  Stunning Views

  I stayed during Golden Week. The uphill path to the Hotel was challenging, but the view was amazing. However, the age of the property is noticeable. The tatami in the Room was moldy, so I slept in a spot without it, but even then, some wallpaper was peeling off—maintenance could be better. The bath and changing area were small compared to the number of guest rooms, and it was overcrowded. It was my first time waiting for a washing space while standing naked due to lack of space. The dining area was also cramped with long lines, but the food quality itself was good. Although Reviews were mixed, they gave us a warm send-off and even took photos at departure—the service overall felt attentive and polite.

Although the uphill path to our hotel may have been challenging, we were delighted to read your comment that "the view was excellent." Furthermore, while there seem to have been mixed reviews regarding this aspect in other reviews, we are grateful for your kind words about our "polite service." In particular, we regret hearing about mold on the tatami mats in your room and peeling wallpaper. While it is true that some parts of our facility show their age, it is clear that maintenance efforts fell short of ensuring a comfortable experience for you. We take these comments seriously and will promptly inspect and address these issues while strengthening overall maintenance practices. We also apologize for the overcrowding in both the bath area and dressing room due to limited space relative to the number of rooms during this busy period. Although structural limitations exist during peak times like Golden Week, we will explore measures such as improving usage flow at washing areas or implementing strategies to alleviate congestion. Regarding the dining area as well, we regret any inconvenience caused by its limited space or queues. To ensure smoother operations moving forward, adjustments will be made in seating arrangements and guidance methods. We sincerely hope this experience does not deter you from visiting us again if an opportunity arises in the future. Based on your feedback from this visit, improvements will be implemented so that next time can offer an even more satisfying stay with us.   Perhaps because it was after a three-day weekend, the place was quite empty, allowing us to enjoy the bath and meals at a leisurely pace. We were satisfied with the reasonable rates.

  Breathtaking views could be seen from the guest rooms and the bathhouse.

  We stayed as a couple in October. The location was excellent, offering breathtaking views from the guest rooms and the bath. Perhaps due to the old Facility, the air conditioning in the room was set to 22°, but it was very hot, and we woke up several times during the night. In the morning, both of us had sore noses and dry throats. It was very disappointing despite the great location.

  There was a post about the staff being foreigners, but

  The dining area was mostly filled with foreigners, but they were doing their best to understand Japanese! The scenery was superb, and the stargazing tour was a great satisfaction as I got to see the Milky Way for the first time in a while and received detailed explanations of the constellations!
