    Excellent value-for-money Hotel

    This was my second stay, having visited before when it was “Wans Resort Jogasaki Coast.” It’s a recently popular all-inclusive Accommodation. The Room didn’t have an ocean view, but since I was able to stay on a budget, it didn’t bother me. Everything was very clean and left a great impression. The bathroom and toilet show their age, but they are well maintained and thoroughly cleaned. The large Onsen bath has a very spacious tub and the water is on the hotter side. I could also see the sea, so I enjoyed it twice—both evening and morning. The restaurant also has great views, and the food was delicious. The all-you-can-drink option is especially welcome for those who like to have a few drinks with their meal (at other Hotels, a glass of beer can cost 1,000 yen, and even about 100 ml of wine can be 1,500 yen or more). Also worth noting: dog treats are free, and drinks in the lounge are free as well. It’s wonderful that not only beer but also whisky is included at no extra charge. If I had to mention two minor negatives: (1) There is no Shuttle Service to/from the parking lot (no pick-up or drop-off). Check-in is done standing up, so those used to luxury Accommodations might find that slightly disappointing—but it’s something you can accept here. (2) The staff are kind, but they don’t come across as particularly affectionate with dogs (it feels more by-the-book). Repeat guests who know what to expect likely won’t mind at all. Izu offers an amazing drive from the Tokyo area with beautiful scenery along the way, and I’d love to return to this Hotel again and again.

    Have a great time.

    The food was delicious, and everything was truly dog-first—handmade keychains, photo sessions, and even a gift of dog-face cookies were all wonderful. We would definitely love to visit again.

    Enjoy delicious meals with your dog.

    After arriving, we relaxed in the lounge with drinks and snacks. For dogs, amazake and ice cream are provided. The meals were delicious, and the sashimi was especially fresh. Drinks are all-you-can-drink, so you can enjoy plenty. The Room was clean and very nice, but the air conditioner airflow blew directly toward our faces, so we adjusted our position to make it more comfortable. We were able to spend a very relaxing holiday.

    The best pet Hotel ever.

    Completely satisfied with everything.

    - The entire property and the private rooms are clean, with no pet odor and no shedding hair left behind. - Meals: Both presentation and taste were more than satisfying. - Dog meals: The ingredients and portions are clearly listed, which is reassuring. It’s also convenient to have options other than dry food without additives. - The artificial-turf dog run was clean, and even after rain my dog’s paws didn’t get dirty. - During our stay, the names and photos of the dogs staying were shown on a screen (with prior consent), which made it easy to strike up conversations with other owners we got to know. - The lounge’s complimentary drinks (including a wide variety of alcohol) were available anytime, which was a nice perk. - We loved the gift of cookies for humans printed with our dog’s photo—too cute to eat, but a wonderful keepsake. - The staff were kind and thoughtful—for example, when we requested a dog bed, they also lent us towels so we wouldn’t be bothered by other dogs’ scents. --- Highly recommended.     We stayed one night ...

    We stayed one night in Atami Izusan and another night here on the second day. We have stayed before, but this was our first visit since the renovation. One group had a dog that kept barking nonstop—both at the dog run and during meals—so I thought it might scare our dog, but perhaps because ours is now a senior, he didn’t seem bothered even with other dogs barking, which was a relief. We also ordered a meal for our dog, and it must have been very tasty—he got so excited. Our dinner was also extremely delicious, and we were very satisfied. Previously there wasn’t any tea in the lounge, but this time they had tea bags as well, so we really enjoyed it. The only points I deducted were that one indoor dog run area was closed during our stay and there is no open-air bath. We would definitely like to stay again.

    Because of the typhoon, we extended our stay.

    We originally planned to stay for one night, but due to the typhoon, we ended up staying an additional night in the same Room at short notice. Thanks to your support, we were able to relax with our dog without rushing, and we truly appreciated it. Thank you very much.

    Recommended for dogs of all sizes, from small to large!

