Thank you for all the luxuries.
We had the pleasure of welcoming the New Year with exceptional cuisine crafted by the chef, excellent management, and warm hospitality from the staff. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy two days of creative dishes made with carefully selected ingredients from Munakata. The pumpkin potage was truly remarkable. We look forward to visiting again to experience another unforgettable moment.

A luxurious blend of Japanese and Western styles
A beautifully renovated space that retains the charm of a traditional Japanese house. Every corner is clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. The Room was spacious with a lovely Japanese ambiance. The welcome sweets, handmade pudding by the chef, were delicious. The bath is outdoors and features a rare Goemon-style tub, offering an extraordinary experience to enjoy peaceful moments. Dinner was an exceptional French cuisine experience. Using plenty of local ingredients from Munakata, it offered unique flavors you can only find here. The chef's personality added to the charm, especially with the "surprise dessert"—a must-try when you visit. Breakfast exceeded expectations as well; the miso soup was particularly unforgettable. It's something you need to taste yourself rather than hear about. This auberge is highly recommended for those seeking quiet luxury and indulgence.

An Extraordinary Experience Just One Hour from Hakata
The former sake brewery building features a café, charcoal grill, and French cuisine, offering an exclusive experience as only one group of guests is accommodated at a time. The atmosphere of the accommodation combines the charm of a traditional Japanese house with modern furniture for both comfort and style. The evening French dinner was exceptional, with impressive presentation and ambiance that provided an extraordinary experience in Munakata, leaving us feeling refreshed. Although located in a suburban residential area, it offers such an extraordinary experience that it was perfect for celebrating special occasions. The cuisine highlights the fresh seafood and mountain produce of Munakata, prepared with seasonal ingredients that showcase the chef's creativity and storytelling skills. Portions were just right, seasoning was exquisite, and every dish was thoroughly enjoyable until the last bite. The next morning's breakfast featured simple yet flavorful simmered dishes made from fresh ingredients—perfect to start the day. The wood-fired Goemon bath warmed us to our core like an onsen would; even after stepping out, we continued to sweat as if all toxins had been released from our bodies—a lightness akin to post-treatment relaxation followed. This is an auberge you'll want to visit regularly!
