    This was our first s...

    This was our first stay. The meals at the restaurant were delicious and very satisfying. At dinner there was plenty of space, so we had enough distance from other dogs, but at breakfast all the tables were taken and we were more aware of how close other dogs were. We thought partitions would have been helpful. Because the weather was bad, it was great to be able to use the indoor dog run so our dog could play even without going for a walk. The dog amenities were also well stocked. This applies to any Accommodation, but if dogs are allowed on the bed, it would be helpful to have a ramp or steps.

    Perfect satisfaction for both dogs and people

    Above all, it’s cool and comfortable, very dog-first, and there’s a large dog run and pool Facility nearby. The food is delicious, and the baths are very clean—overall a perfect score. However, for commemorative photos, it would be better if guests could purchase selected photos as well as the full data set.

    Amazing view of Mt. Fuji.

    Two nights with my family during summer vacation in a Mt. Fuji view Room. A relaxing trip with our dog. Mt. Fuji looked beautiful in the morning. Choosing a Mt. Fuji view Room was absolutely the right decision. Lake Yamanaka was cool and perfect for a summer getaway. The outdoor dog run was clean, and we had a great time playing. The rooftop dog run was especially stunning, with the contrast between the blue flooring and Mt. Fuji. Breakfast and dinner were delicious as well. However, after two nights we started craving rice. It would be nice to have steamed white rice at breakfast in addition to bread. One thing that bothered us was the smell when we first entered the Room. Turning the air purifier up to MAX helped quite a bit, but... That was the only downside—overall we were satisfied. This has become one of the Hotels we’d like to return to. Thank you very much.

    I traveled because I...

    I traveled because I wanted to let my three dogs run around and play freely! Unfortunately, two typhoons were approaching during our stay, but the indoor dog run meant all three could run as much as they wanted and were in great spirits. Since we were worried about the weather, we arrived at the Hotel early, and being able to use the indoor dog run was a big help. Both the dinner course and breakfast were delicious, and since this trip also celebrated our wedding anniversary, we were very satisfied. On our way home, our family talked about how we hope it will be sunny next time—and we’re already looking forward to returning. I was surprised at how fast the front desk explanation was at check-in, but the restaurant staff provided very courteous service and made our time truly enjoyable. Thank you very much.

    This was my first time staying at a Hotel with my dog, and I was very satisfied with how dog-friendly it was. The meals were delicious to me, and the Room was clean, so I had a wonderful holiday. If I have any friends going to Lake Yamanaka, I would definitely recommend it. Thank you very much!

    We had a great time.

    At the indoor and outdoor dog runs, even our dog—who doesn’t usually run much—was happily running around! The Hotel also had a very dog-first atmosphere, and it was extremely comfortable. The food was a local French full-course meal, and every dish was delicious. I was especially surprised by how smooth the sweet potato potage was—it had been carefully strained. It was our first time visiting Lake Yamanaka with our dog, and I wish we had researched more in advance so we could plan better, but the weather was great, Mt. Fuji looked beautiful, and we had a wonderful time. We’d love to visit again in summer. Thank you very much!

    Simple Accommodation

    The room was very clean and simple, and I was satisfied. Although there wasn't much storage space even for light luggage, I managed to make do. There is no bath in the room, so you can use the large public bath (Onsen). The provided loungewear was comfortable and easy to wear. For those staying with No Meals Included, there was a microwave available (I didn't know this beforehand, so I preheated food at the supermarket). The rooftop dog run in the morning offers a great view. You can see Mount Fuji without any obstructions. I took some amazing photos!

    Recommended for stays with dogs.

    We use the Fuji Mountain View 3-Person Room every year. We are very satisfied with the staff, facilities, and meals. If there is one point for improvement, the shower booth, toilet, and sink in this room are combined into one space, making it cramped and inconvenient to use. Is it assumed that guests primarily use the public bath? We feel it might be better to use the shared toilet instead of the one in the room. It would be great if this could be made more user-friendly. We look forward to staying again!

    Stayed with a family...

    Stayed with a family of four and one Chihuahua. The staff's kind hospitality, the clean room, and the well-equipped amenities were excellent. At the front desk, there was a board displaying the breeds (with descriptions) and names of the dogs staying that day, as well as an electronic screen showing optional photos. It was delightful to see the dogs we met at the dog run or restaurant. It was an anniversary trip, but even though we hadn't mentioned it in advance, they noticed during check-in. In our room, there was a thoughtful message and a towel art shaped like our dog. They also wrote a message on a dessert plate for us—it made us very happy. We would love to visit again!

    Highly Satisfied

    This has been my favorite accommodation since the time of my previous dog. Now that my new dog's training has stabilized, we visited for the first time in years for an overnight stay with dinner, and as always, it was incredibly accommodating for dogs. The dinner is a full-course meal and very authentic, but the portions are so generous that it's hard to finish everything. The room was upgraded to a spacious one where my dog could run around freely. On clear days, you can enjoy a view of Mt. Fuji, but unfortunately, it rained during our stay. However, I was quite bothered by the smell when entering the room. Still, this is an accommodation I would like to use again occasionally!

    Comfortable to stay.

