    An Accommodation where women and children can feel comfortable and at ease

    It was a shame we arrived late, but since it was all-inclusive, we enjoyed drinks without hesitation. After 8:00 p.m., there were also plenty of snacks available. We had dinner in a lovely private annex, enjoyed live piano music at night, and even made use of the massage chair. The bath had tatami flooring that felt great underfoot, but the open-air bath was a little cool. Also, there were times when no one was at the front desk, which felt slightly unsettling—having a bell or similar would be helpful.

    Hozusan – Plan with Access to the Kameoka Sports Park Pool

    We stayed as a family in the suite with a private open-air Onsen bath, “Hozan.” This Accommodation offers an impressive range of kid-friendly services. After check-in, there were freshly baked pizza and shaved ice, a frog-finding activity around the property, capsule-toy machines, handheld fireworks, goat feeding, LOVOT, table tennis, and many other thoughtful touches to keep children entertained. We especially appreciated that you prepared the frog-finding capsule toy and fireworks for each of our three children. Dinner at “SAN” was excellent and was a highlight of this stay. The large public bath has non-slip flooring with a tatami-like texture, making it easy to use even with small children, and the open-air bath was very relaxing. There was also a service that lets you choose your shampoo amenities. In the Hozan room’s private open-air bath area, ReFa body soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided, along with a ReFa hair dryer and hair iron. On the other hand, the room has many steps/level changes, so families with small children need to be careful. We also noticed some areas where trash or dust remained; we would be happy if cleaning could be more thorough. The additional floor mattress felt quite thin as well—given the class of the Hozan room, upgrading the bedding quality would further improve satisfaction. We do not mind that laying out futons is self-service since it helps keep the Accommodation Fee reasonable. The dining area had children’s chairs; however, there were no supportive chairs (e.g., with safety belts) for infants/toddlers who cannot sit steadily on their own—so we ended up holding our child for most of the meal. Having these types of chairs available would be very helpful. This is an efficient style without elaborate greetings or in-room guidance; in return, you can enjoy great food, Onsen baths, and extensive services at a reasonable price—overall excellent value. This time we booked a Plan that included “Kame-Pu,” which allowed our family to enjoy ourselves all day again on the following day. While there are areas for improvement mentioned above, it is an Accommodation we would like to revisit for another summer family trip.

    A Summer Holiday

    This was my first time staying here, and I truly felt the Hotel’s hospitality. The all-you-can-drink selection of juices and alcohol was excellent, so I didn’t need to have drinks in the Room. From 8:00 p.m., there were also drinks, alcohol, and ochazuke available, which I really enjoyed. The food was delicious as well. However, I visited the farm tour, but perhaps because it was midsummer there weren’t many vegetables, which was disappointing. I’d like to visit again in a different season.

    A Family Trip While Caring for My Mother

    I chose this place while looking for a nearby destination I could reach by car with my father (85), as it may be our last trip together. I wished I could have brought my late mother as well, so I came with her photo. It was about a 90-minute drive. Surrounded by greenery, we stayed one night from Sunday to Monday, which suited our schedule. There is an elevator, and the seating is comfortably spaced. Dinner was a kaiseki-style meal, with vegetables prepared deliciously. Breakfast was buffet-style, but they do not let in too many guests at once, and the small-dish presentation was great. The rice was also delicious, and the seasoning was just right. I would like to visit again casually. There are activities that children will enjoy too, and next time we plan to come with our grandchildren’s family.

    Girls’ Trip

    This was my fourth stay, and I’d like to recommend it to friends. This time, for the first time, I rode the trolley and then took the pickup bus from “Trolley Kameoka.” I couldn’t find the pickup bus stop at first and panicked a bit… but then I met the driver holding a small sign that said “Satoyama Holiday Kemokawa,” which was reassuring. I was able to get on the bus safely. My stay at the Accommodation was very comfortable. One small disappointment is that each time I stay at Hozan, there seem to be fewer complimentary drinks in the refrigerator. Over the past two years it has gradually decreased, and this time there was only yuzu cider. That said, this yuzu cider was delicious. Since it’s all-inclusive and there are free drinks available in the lobby, I ultimately decided it’s fine even if there isn’t much in the fridge. Last time I was truly impressed with dinner at Hibiki and was very satisfied, but this time we chose San. It was still more than delicious enough—I was satisfied and completely full. The quality of the cuisine keeps improving, which makes me happy and excited, and it only makes me want to come back even more. Thank you again for taking such good care of us. We’ll visit again.

