    Accommodation for both humans and dogs to enjoy

    We stayed with 6 people plus 1 dog. Even though we checked in early, the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay, and our entire family was very satisfied. The front desk, room, onsen, and dog run were all clean and well-maintained. The meals were delicious, leaving us fully satisfied with wonderful memories. Our dog enjoyed the food as well but had a bit too much for an older dog and experienced some stomach issues after returning home—something we will be more mindful of next time. However, this is undoubtedly a facility where dogs can also have a great time! We would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!

    I stayed for one night and two days.

    At check-in, a photo of your dog is taken, and during your stay, the photo is displayed on the monitor in the lobby. You can also receive cookies made with that photo or create items like licenses, making it a wonderful hotel for creating memories with your dog. The bath isn't very large, but it offers great views and allows you to relax. With an all-inclusive plan, meals and ice cream for dogs are provided, as well as diapers, which was extremely helpful. Above all, the staff were incredibly kind to dogs and made our stay delightful!

    This is my first time using Wan's Resort.

    This was our first time staying at Wan's Resort. The warm welcome, check-in process conducted while seated at a table instead of a counter, the refreshments provided during check-in, and even treats for our dog made for a delightful experience. All the staff were smiling and very kind to dogs. Numerous activities kept us entertained. As a dog-friendly accommodation, there are multiple dog runs and even course-style dinners for dogs that truly captivate guests' hearts. One of the highlights is the 24-hour free drink service, including alcohol, unique to this accommodation. Enjoying a beer before dinner while watching our excited dog play outside was simply perfect. The room’s refrigerator was stocked with drinks as well, and on the first floor, we could enjoy authentic espresso. The 11:00 AM checkout time is also appreciated—it allowed us to relax in the Onsen after breakfast. While the price is slightly high, using IKYU discounts makes it feel like excellent value for money. Next month we plan to visit Wan's Resort in Yamanakako! This location features a restaurant serving foie gras—something we're really looking forward to!

    The exterior has a slightly retro feel, but once inside the Hotel, the interior is beautifully designed with a refreshing blue theme. The staff provided exceptional service. All the meals were absolutely delicious. Our dog seemed very satisfied as well, and our whole family had a wonderful time. Our daughter has food allergies, but the staff handled it with great care, allowing us to enjoy our meals with peace of mind. It was an excellent Hotel that we would love to visit again!

    Dogs First

    Every staff member at the Hotel showed great affection towards dogs, making it a wonderful place to stay. While the Facility is undeniably old, the excellent service more than makes up for it. I would love to visit again.

    A paradise for dog lovers where everything is dog-first.

    Although many places claim to be dog-friendly, they often require dogs to stay in separate Rooms or cages. However, this place was the complete opposite. From the moment we arrived, there were many dogs freely walking around, and it was truly a happy experience. While the bath and meals may not fully justify the price, it’s worth it for how comfortably our dogs could enjoy their time here. Even the dogs could choose their main dish, served in a Le Creuset bowl. Breakfast options were also available for them. Additionally, there was a photo service that allowed us to take home adorable memories of our stay. Thank you very much!

    The sign truly reflects the experience.

    Truly, it was a resort for dogs. Of course, it was also kind to humans. Facility amenities, supplies, meals, and hospitality were all excellent! If the Onsen had a bit more traditional charm or atmosphere, it would be perfect.

    Stay for two in celebration of a birthday.

    We stayed at the accommodation with our two large dogs, weighing 11kg and 20kg. The building may be old, but the interior was kept very clean. Although we arrived earlier than scheduled, we were warmly welcomed. Most of the other guests had small dogs, which made us a bit anxious at first, but the staff were considerate and arranged seats for us at the corner of the restaurant during both dinner and breakfast. The staff provided excellent service and promptly assisted when there was an issue with the keychain-making machine. In the space where you can create keychains or dog licenses, there is a sofa and a small indoor dog run area where we enjoyed chatting with other guests about our pets while making keychains—it was such a delightful experience! It’s rare to have opportunities to interact with other guests like this. Nearby, there is also a drink bar area as well as dog food available—such thoughtful services! You can easily access an artificial turf dog run outside where tools for cleaning up after your pet are provided. Additionally, foot-wiping towels of just the right size are prepared for entering back inside—this was especially helpful for us as owners of large dogs. Every detail showed great care and attention from the staff. The meals were delicious, and they even prepared a special cake for our dog's birthday celebration. On our first day it was cloudy; on our second day it rained—but if it had been sunny, I’m sure we would have enjoyed wonderful views from our room. Traveling with dogs (especially larger ones like ours) often comes with unexpected challenges that make owners nervous about potential mishaps—but thanks to this accommodation's thoughtful services, we had an incredibly enjoyable stay without any worries.     We stayed with 3 adults and 2 dogs. The Room was spacious and very clean, allowing us to relax comfortably. The meals were also delicious! We will definitely stay again.