    This was my first visit. Although the weather was unfortunate, the indoor dog run was spacious enough for small dogs. The Room was also large, and there were leash hooks at the entrance. It would be nice to have a space to place a cart. I heard that dogs could get on the bed with diapers on, but since the bed is a bit high, I thought having steps would allow dogs to climb up and down by themselves. The food was delicious, and the self-checkout system was convenient. Diapers for dogs are available in various sizes, so you can truly come empty-handed! As we knew from the beginning, it was disappointing for us that there wasn’t a shower in our Room; next time we plan to choose a Room with one (as we’re not comfortable walking around in pajamas inside). We made wonderful memories and will definitely visit again!

    Perfect

    We stayed in early October as a couple in our 70s with a small dog. Overall, it is a high-level Hotel with no major complaints. The guest room facilities are new and excellent, the bath is slightly small but within an acceptable range, and the French cuisine was delicious and exquisite. We enjoyed red wine and sake, both of which satisfied even a sake lover like me. The staff's hospitality was uniformly outstanding. From the rooftop dog run, the view of Mount Fuji felt so close that it seemed within reach—truly breathtaking. It was worth coming all the way to see Mount Fuji. Unfortunately, we planned a rather busy schedule this time around. Next time, we hope to arrange for a more relaxed itinerary to fully enjoy our stay!

    The location is great, but...

    The location and dog run are great, but the bath and room are average. The meals, especially dinner, claim to be authentic French but are comparable to Denny's. It's puzzling why Nogi has such high ratings from everyone. Jogasaki was overall better.

    It was an accommodation that met our expectations.

    This might be my fifth stay here. I arrived a bit early, but the staff kindly welcomed me at the entrance, making check-in very pleasant. This time, I stayed in a room with a view of Mt. Fuji, which was spacious enough for three people and one dog. I always look forward to dinner during my stays, and once again, it exceeded my expectations with its delicious offerings. The facility is well-maintained and allowed for a comfortable stay throughout. Thank you to all the staff members for their hospitality. I look forward to staying here again!

    The dog run was excellent.

    There were many dogs, from large breeds to tiny ones, and most seemed accustomed to traveling. Fortunately, the weather on our accommodation day was cloudy with cool temperatures, allowing us to interact with various dogs at the grassy dog run right next door. Both our dog and we were very happy. The room only had a shower, and the shared bath was small, so we were initially concerned. However, it surprisingly never got crowded. The convenience of being close to the shared bath from the room was also a plus. The meals were enjoyable; dinner and freshly baked bread for breakfast and dinner were delicious. However, the omelet at breakfast was served cold. It was inconvenient that drinks during dinner and items from the shop couldn't be charged to the room. Although I mentioned some concerns, overall it was a satisfying stay. We look forward to visiting again during a season when we can fully enjoy playing in the dog run!

    Luxury Accommodation for You and Your Dog

    A wonderful dog-friendly accommodation. We visit every year, and each time we leave thinking, "It was great to come here; let's return next year." Dogs can stay with you almost everywhere, including during meals. The staff are warm and considerate towards both people and dogs, making it a safe and comfortable place to stay. When we mentioned that our dog is a bit sensitive to cooking sounds, they kindly arranged a seat further away. This hotel is highly recommended for those who may feel anxious about traveling with their dogs. Above all, the food is absolutely delicious! It's one of the highlights I look forward to every year. From the dog run, you can enjoy a stunning view of Mt. Fuji, and in winter mornings, you might even see the beautiful red Fuji—truly luxurious moments all around. One of our little traditions during each visit is dressing up our beloved dog in costumes here and taking photos—a secret joy for us!

    The meals were very delicious.

    The facilities for dogs are well-equipped, and the dog runs are spacious and enjoyable. The rooftop, in particular, was refreshing during sunset, offering a pleasant view of Mt. Fuji through the clouds. The meals were delicious as expected from our previous visit to Jogasaki. While the portions might be slightly small for men, all the meat dishes were very tasty. However, one downside was that the Room's entrance is directly connected to the main door without any partition, making it easy for our dog to run down to the entrance. When we asked at the front desk if there was any kind of gate or barrier available, they said there wasn’t. However, we found some cages and barriers near the elevator that could be used freely and borrowed one. Most Facilities usually have gates at entrances to prevent such issues. Additionally, since our Room was close to the entrance area, outside noises and other dogs barking were very audible. Our dog is sensitive to sounds and reacted by barking every time he heard noises or barking from 5:30 AM onwards, leaving us sleep-deprived. Perhaps a larger Room might mitigate this issue slightly; however, it seems unavoidable due to structural design. Sensitive dogs may find it challenging here.

    It was a satisfying trip.

    Decided on an accommodation where you can stay with your dog and enjoy a view of Mt. Fuji from the room. As it’s called "One's Resort," the services and considerations for dogs are impressively perfect. At an altitude of about 1,000m, it was relatively cool even in midsummer, making it comfortable for both dogs and humans. We stayed in a Fuji View Room. Opening the curtains truly revealed a clear view of Mt. Fuji, which was incredibly satisfying! For improvement... The sound of conversations in the hallway and the "thud" noise when opening or closing doors to the dog run could be heard clearly inside the room. We had breakfast and dinner during our multiple night stay, and since they weren’t identical menus each day, we enjoyed them thoroughly. It seems understandable that some side dishes were repeated here and there.