    This was our third s...

    This was our third stay. There is a public pool nearby, and we look forward to going there at the beginning of summer vacation. The play Facility is well equipped, and we enjoyed it. We would appreciate it if the children’s meals could include a little less fried food. They also had local sake, which was delicious. We are very grateful for the birthday service for our child.

    Very satisfied with the meals

    Both dinner and breakfast were extremely satisfying. Every vegetable was delicious, and you can feel the thoughtful care in the cooking methods and seasoning. The pork was tender and fell apart in the mouth, full of flavor. The pike conger was also outstanding! If I had to mention a drawback, the layout inside the building is a bit complex, with guest rooms scattered around, so it’s easy to get lost. It was also a little disappointing that you can’t see the outside scenery from the open-air bath. Still, what more than makes up for it is the exceptional quality of the meals—the best by far. You can really sense the chef’s dedication.

    Very satisfied!

    We had a very relaxing stay. It was wonderful to have meals made with vegetables grown right on the farm—something I’ve always admired. We were told we could try digging for sweet potatoes, but we already had plans at that time and couldn’t join. It was a shame, but it couldn’t be helped—no one can predict exactly when they’ll be ready to harvest. Thank you very much for all your hospitality.

    A Satoyama Getaway to Enjoy Local Sake

    At dinner, it’s great that you can drink as much alcohol as you like. There are several kinds of Kyoto sake, which I really enjoyed. Overall, this is a casual Accommodation, but it’s one I’d like to visit with the theme of enjoying drinks. Breakfast is also a buffet, and I liked its natural style.

    A Wonderful Holiday

    I visited with my grandchildren. Both the adult meals and the children’s meals were perfectly tailored, and we were very satisfied. We also thoroughly enjoyed the next day’s ground golf, kick scooters, and Keburikawa Farm—an unforgettable escape from everyday life!

    Trip to celebrate my mother’s 81st birthday

    I stayed here previously with four girlfriends and had a wonderful time, so this time I made a Reservation again for a nearby trip, as my daughter is in her final month of pregnancy and my mother is 81. The service was excellent, and they even wrote a message on the dessert, which made it an unforgettable trip. The pizza on arrival, the all-you-can-drink option, and the tatami flooring in the bath were especially great for seniors and children. When we have another grandchild, I’d love to come back with the whole family. My mother (81), my daughter, and my grandchild were all delighted with the spacious, lovely Room. Thank you very much.

    Voices of people wal...

    Voices of people walking in front of the room could be heard clearly, and there was an ice machine nearby that made loud clattering noises in the middle of the night, so I couldn’t sleep. Soundproofing is absolutely necessary. I was also surprised that the shoji screen in the room had holes that were simply patched over. There were worn and peeling areas around the corners as well, and it felt far too poorly maintained. Everything else was fine, but they should spend more money to fix the issues above.

    So peaceful!

    We visited with high expectations, as this is a popular Accommodation. Afternoon tea started at 2:00 PM right after we arrived, and they kindly served the welcome drink earlier than the usual 3:00 PM, so we were able to fully enjoy the all-inclusive experience. Above all, the setting was very peaceful, and the staff’s hospitality was pleasant and relaxing. Even during Golden Week, when many families were staying, we had a truly soothing time. Thank you very much.

    A Well-Balanced Hotel

    When we entered our Room (No. 322), we were moved to see a large cherry blossom tree—just beginning to shed its petals—filling the view from the window. Thank you very much! The meals were thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious. We also enjoyed several kinds of drinks in small portions. Our companion who doesn’t drink alcohol was very satisfied with the tasty juices as well! We also thought the late-night ochazuke was a fun idea. All of the staff—at the front desk, in the restaurant, and those in charge of cleaning our Room—greeted us with smiles and were very pleasant. We would be happy if there were a sauna in the bath area. One thing that concerned us was that in the restaurant and lobby, a small child was screaming loudly throughout, and the guardian seemed to pay little attention and largely left it unattended. We understand it can’t always be helped, but it did spoil the atmosphere somewhat...

    Birthday celebration

    This was our fifth stay at this Accommodation, and the cuisine has become more delicious year by year. Each time, something new is added, and this visit was the best so far. Thank you very much for your thoughtful gesture with the celebratory message plate for dessert. When we made our Reservation, there were only a few Rooms left, and we debated whether everyone should stay in one Japanese-style Room or book two Rooms. We chose a Western-style Room with beds for our elderly parents and a Japanese-style Room for the children. We thought we might end up on different floors, but the Rooms were next to each other, which made it easy to go back and forth and was very helpful. It became a wonderful birthday celebration. The frog doll search event was also fun, and we appreciated the welcome drink in the lounge as well. Thank you always for the Shuttle Service from the station to the Accommodation. We would love to stay again.