    This was my third stay. I choose this Accommodation every time because I can feel at ease even when traveling with my dog. The dog amenities are very well stocked, and it truly feels like a dog-friendly Accommodation. This time we stayed for two nights during a typhoon, but the Room was so comfortable that we were able to relax and take it easy with our dog. During a Multiple Night Stay, you tend to spend more time in the Room, so I would be even happier if there were lunch or light snack services. Many of the other guests were wonderful as well, and we could exchange tips and information that only fellow dog lovers would know. The staff were also very kind, and once again we had a pleasant stay. It’s a wonderful Accommodation where you can spend precious time with your dog in comfort. We will definitely be back! Thank you very much.

    We had a great time.

    We stayed for two nights in a Japanese-Western style room with three adults and our dog, and it was spacious and comfortable. We were able to relax well. The bath was clean and nice, but the hair dryer’s airflow was too weak, so my hair didn’t dry completely. Also, my husband said the men’s bath was too hot to stay in for long. Sorry for the feedback. The meals were very delicious, and we enjoyed them a lot. We look forward to staying again in the future when we visit.

    We were very satisfied.

    We stayed here for a birthday trip for my wife and our dog. From our dog’s perspective, the dog run facilities were excellent—especially the artificial turf area, which stayed clean no matter how much he rolled around. The all-you-can-eat treats were also great. From a human perspective, every Facility was spotless and very comfortable. The meals were delicious, and the all-you-can-drink alcohol option was a nice bonus. The panoramic view from the terrace was amazing. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you to all the staff.

    A highly satisfying accommodation!

    Although we arrived late, we were smoothly guided to dinner. We usually bring our dog’s food, but the ingredients were clearly listed, so we decided to order it this time… It was set at the table with us, and our dog was thrilled. Our meal was also a delicious French course. With an all-inclusive plan and unlimited drinks, an indoor dog run, a photo spot, keychain-making, and the Onsen, there was plenty to enjoy in the evening without getting bored. The next morning, the outdoor dog run and the view from the Onsen were amazing! We also enjoyed the egg dishes at breakfast and relaxed until the 11:00 check-out time… The Room was clean, the staff were very friendly, and as a pet-first Accommodation we could stay with peace of mind—making it a wonderful memory.

    Since April 14 was our Shiba Inu’s birthday, you kindly prepared an unexpected birthday gift, a cake, and more. We were both delighted and truly grateful for your thoughtful hospitality. Unfortunately, it rained and we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful scenery, but we were able to let our dog play in the indoor dog run. Also, because of the rain we arrived much earlier than the check-in time, yet you welcomed us warmly and kindly, which was a great help. We would love to visit again on a sunny day and use the outdoor dog run. The Facility was also very clean, and we had a comfortable stay.

    Issues with restaurant service

    Following our stay last autumn, we stayed again for one night over a three-day weekend. Since the renovation, it was disappointing that our dog’s meals now have to be ordered separately (for a fee), and that the wine selection for the lounge free-flow has changed. I believe there was an “upgrade to sirloin steak to celebrate the renovation,” but there was no explanation at check-in. At the restaurant, the way dishes were explained varied depending on the staff member (some explained in detail, others said nothing), which was also disappointing. When we ordered red wine for the meat, it arrived around the time we had finished eating. When we asked for water and more bread, neither arrived for quite a while; when we asked again, we were told, “The bread is being baked.” It seemed to finish baking afterward, but it still didn’t reach us by the window-side table in a timely manner, so we declined it (it was served to the neighboring table even though they hadn’t requested it). All staff are very friendly toward dogs, there is an Onsen, and both the Facility and amenities are exceptionally well provided—we really like this Accommodation. We understand that at a dog-first Accommodation, humans may sometimes come second. However, when traveling with a dog, dining options are limited. We look forward to dinner each night and would like to see improved service quality (it’s especially unfortunate because the food is delicious).

    Dog-Friendly Accommodation Where Your Pup Comes First

    This Accommodation truly put dogs first, from the service to the spacious dog run. We arrived late due to traffic, but they smoothly adjusted our dinner time, which was a huge help. The dog run was also large, and our dog seemed really happy! lol Because our dog is shy around strangers, we had them stay in the Room during meals. We really appreciated being allowed to take only our dog’s meal back to the Room. Also, we were able to sleep comfortably since Child Sharing Existing Bedding was allowed as long as our dog wore a belly band. I didn’t realize there is always a bathing tax, and my husband ended up using the Room shower instead—so it was disappointing that we only noticed at checkout...! Now that we understand that part too, we’d like to come back and try again!

