future. The facility is clean, all meals are delicious, and its location is convenient, allowing us to have a very comfortable experience overall.

    It was great.

    First trip with my dog and father I was happy to remember my dog's name. The hospitality and service were excellent. The bath facility was great as well. Meals may vary by individual preference, but I found them delicious.

    The Room had some co...

    The Room had some concerns, particularly the hinoki bath, which seemed to have mold or discoloration in various places. The black stains inside the bathtub were especially surprising. Additionally, I was looking forward to the upgraded meal Plan, but... was this really premium??? Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. However, the staff's excellent service more than made up for the disappointment.

    It became the perfect gift!

    Thank you, Grand Chariot Hokutoshichisei 135°! Last year, we stayed for the first time to celebrate my son's birthday. Although it was a bit disappointing due to the rain, the room and food were amazing. This year, I gifted a stay for my father's birthday. From start to finish, he kept telling me how much fun he had, how wonderful everything was, and how delicious the food was!! He even said multiple times that he wanted to stay another night!!! I wish I could have tried the sea urchin hot pot too.

    That's unfortunate.

    We visited with the hope of enjoying stargazing, but unfortunately, it rained, and we couldn't see the stars. However, the terrace of our room offered a stunning view, and we could clearly see the beautiful sunset. The location was also great; if you go to the observatory a bit further in, you can enjoy an amazing night view of Kobe. Back in our room, it was designed so that you could enjoy clear views without interference from city lights—this was very impressive. There were two disappointing points and one suggestion for improvement: **Disappointments:** 1. **The Food** While I enjoyed the delicate flavors of some dishes on offer, there was an issue with the sukiyaki—it was clearly burnt. Despite this mishap being obvious (smoke and a strong burnt smell filled the air as soon as they opened the pot), service continued as if nothing had happened. The taste ended up being bitter too. While I understand how busy it must have been with many guests present that day, this experience left me disappointed. 2. **Staff Response** I requested to ship my luggage from your accommodation via Yamato on the morning of my checkout (27th). Since I used round-trip delivery service through Yamato beforehand, all that needed to be done at your end was sending out my luggage directly from your facility. However: by 7–9 PM on 28th—the designated delivery time—my luggage still hadn’t arrived! Upon checking Yamato’s website myself during this delay period...it turned out no record existed regarding shipment registration whatsoever yet either?! When calling back into contact w/your team later same-day evening instead though? They confirmed having already dropped off said items over @local collection point earlier prior—but beyond such steps taken thus far themselves? Couldn’t explain why delays persisted further downstream logistics-wise thereafter either way ultimately speaking overall here now today still unresolvedly frustratingly enough altogether sadly indeed unfortunately :( Then finally receiving follow-up call next day again instead however only hearing brief update stating simply “Your package has just been sent today” without providing any additional clarification/explanation behind reasons causing original miscommunication/delay issues occurring between dates spanning across entire timeline sequence events leading up until now altogether disappointingly unclear/unresolved feeling left lingering unsatisfactorily unresolved impression overall :( **Suggestion for Improvement:** During events like Nijigen no Mori activities where themed arrangements are made in rooms for guests’ enjoyment—it would be nice if simpler room options were also available alongside these special setups too sometimes perhaps maybe even ideally ideally ideally please pretty please thankyouverymuchkindregardsappreciativelygratefullysincerelyetc

    It was excellent.

    The staff were very friendly, kind, and impressive with their warm smiles. The meals were delicious. The flute performance during the meal was romantic and delightful. The service was excellent, and even though it was my second visit, I felt like coming back again. The shuttle service to Nijigen no Mori was very convenient. Everything was wonderful!

    The World of Anime

    I stayed in the Demon Slayer collaboration room. The atmosphere of the Demon Slayer world was perfectly recreated, which made me very excited. The room was, of course, wonderful, but the lounge was also stylish, and the welcome sweets were delicious. Breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and was very satisfying. However, it was a bit disappointing that dinner only consisted of a beef hot pot bento box. I would have preferred regular meals instead of sticking to the Demon Slayer theme for dinner! During the day, I enjoyed attractions at Nijigen no Mori and participated in the Demon Slayer Night Walk in the evening, fully immersing myself in a day filled with Demon Slayer experiences. However, for smokers, there is no smoking area available within the facility, so you will need shuttle service to go outside each time.

    Service could be improved...