    The food was excellent!

    This was my first stay, hoping to relax in the Onsen. The spacious grounds offered plenty to enjoy—activities, a fire pit, even goats—there were lots of thoughtful touches! From the photos, I had assumed it might be more of an upscale Ryokan, but it was actually more of a family-friendly Facility. The all-inclusive plan felt carefully curated, and I was especially impressed with the high-quality drink selection at dinner—I was very satisfied. Dinner itself was excellent as well! I thoroughly enjoyed the wood-fired oven cuisine.

    Very satisfied with the service!

    All the staff were courteous, and I had a very comfortable stay. In the bath area, I happened to overlap with a few groups of students, and the women’s changing area felt cramped with no available seats at the sinks, but aside from that I was able to relax and enjoy a meaningful short trip.     Excellent accommodation!

    I visited Yunohana Onsen about 50 years ago. The accommodation was much, much better compared to the past. I will definitely visit again! Unfortunately, I wasn’t feeling well on the day and couldn’t finish the delicious dinner. My apologies! Though, it might have been a bit oily? Also, during breakfast, some ingredients were out of stock, which slightly affected my appetite. However, it was a wonderful accommodation overall. Thank you very much!

    Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink and unlimited alcohol, which was fantastic. Additionally, there were two types of pizza available for unlimited servings, and they were delicious. We enjoyed the standard course dinner, where each dish was carefully explained and absolutely delightful! The unlimited alcohol during dinner was another highlight as we got to try various drinks. The bath area also featured a shampoo bar with several options to choose from, adding an extra touch of enjoyment. We would love to visit again!

    With my mother in a wheelchair

    I stayed in a barrier-free Room, which had a spacious toilet and bathroom accessible by wheelchair, making it very convenient. The staff were also very helpful in arranging a wheelchair for me, and I am truly grateful. The food was delicious, and they carefully listened to my preferences. Both the front desk and restaurant provided attentive service that showcased excellent hospitality. Thank you very much. A foot bath accessible by wheelchair would make it perfect!

    The private sauna was disappointing.

    I was looking forward to staying in the new Superior Room with an open-air bath (private sauna), but unfortunately, the sauna's maximum temperature was only 65°C, making it too cold to enjoy. Additionally, the open-air bath was smaller than expected and difficult to use. While the food, service, and hospitality were excellent, the new room with an open-air bath (private sauna) did not meet my expectations.

    Perfect and wonderful

    The meals were excellent, and the service was outstanding. A staff member from Mongolia made a great effort to communicate in simple Japanese, leaving a very positive impression. The baths, including the indoor ones, were clean and exceptional. Upon departure, an elderly staff member kindly saw us off, making us want to visit again.

    Enjoy a Relaxing Countryside Getaway

    The spacious grounds allowed us to relax and unwind. Although we couldn't secure tickets for the desired trolley train and arrived early, we were kindly picked up, which we greatly appreciated. Thanks to the all-inclusive package, we enjoyed a leisurely dinner with free drinks and spent the evening in the lounge savoring whiskey while listening to beautiful live jazz piano performances. It turned out to be a wonderful wedding anniversary trip. Thank you very much!

    We stayed with our 6-month-old baby. It was decent overall, neither particularly good nor bad, but the all-inclusive option with alcohol was a nice touch. We stayed on November 4th, but seeing Halloween decorations felt a bit out of place.

    The room, cuisine, and onsen were all excellent. I stayed for two nights with a friend. Although I forgot to mention it at the time of check-in, I informed the staff about my allergy to the main meat dish during the meal. They kindly accommodated my request and provided a delicious alternative. This is an accommodation I would love to revisit.

    You can enjoy Aoi and Chita.

    We were able to book a Standard Japanese-style room with meals included for just under 30,000 yen due to a special discounted rate. The dinner portion was sufficient, possibly because I have a small appetite. Since I eat slowly while drinking, the staff adjusted the serving pace accordingly. I was pleasantly surprised that Aoi and Chita were included in the all-you-can-drink option during dinner. Although Aoi was listed on the official menu, Chita wasn't mentioned, so it might have been a special inclusion.