    I stayed for two nig...

    I stayed for two nights. The staff were kind and accommodating, and I felt the service had improved compared to last year. There are multiple dog runs, so it was easy to use without overlapping with other dogs. The rooftop dog run opens at 8 AM, but during summer, it gets very hot, making it difficult to use unless it's open from around 5 AM. Please consider improving this.

    Delightful dining experience

    The meals were absolutely delicious! Dining is truly one of the joys of traveling. We were completely satisfied with the vegetables, meat, and fish. We were delighted to find diapers provided for our beloved dog. This means we can travel lighter next time. Although it rained on the last day, we appreciated having an indoor dog run where our pet could play. We also requested a photo session during our stay and received wonderful photos of our dog that we couldn’t have taken ourselves—such a memorable experience!

    I looked for accommodation in Lake Yamanaka. I have stayed at various places with my beloved dog, but I felt that the facilities for dogs were well-equipped here. The meals were also delicious. However, I think it would be better if there were more baths available. I would like to use this accommodation again if I have the chance.

    From check-in to check-out, the staff's service was very kind and pleasant. We were able to relax in an environment that felt just like home, especially accommodating for our dog. The room was clean with no noticeable odors. The meals were delicious as well. It is often challenging to find accommodations where dogs are welcome, but we were delighted to discover this wonderful place and would love to visit again. The Onsen provided a perfect space and time for relaxation, allowing us to stretch out and unwind. Thank you for the lovely experience. One concern we noticed was that the hairdryer in the men's bath did not seem to blow warm air properly, though it might have been due to incorrect usage on our part.

    I was impressed by the excellent hospitality.

    The stay coincided with one year and two days after the rabies vaccination, and I was worried about forcing a last-minute vaccination that might affect my pet's health. When I consulted over the phone, I was told, "It is up to you whether to bring your pet (even if they feel unwell after the vaccination)." While I understand the one-year rule, I honestly felt frustrated by this response. However, when we arrived at the accommodation, the service was truly outstanding. It made me think it’s a shame that the inquiry center's response didn’t reflect this level of care. (In the end, they were considerate about rabies vaccinations and had informed hotel staff in advance, so there were no issues on the day.) As for the hotel itself, there were many thoughtful touches for guests with pets. Towels were perfectly prepared upon returning from outings, and ramps for carts were available everywhere. It felt like a hotel designed specifically for those traveling with pets rather than just being "pet-friendly," which left me deeply impressed. In previous stays elsewhere where rules like "Do not let pets on beds" existed, it was often hard to relax or sleep properly. This time around though, we could enjoy our stay without any worries at all. Even during our multiple night stay, meal menus differed each day and added variety to our experience—it was truly delightful! The staff’s warm smiles and excellent service also stood out wonderfully. If given another opportunity in the future, I would love to return again!

    This was my second stay, and while my first experience left a great impression, I may have had slightly higher expectations this time. ■ Positive Points - The staff were genuinely pleasant, attentive, and provided heartfelt service that was truly comforting. - Bread refills were available during breakfast and dinner, ensuring we were fully satisfied. ■ Disappointing Points - Since the reservation was made through IKYU.com, I couldn't change the dinner menu, which gave an impression of inflexibility. - The kitchen's cooking process wasn't visible; it seemed like only plating was done there. Given my expectations for food quality, this was honestly disappointing. - Dinner had two seating times; choosing the earlier slot felt rushed towards the end, making it hard to enjoy at a leisurely pace. - The parking lot is still gravel-covered, which feels inconsistent with a high-end resort image. - The smoking area had a strong odor that could be unpleasant for non-smokers or families with children. ■ About Children's Meals For our 3-year-old child (reserved as 4 years old), we expected well-prepared children's meals but found them to have a noticeable "microwaved" feel and taste that wasn’t very appealing even when sampled by adults. We hoped for more effort in providing delicious meals even for young children. Overall, while the staff's service was excellent and satisfying on many levels, there is room for improvement in terms of food quality and facility environment. I look forward to seeing these aspects improved during future stays at this accommodation.

    Dog-First Hotel

    The dog run is beautifully maintained, and above all, the view of Mt. Fuji is spectacular!! The wet towels for wiping paws were very helpful. The dog amenities were sufficient, and the room was clean, odor-free, and comfortable. We chose this accommodation because we wanted a place where we could dine with our dog. The meals were delicious, and most importantly, our beloved dog was calm during the meal, making it an even more enjoyable dining experience. The weather was great, and we were so excited about the stunning view of Mt. Fuji outside that we left without checking out the indoor dog run—our only regret. We definitely want to come back for another visit!

    A Trip That Even Pero-chan Will Enjoy

    I made a Reservation because I really wanted to fully enjoy the majestic Mount Fuji. Waking up to the breathtakingly beautiful view of Mount Fuji right in front of me was incredible. The dogs seemed so happy both at the dog run and in the restaurant. I will definitely come back again.