    Three major complaints: ① After completing the check-in process at the reception building, we were guided to our cocoon (room), but it seemed like we had to carry our own luggage. While one of our two bags was carried by staff, we had to carry the other ourselves. Traveling with a small child in the scorching summer heat and walking uphill felt unreasonable. At the very least, it would have been helpful if they informed us about the approximate distance or time required to reach the cocoon. Later, when heading to dinner at the restaurant building, I noticed another guest being assisted by staff carrying multiple pieces of luggage, which made me feel even more disappointed. ② Regarding meals at the restaurant building: despite it being midsummer, lukewarm water was served. Although there were plenty of staff members present, they didn’t seem attentive enough as water refills weren’t provided unless requested. Additionally, apart from explanations about dishes, other information was insufficient—such as noticing a coffee server near the exit only after finishing our meal and not being informed that coffee was available after dining. ③ Before meals or events, guests are asked to gather at the reception building; however, there were inconsistencies in explanations given during check-in compared to what actually happened. For instance, while we weren’t told that Western-style breakfast options were available during check-in discussions with us personally—other groups (two parties) did receive this explanation. It seems that service quality depends on individual staff members’ capabilities; however, considering we are paying a significant amount for this accommodation experience—we expect appropriate service standards accordingly.

    Our Third Stay at Grand Chariot

    This time, I had listed ingredients I dislike in the comment section on IKYU, so a staff member asked me about it at check-in. I explained again in person, but perhaps it was not communicated to the kitchen, as the dish still clearly contained those ingredients... (Since they were not allergy-related ingredients, were they excluded from the request...?) I had expected them to be removed in advance, so I felt a bit disappointed. Aside from that, the food was delicious and the portion size was satisfying. The bathroom had a pleasant woody scent, but there were areas where the wood seemed to be rotting—turning pitch black and starting to chip away—so I felt it could have been kept a bit cleaner.

    The Room was very spacious and lovely! Unfortunately, due to heavy rain, we couldn't see the starry sky or the scenery. Dinner was sea urchin hot pot, which was absolutely delicious. The welcome snacks were also tasty, and they provided two bottles of wine and other drinks for free! The bathtub seemed to have been used for a long time, so we decided not to use it.

    We had a wonderful stay.

    The staff provided excellent service, from the warm welcome and reception to guiding us to our Room. The Room matched the concept perfectly, and the luxurious perks made our stay truly enjoyable. The dinner was delightful, with delicious meat and elegant live music. During Christmas, there was a special event where Santa came to give a present to our daughter. Although it didn’t need translation into English, we accidentally mentioned it was from her parents, which was slightly disappointing. There were lights installed on the terrace; however, when we asked the front desk about the switch location, they said there were no lights. The next morning we found the switch and turned it on. It was a bit unfortunate that we couldn’t enjoy the terrace ambiance at night. Overall though, we were very satisfied with our stay and are already looking forward to staying again as a family!

    It was a wonderful accommodation stay.

    I didn't know it was located inside Nijigen no Mori. However, I always thought it looked wonderful from the photos, so being able to visit for a family celebration made for a truly memorable experience. We brought our beloved dog along, and all the staff were so kind that he seemed to enjoy himself the entire time. The hotel had a charming hidden-village-like atmosphere, with comfortable beds and skylights above that made us feel incredibly happy. On our way back, despite packing carefully in advance, we ended up forgetting something important and caused some trouble for the staff. Their response was excellent, and I feel like the best way to repay their kindness is by visiting again someday. This is definitely a hotel I want to return to!

    Receiving a call in advance was very helpful! The birthday decorations I requested 2-3 days prior were perfectly arranged, and the staff cooperated to make the surprise a success!     Silver Wedding Anniversary Trip

    We stayed here to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. From the warm welcome at the parking lot to the moment we checked out, the staff provided exceptional hospitality, making it a truly memorable experience. The night walk we joined right after arriving was enjoyable, even though neither of us is familiar with anime. It turned out to be a nice pre-dinner activity. The meals were outstanding and left both our hearts and stomachs completely satisfied! Thank you for preparing an anniversary cake for dessert and taking a commemorative photo for us during dinner. The cottage was quiet and allowed us to relax fully. Although the bath couldn't reheat water, which made refilling feel slightly wasteful, we ended up refilling it several times anyway. There seemed to be a humidifier near the bedside, but as we weren’t sure how to use it, we turned off the air conditioner while sleeping to prevent dryness in our throats—it wasn’t too cold at all during the night. The night view from the observatory was stunning! While stargazing from our cottage wasn’t ideal this time, I’d love to visit again on another special occasion!

    The Ultimate Glamping Experience

    I stayed in November. Each room is independent, making it a very quiet and atmospheric glamping facility. The meals were luxurious, satisfying in both quality and quantity. The service was excellent, allowing me to enjoy my stay without any stress. I will definitely visit again.

    The best accommodation in the country for family stays!

    We stayed as a family of three with our elementary school-aged daughter. The view from the porch and the atmosphere of the room were excellent, allowing us to have a very comfortable stay. Additionally, every staff member kindly interacted with our lively daughter, whether it was during pick-up and drop-off at the parking lot, meal times, or assistance at the reception hall—everything was perfect. We will definitely return again. Thank you so much to all the staff!

    Amid the tranquility of nature, I am always moved by the warm smiles and attentive hospitality of the staff. During this visit, a friend who accompanied me fell ill, which was an unexpected challenge. Despite this, you kindly accommodated both my wish to let the children play and enjoy themselves and my hope for my friend to rest and recover peacefully.