    We planned this trip as it was our dog’s birthday month. From check-in to check-out, everything was well taken care of, and we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay throughout.     What happened?

    This was my third stay at this accommodation, but I noticed some concerns this time. First, during check-in, there was no one at the front desk. The free drink corner also seemed to lack regular restocking by staff, which wasn’t the case before. Additionally, the welcome drink has changed—no more of that delicious mandarin orange juice. The free treats for dogs were disappointing compared to before; previously, they offered high-quality options like Orijen or Acana food. As for the human meals: appetizers included shimeji and king oyster mushrooms; lobster was served as a half portion; and the carpaccio fish lacked freshness. Overall, the quality of the dishes has declined significantly, which was disappointing since we prioritize good food when choosing accommodations. Even our dog's meal seemed less appealing than before—it used to include items like potatoes that looked more appetizing. I understand there may be financial considerations involved in these changes, but it feels like cost-cutting has gone too far this time. Knowing how great it used to be makes it all the more disheartening. I truly hope this beloved accommodation continues operating and returns to its previous standards in both cuisine and service quality!

    Overall, it was a good experience, but there are a few areas for improvement. During our Multiple Night Stay, the breakfast lacked variety, and there were no alternative options provided for my wife who cannot eat eggs. Additionally, the front desk was understaffed, which caused delays during check-out.

    A dog-friendly accommodation. However, it was disappointing that both the main dishes for dinner, the fish dish with spiny lobster and the meat dish, were served cold. Since these dishes should have been delicious, we hope more effort is made in temperature management.

    We visited from December 7th to 8th and had a relaxing and enjoyable time with our dog. This was our second visit, and the meals were delicious. With the inclusive drinks, we were able to fully enjoy alcohol without any worries. We look forward to visiting again!

    Upon arrival at the drop-off area, the staff greeted us with smiles while rolling a luggage cart, leaving a strong impression. During our stay, every staff member was cheerful and made our experience pleasant. Both the indoor and outdoor dog runs were well-maintained and enjoyable to use. The food was very delicious with just the right portions. However, while meals for dogs were also provided, it was disappointing that they were served cold. With the all-inclusive service, we received cherished items like custom dog photo cookies and keychains. The variety of drinks available was satisfying; however, it was unfortunate that the beer server could not be used late at night. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and would love to visit again!

    Both humans and dogs...

    Both humans and dogs had an amazing time. Thanks to the all-inclusive service, we were able to let our beloved dog enjoy the accommodation's meals for the first time. Everything seemed delicious, and our dog was very satisfied. I also tried amazake for the first time. The artificial turf in the dog run was great as it kept our dog's paws clean. The sunrise view from in front of the restaurant was breathtaking. For humans, we enjoyed free drinks at the lounge along with chocolates, cookies, and snacks like Kaki-no-Tane. The large public bath allowed us to relax leisurely, and we could also admire a beautiful morning glow. Dinner was at a French restaurant where drinks were also complimentary. Breakfast featured freshly baked croissants that were absolutely delicious. We had fun making keychains and license cards too! We used the trimming room by reservation—it usually takes us a lot of effort, but thanks to excellent facilities, it finished quickly without any fuss from our dog. There were plenty of citrus fruits growing beautifully around which made walking enjoyable as well! It made me think about visiting again when mandarins are perfectly ripe. The staff members were very friendly and cheerful; their warm hospitality allowed us to feel completely at ease during our stay. We created so many wonderful memories here—thank you so much for everything!

    Your dog will be fully satisfied!

    Thank you for your hospitality. The meals and treats for our dog were excellent, and the indoor dog run in the separate building was enjoyable. However, we were very disappointed to find chlorine tablets (round ones) at the bottom of the bath. While we understand it is for water quality management, such practices are no longer common even in elementary schools (where dissolvable methods are used instead). For dinner, while Ise lobster was served, its taste was underwhelming (just sour...), and the carpaccio had a fishy smell. We hope these two points can be improved.