    It's been a while since my last visit.

    I was surprised to see many changes when I revisited after several years. The shift to an all-inclusive system was a positive change, but the lounge drinks (especially cold tea with just tea bags submerged) and snacks felt a bit cheap. On the other hand, I appreciated that the dog meals were not just dog food but offered various options. Our dog doesn’t usually eat commercial dog food and enjoys homemade meals, so it seemed like our pet also enjoyed "dining out." The bath temperature was perfect for me, so I give it a thumbs up. However, having to bring towels every time was inconvenient. As for human meals, I could see the effort put into them, but they felt somewhat incomplete. Also, not being able to wear indoor clothes during meals was bothersome. The next day had great weather, so we took a walk around the facility. During my previous visit, hassaku orange picking was very enjoyable; however, this time the area had significantly shrunk and there were no hassaku oranges in sight—quite disappointing. Perhaps it would have been more enjoyable if we visited during the right season. Recently within three months or so, we stayed at Wanwan Paradise Izukogen and Wan’s Resort Yamanakako as well as Jogasaki Coast accommodations. Unfortunately, none of them stood out with any particularly strong points that made me say “this is it!” Among them though, Izukogen seems to offer the best value for money. I plan to explore more accommodations in the Izu area moving forward and hope they continue improving!

    Perfect Accommodation for Guests with Dogs

    The property is spacious and luxurious, possibly originally a retreat facility. There are several dog runs, and the scenery is beautiful. The Room was clean, but the entrance felt slightly narrow, so I rated it 4 stars. The dinner course was very delicious. The dog course was also luxurious. For small dogs, the portion seemed a bit too much; it would be nice if they could adjust the size accordingly. On the other hand, the breakfast galette had a mass-produced feel and tasted somewhat disappointing. Overall, with great hospitality, this Hotel is very comfortable for guests traveling with dogs.

    First-time use

    I was worried that the reservation might not have been made because I did not receive a confirmation email before my stay, so I called to check on the morning of the day. The meals were very delicious, and the room was spacious and comfortable, but the unit bath was a bit disappointing. The large public bath was very clean, and I used it twice in the morning and evening. Also, I thought that services like making keychains or licenses for my beloved dog were perfect for creating memories and were wonderful. Thank you very much.

    I am satisfied.

    Both dinner and breakfast were extremely delicious and very satisfying. We were also very satisfied with the amenities and services for our dog. One disappointing aspect was that the indoor bath and toilet were combined. (It was unfortunate that the washbasin was together with the toilet.) We would like to visit again in the summer.

    The artificial turf ...

    The artificial turf dog run was managed more beautifully than expected. The free drink supply was replenished frequently. It was available for use 24 hours without inconvenience. The male staff lacked a spirit of service. (Some exceptions apply) The female staff were very attentive with smiles, so why can't the men do the same? It's unfortunate that some seem not to like dogs in the first place. As a dog-friendly Stays, there is a lack of hospitality and consideration to ensure convenience even with dogs, such as using a dog sheet at night and needing it again the next morning. The building is old, so it has been renovated, but there are still some inconveniences. The menu changes for meals are limited to very few allergies, and I think expanding the options by at least creating one vegetarian menu would be beneficial.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    It was a wonderful location with a view of the sea. Everything felt dog-first, with walking supplies and paw wipes prepared at the entrance, making it easy to go for a walk empty-handed. There was also a dog run in the middle of the mandarin orchard, and my beloved dog seemed to enjoy running around there all the time. Additionally, there was a playroom at the bottom of the hill, where we had a private session playing with agility equipment. All the meals were delicious, and my dog devoured them instantly, so it seemed we were both very satisfied. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the dog amenities provided. We will definitely visit again!
