    The view of Mount Fu...

    The view of Mount Fuji from the Room was amazing! The rooftop view was also great, and we could see Mount Fuji. We were impressed by the snow-capped Mount Fuji! The bath was average, which was a bit disappointing. The meals were excellent! The Hotel was clean as well! Thank you very much.

    The Long-Awaited One's Resort Yamanakako

    We chose One's Resort Yamanakako for our trip to Lake Yamanaka. Due to weather and work, it was hard to find the right date, but finally, the day arrived. As mentioned in the reviews, the scenery was beautiful, and the staff's hospitality made our stay comfortable and worry-free. We were impressed by the Sky Dog Run, making it a truly satisfying trip for both us and our dog. Thank you very much!

    The Room was cold.

    Despite the air conditioning being on full blast, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling cold, perhaps because it was January. However, I was comforted by the view of Mount Fuji from the rooftop and the warmth of the hot spring bath.

    Satisfaction comes first for pets.

    The dog run is very clean and luxurious, with indoor, rooftop, and outdoor areas. Our dog was so happy! The view of Mount Fuji is stunning!

    Disappointing

    I stayed for one night. I filled out the questionnaire attached to the Room about things I noticed and was disappointed with, but there was no response at all. I wonder if it was necessary to write my email address here.

    It is specialized for stays with beloved dogs, and in that sense, I think it was very accommodating. The service was also courteous. Above all, I felt that the staff really love dogs, which was great. Mount Fuji (Fujisan) was beautiful and impressive. I would like to use it again if there is another opportunity.

    A Hotel Full of Memories with Our Late Beloved Dog

    A month ago, I lost my beloved dog and was feeling down, but I stayed here as part of a trip to enjoy sightseeing with views of Mount Fuji. Seeing other guests with their lively and well-trained dogs gave me some comfort. This was my fifth stay, but the Room I stayed in this time did not have a shower or bathtub. Also, I remember there used to be amenities like face masks and hairbrushes, but they were no longer provided. Regarding the bath (Onsen), I wondered if the water was truly sourced from an Onsen, as it didn’t have the usual slippery texture, which left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. Additionally, my companion couldn’t eat raw seafood during dinner, and while substitutions were accommodated upon request in the past, this time no changes were made, which was disappointing. Other than that, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. The staff, as always, were pleasant and provided excellent service.

    Despite having enough staff, the reception process was not smooth. The tissue box for humans and the sheet box for dogs in the guest room had only 1-2 sheets left. I would like thorough checking and replenishment during room cleaning. Facilities like the dog run were well-equipped, and they were accommodating towards dogs.

    The perfect property for guests with dogs

    I stayed at Wan’s Resort Yamanakako in Yamanakako Village, Yamanashi Prefecture. As the name suggests, this property is specialized for guests with dogs, and since all other guests also have dogs, you can enjoy your stay without worrying if your dog makes a little noise. The room was the size and had the amenities of a business hotel, but the big point was that you could have your dog as a child sharing existing bedding. The meals were French courses, allowing you to enjoy delicious food without any stiffness. There was a wide variety of meals for dogs, and my pet seemed satisfied. The highlight of the facility is the rooftop dog run. You can let your dog play while enjoying views of Mt. Fuji, providing a pleasant time for both the owner and the pet. The proximity to Lake Yamanaka makes for good access. The onsen is about the size of a large bath in a business hotel, so it might not satisfy those seeking luxury, but the charm of this property lies elsewhere, so it's not an issue. It is a recommended stay for those who want to enjoy a casual trip with their dog.

    Stays, meals, and customer service were satisfactory, but...

    Thank you for your hospitality. The stay, meals, and service were excellent with a dog-first approach, but the photography service was disappointing. We purchased three photos (one was free) out of consideration for your effort, but we were shocked and very disappointed by the cheap quality of the photos. Although it was advertised as taken by a professional photographer, the photo paper was of poor quality, and the images were coarse, making it hard to believe they were worth 1,000 yen each. (The quality was completely different from what we saw on the computer.) We were in a rush during the checkout process and didn't have time to file a complaint, so we paid and left the hotel, but it left us with a truly disappointing feeling. We hope for a review (improvement) as it seems to be an additional service that lowers the overall quality of the hotel.

    Hotel where you can enjoy with your dog

    I found this place under the condition that I could stay with my pet, and I was able to enjoy the meal at ease since my pet could be with me during dining as well. The view of Mt. Fuji is superb. The atmosphere is nice, and I would like to stay again.

    Thank you for having us for the first time. Dinner was absolutely delicious. With all the help from your staff, we had a wonderful time. Due to my lack of confirmation, I was disappointed that there was no bath in the Room. The weather wasn’t great and I thought we might not be able to see Mt. Fuji, but it cleared up in the morning and we were happy to see a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. Our dog, who isn’t used to being around other dogs, also seemed to enjoy the dog run. Thank you very much.

    Wan's Resort Yamanakako for the first time in four years

    This time, I stayed at the property for the first time in four years. Last time, I stayed during the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic, but I had a good impression from that stay, so I decided to stay again this time. Last time, I stayed with a 13-year-old M Dachshund and a 4-year-old Yorkie, but four years have passed since then, and now I was able to travel with a 17-year-old, an 8-year-old, and an additional 1-year-old M Dachshund. During this stay, the good impression from last time remained unchanged, and I was well taken care of. The dog run and other facilities were renovated and became even more beautiful. The meals were as delicious as ever, and I was able to spend a pleasant time with the food, facilities, and onsen. Last time, there was a game where you search for items and get prizes, but it wasn't there this time, which was a bit disappointing. I hope it will be revived. (I was a little excited thinking, "Last time there was that game, this time the search locations might have changed.") The staff at the reception and restaurant were all kind, and I felt glad to have come again. I would like to stay here again for a trip in this area. Thank you very much.

    We made wonderful memories.

    I used it to celebrate my beloved dog's birthday. It was not a hotel where you can stay with your dog, but a hotel for staying with your dog, and it was a very good hotel with a dog-first approach. The room does not have a bath or shower, so you have to use the large public bath or borrow a shower room, which is a bit inconvenient, but other than that, the dog run, amenities, service, and meals were all very satisfying. It is a hotel that makes me want to use it again. Thank you for the wonderful memories.