    About the Cuisine

    - The dinner was delicious, especially the beef. It would have been nice to have more locally sourced ingredients from Izu. The meal for our dog was also well-received, and we enjoyed dining together. - Breakfast was not buffet-style; I chose poached eggs over quiche, but it wasn't very satisfying. A buffet option with Japanese dishes would have been preferable. - The entire facility is pet-friendly, and there is a dog run, making it an excellent environment for dogs. It would be better if the Onsen facilities or the room baths were more enhanced.

    Stayed on November 5th.

    Thank you very much. We had a relaxing stay. This was our first time using the all-inclusive service. ① It would be great if there were more varieties of alcohol available. ② For the evening free drinks, it would be nice to have tomato juice (available in the morning). ③ The breakfast selection feels a bit less abundant compared to before. The bath was very clean and pleasant. This Hotel was where we stayed for the first time about 6-7 years ago during a trip with our dog, so we hope to visit Izu once a year from now on.     Overall, it was excellent.

    We stayed for one night with our family and dog friends. The staff kindly seated us together during meals and arranged our Rooms next to each other, which we greatly appreciated. The Rooms, restaurant, and large public bath were all very clean and well-maintained, with no unpleasant odors in the Room. The meals were delicious, and being all-inclusive, we could order alcohol without hesitation. We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay even with our dogs. However, there were a few disappointing moments. First, during check-in, the staff took photos of our dogs and gave us cookies printed with the pictures. Unfortunately, one of our four dogs was missing from the print, while another dog appeared twice. While we understand this could happen due to their similar appearances, it was a bit disappointing. Additionally, during dinner, we were told that soup, a main dish, and dessert would be served for the dogs. We selected the main dish and eagerly waited for it. However, after the soup was served, the main dish did not arrive for a long time. Our dogs became restless and started whining. When we finally asked a passing staff member about it, they casually replied, "Yes, we’ll bring it if you let us know." We were surprised as this information had not been communicated to us beforehand. It was upsetting to see our dogs waiting while we ate in front of them. At breakfast, although the salad and main dish for humans were served promptly, the bread did not arrive. By the time we were almost done with the main dish, fruit was served. When we mentioned that the bread hadn’t arrived yet, the response was unenthusiastic. When the bread finally came, there was no apology or acknowledgment for the delay. Instead, they asked if everyone would eat it, as if it were an extra order. This left us feeling a bit dissatisfied. (The lack of explanation during dinner was also not addressed.) Overall, it was a wonderful Hotel, but these issues were quite disappointing. We hope the staff will keep in mind that first-time guests may not know what to expect and provide clearer communication in the future.

    I would love to visit again.

    Dinner for our dog took a long time to arrive, and our little one was barking while waiting. We didn’t realize we had to ask for it to be served, which made us feel a bit sorry for them. For breakfast, we were enjoying the egg dishes while wondering if there was any bread. When dessert arrived, we asked about the bread and were told it was available. We would have loved to enjoy the delicious egg dishes with bread together! Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect!

    Both Dogs and Owners Will Be Fully Satisfied!

    The location and facilities were excellent. The services for dogs were also wonderful. Did the dog enjoy it? Or was it a bit overwhelming? Either way, as a dog-loving owner, I was completely satisfied. It was great that dogs could walk freely everywhere. I’ve already recommended this place to my friends who have dogs. I’d love to visit again when I get the chance!

    An accommodation that delights both people and dogs

    We visited to celebrate our beloved dog's 1st birthday! The dog-first policy, allowing us to spend time with our dog anywhere in the accommodation, and the all-inclusive service, including meals and alcohol for humans, were key factors in our decision. The room was beautifully maintained with no trace of any "dog smell" at all. We also loved the bright and warm interior design. Although we thought we checked in early, there are so many activities like a dog run and fun options for humans that we highly recommend arriving as early as possible! The meals we were looking forward to were all delicious, and the drinks complemented them perfectly. Even the meal for our dog was thoughtfully prepared as a course meal, which warmed our hearts. Not only were the staff wonderful, but other guests staying at this accommodation were also dog lovers. It was heartwarming to see dogs enjoying themselves together at the dog run or shared lounge spaces. We will definitely visit again! Though this review is late, thank you for providing us with such enjoyable moments and memories!
